  • 2LIS_03_UM - FULL LOAD VIA SETUP TABLE NOT EQUAL TO DELTA

    Hello,
I try to load stock data with 2LIS_03_UM.
When I extract data using setup table and full load I don't get the same records as I get with delta load. Although the key figures values are the same, the documents numbers are different. Most documents from delta load are ML (material ledger) documents while documents from full load (via setup table) are mainly FI documents.
What can be the reason? How can I fix it?
    Thank you,
    Hadar

    Hi,
Delta load extracts data from Delta Queue based on your update mode selected in LBWE.
Full Load or Init load extracts data from Setup tables, here if you are extracting data from setup tables ? did you fill the setup tables now or not after deleting the existing data of the setup tables?
are you getting same values when compare to R/3 and BW data for some document numbers?

  • HT201250 My MacBook is full.  I want to 'save' (backup) everything on my Time Capsule and then reset my MacBook to factory settings so it is empty again.  Can I access my files on the TC without restoring the whole thing to my MacBook?

I also bought a WD My Book 2T external hard drive, but I think I wasted my money.  The thing is not easy to navigate.  I bought it because I didn't understand (and still don't really) how the Time Capsule works.  I want to be able to basically 'reformat' my MacBook so it is empty, but have all my current stuff accessable so that if I want to find a photo or file, I don't have to restore the entire thing back onto my MacBook.

Then what you want is a Carbon Copy Cloner of your entire OS X boot partition which includes everything (OS X, programs and files) and is hold the option key bootable at boot up (wired or built in keyboard) this way you can boot from it or use Migration or Setup Assistant against it, or access it directly from any computer capable of reading the HFS+ format (Windows PC needs MacDrive installed)
It's like the ultimate backup system, just blows TimeMachine and TimeCapsule away completely in almost every manner.
You need another backup anyway in case TC wasn't doing it's job. With the clone you can check it out completely before erasing the original drive too.
    Most commonly used backup methods
So you need a blank powered external drive formatted Partition: 1 option: GUID and format OS X extended journaled in Disk Utility, use the Erase > Secure >Zero (or middle selection in 10.7+) and allow that work, may take a few hours but it's good for all new drives to be done once.
Next download CCC and select your boot drive and clone it to the external drive, then when it's finished you hold the option key down (wired or built in keyboard) and while booting up (Startup manager) to select the clone to boot from and check it out.
Next you need to use Disk Utility (on the clone) and select the Macintosh HD partition of the internal drive and use the Secure Zero Erase (or middle selection) and allow that to work, it will scrub your drive of everything.
Next you install OS X again.
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
How to reinstall just OS X or erase/install OS X
Next you install your free iLife and third party programs from original sources
Restoring your Free iLife (iPhoto, iMovie etc)
Then you can cherry pick just want you want off the clone drive.

  • MacBook Air Full Screen Display

Why does my MacBook Air not go full screen when the display is set at 1440 x 900?  I have to set the display at 1024 x 640 to get a full screen display.  Thanks.

    Hi forever free,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of your issue. Depending on your model of MacBook Air (post-2010), the native fullscreen resolution should be 1440 by 900 (16:10 aspect ratio) for the 13 inch and 1366 by 768 (16:9 aspect ratio) for the 11 inch. • IMac and macbook pro side by side setup

    I have a imac mid 2011 and a macbook pro mid 2014.
I would like to use them as recording/gaming setup. What I was wondering is how I can record my imac's screen with my macbook?
I know I can use my imac as secondary screen but than i can't acces any of the imac's applications or documents.
It's a waste of recourses and i don't like this.
    Thanks in advance!

The server and type of connection are also important. I get pretty bad latency over WiFi, for example, and the Gul Dan server has been really slow of late. I have 20M down / 5M up to the house and 801.11g router. With my 2007 MBP over wireless (good connection), I generally get in the mid 40's to 50's in the Outlands, but got 6 when I logged in last night (by the time I logged out, it had crept up to about 35).
On my 2007 24" iMac (C2D w/ the NVidia option -- last of the white models), I generally get 100-110 at 1900x1200 -- and that's using 100Mbps ethernet to the switch plugged into the ONT.

Hello, the OfficeJet 6500A E710 is a ethernet only product.  The OfficeJet 6500A Plus has wireless support.  Since the printer's front panel network settings do not have the wireless options, I suspect you do not have the Plus model and that is why you cannot setup wireless.  Do you have the 6500A Plus or 6500A?

  • Can I manually transfer Notes from iPhone to MacBook without full back-up?

    Hi everyone,
I'd appreciate some help with getting the Notes I have scribbled on my iPhone 4S onto my MacBook so I can see and use them there too.
Despite quite a bit of searching online for clues and playing around with iCloud, I can't seem to transfer them across - although the Notes app on my iPhone is full of all sorts of things, no Notes appear when I load it up on the MacBook.
I've got a full backup of the phone on my laptop, but I'm not a fan of automatic syncing so I've got it switched to manual transfer only on iTunes.  I've got the lastest software on both devices.
Any idea where I'm going wrong, or is this a gap?
    Thanks - and Merry Christmas!

File menu, Transfer Purchases. The hpone and Mac must be logged on to the same iTunes account.

  • MacBook unaccountably full

One of the school MacBooks has almost run out of room on the hard drive yet I can't find what's causing the memory glut. The 55 GB hard drive reports that it only has 824.5 MB free space, yet the sizes shown by Get Info don't match this. 'Macintosh HD' has four folders: Applications (7.44 GB), Library (11.1 GB), System (1.76 GB) and Users (Account 1: 382.9 GB, Account 2: 21.7 MB, Account 3: 51.MB).
The other MacBooks, which were imaged off the same computer as the full one a couple of months ago, all show about 23 GB free

You can use WhatSize to tell where the space on your hard disk is being used; the information calculated by WhatSize includes folders you can't see in the Finder by default and are necessary for Mac OS X to run, such as /private. If you find what is taking up that disk space, post back with that item's name and location.

  • Macbook CPU full load, 99 degrees celsius

On my late 2008 13" Macbook 2.4ghz when I run 2 instances of "yes > /dev/null" for 10 minutes to stress the CPU, the CPU temperature is at 99 degrees celsius even with the fans going at the maximum 6200 rpms and while using a cheap cooling pad. I took the computer to an Apple store "genius" and he thought this was normal. Is anyone else seeing temperatures like this using this stress test method? I looked at the website http://www.intelmactemp.com/ and highest full load temperature I see for this computer is 84 degrees celsius. I have noticed problems running intensive 3d games where the system slows down from high temperatures and more so under Windows XP.
This computer is 4 months out of warranty but until recently I never ran intensive programs and so never noticed the problem. What can I do about this, I feel Apple should be responsible for this.

    Hi MindBrain,
Saw your post last night but didn't have immediate access to 13" MacBook (Aluminum). So I've got a 2.4GHz unit with 4GB of RAM and ran two instances of the same command in Terminal.
All information is reported via iStat Pro:
CPU Temp before test - 76 (fans at 1998 RPM)
CPU Temp @ 5 minutes into test - 96 (fans at 2001 RPM)
CPU Temp @ 10 minutes into test - 97 (fans at 3100 RPM)
CPU Temp @ 15 minutes into test - 103 (fans at 5800 RPM)
CPU Temp @ 20 minutes into test - 106 (fans at 6200 RPM)
CPU Temp @ 25 minutes into test - 108 (fans at 6200 RPM)
For thoroughness, I also opted to run the test on a brand new 13" MacBook Pro, a 2 year old white MacBook 2.2GHz and another MacBook Aluminum. It's convenience I have when surrounded by 5600+ Macs across campus. All of the other machines also reported similar numbers, breaking the 100 degree threshold between 12-13 minutes into the test.
While I do not wish to discredit that URL, in all honesty I've probably had three times the number of entries on that website (611 as of this post) come across my desk in the past year for various reasons. So I really can't see that as being a valid resource to support an argument.
Not to mention it was your decision to not purchase AppleCare on your computer within the one year window, it was also your decision to not properly ensure adequate function of your machine prior to conclusion of the one year limited warranty. There was no responsibility on behalf of Apple to obligate you to stress test the machine 4 months after the one year warranty expired.
Lastly, is the sluggishness only in Windows XP or is it occurring on the Mac side as well?

  • Using my MacBook with a "docking station" setup issues with hot corners

I have a 13" white 1.83GHz Core Duo MacBook. Came with 512MB of RAM, upgraded that to 2GB from OWC. then my HDD started to die, so while replacing that I went from the 60GB to a 120GB SATA 1.5 5400RPM HDD. This is my main system, I use it for both work and home. At work I use the laptop display, keyboard, and touchpad. But at home, I use a 19" wide via Mini DVI to VGA, one of those new bluetooth apple keyboards (just got it, one of the best keyboards I have ever touched), and a USB wired Microsoft mouse.
The issues I have been having are as follows: I get home, plug in the power, video, and mouse. then click a key on the keyboard and it will wake up. But half the time my hot corners don't work, and I am unable to see other PCs on my network. I reboot and these issues are fixed. Then I leave from home, and try to wake up the Book at work, half the time it wont wake up, and when it does, same issues, hot corners don't work, magnify doesn't work. Can't see other PCs until I reboot. I have a short drive, and I prefer to just put it to sleep.
One other issue. I play World of Warcraft on this system, and in the last couple of weeks, it will produce system lag. to the point where it gets really hard to keep playing. Other people I know have identical systems that play it just fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the use case you describe is possible.
If you buy the Lenovo fingerprint keyboard, then you are buying something that has been tested with ThinkPads and we provide a driver for Win8/Win8.1
If you buy some other fingerprint keyboard, we can't guarantee whether it will work or not.  At least, make sure there's a Win8/Win8.1 driver for it.

  • Hi, I'm going to buy the new MacBook AIR  full loaded but I have been reading all the discussions here and look like it has so many problems. My other option is the MacBook Retina.

I am worry about these amount of problem that I just read about MBair. I want to change to apple because most of my genetic software runs very good in these computer. As I said MBP retina is my other option. I am thinking to buy a full loaded MBair. I will appreciate your comments or/and recomendations. Thanks

Keep in mind what you are reading here is a biased sample, by definition.  People mainly come here because they have a problem.  A user who is not experiencing any problems is very likely to have never eveh heard of these forums.
Keep in mind that Apple sells millions of laptops every year, and you have no idea how many of them do NOT have the problems you see being discussed here.  And if there were truly huge numbers of dissatisfied customers, how has Apple continued to sell so many computers consistantly for so many years?

  • MacBook disc full message

Help, on startup I get a "startup disk is almost full" message, when I pass this and start up my computer just seems to freeze, it just shows the purple stars/space picture. Nothing else.
I've tried to redraft and boot of a system cd but it always defaults back to my startup login security screen.
Any ideas how I can start up of another cd to delete data.

Startup in Safe Mode then delete data from there.

Make sure you have a minimum of 15% free disk space.

  • MacBook Pro Full Restore

I have an "Early 2011" MacBook Pro that I bought in August 2011. This meant I received a free upgrade to Lion from Snow Leopard that came pre-installed.
I'm finding now that the computer has become quite slow and laggy. This may be due to some virus picked up while downloading from torrents or other questionable websites and I feel that a complete hard disk wipe and OS re-install would help. While I already have a back up of all the files and media I need, I don't know what can be done about some games and apps I purchased from the AppStore. Will they be re-downloadable for free if I restore my MacBook and sign in to the same iTunes account I used to purchase them? Also, will I be able to download Lion for free should I choose not to pay for the Mountain Lion upgrade right away?
I would also appreciate addional suggestions about how to deal with my Mac getting slow and laggy if you feel a complete restore may not be the best option.

If you nopw have Lion on your system you also have the Recovery HD partition. At startup hold down the Command+r key to boot to the Recovery HD. Once that boots open Disk Utility and Erase the Macintosh HD partition. Then when that is finished exit out of DU and Select Reinstall Mac OS X. Have your Apple ID and password and Wire the computer to your internet Router, Ethernet cable from computer to router. Lion willl be downloaded from the internet and then the install will start.
Yes you can get all the Apps/Games you bought from the MAS again without haing to pay for them.
You will need the Applications Reinstall DVD disc that came with your system to reinstall the iLife apps and then use Software Update to update them to the newest versions.

  • MacBook disk full and no permission to open files after factory restore??

Ok, so my sister was giving me her laptop, so she backs up on her hard drive and we did the restore using the har drive and it worked fine, like it was before. But because it was suppose to become mine I wanted it restored as new. I can't remeber hhow how how I restored it the second time but it took a few hours But my sister decide to keep her laptop. Anyway, now her laptop won't let her download anything because it says 'disk space full' when she has well over 400gb left buti also see it says she has about 600,000 files. Also, her mbp won't let me open her documents or anything staying we don't have permission.
Can someone please help me, i was up til 5am trying to figure it out and nothing has helped. Her back up drive won't show when doing another factory restore and when I did another factory restore to reinstall OS X Yosemite the same thing is happening.
