Macbook Air and Devolo Homeplug Conflict

I am have a major conflict issue with my Macbook Air (2010)and a set of Devolo Homeplugs
Once the both are on the same network (does not have to connect directly) then it brings down the entire network
Cannot ping any device or router
No other device on the network brings down the connection, except when the macbook connects
This was working perfect for about 6 months
I have tested with the following
1) Got amazon to replace the Homeplugs
2) Replaced my router
3) Connected the homeplug directly to the network, no other network switches or other computers, just router, homplug and macbook air
4) Reloaded Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
5) Same issue when using macbook air usb ethernet adapter
6) Turned off Wireless on Devolo homeplug,
Same issue appears
HomePlugs -ON, MacBook Air -ON, Conflict
HomePlugs -OFF, MacBook Air-ON, OK
HomePlugs -ON, MacBook Air - OFF, OK
Has anyone had the same issues and found a fix? Could it be my Macbook?

Hi, no it's not that as i only use wifi on the macbook air, not ethernet (only tested with a usb ethernet adapter when i was having this problems)
I have no bridges setup, and same problem is still there after reloading LION
Yes the issue goes away as soon as it turn off the macbook air (or even just turn off the WLAN/Airport)

That is correct, so I have just been told!! Our Router is a D-Link DSL-2640R which we access via typing 192.168.1.1 into our Internet Explorer Browser on a Windows PC computer. All this has been working for years. The Summary page for the Router shows Internet, DSL and Wireless are all connected and working fine. We have changed the channel to 11 which has made things faster and is not in conflict with nearby systems, but wi-fi still drops on the Mac and iPads. I have only had this problem for a matter of a few weeks. Before that all worked perfectly fine.

Be careful about mixing Time Machine backups and other data on the TC's disk. That will cause conflicts, sooner or later. See #Q3 in Using Time Machine with a Time Capsule for an explanation and some possible workarounds.

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Can I use a memory stick to back up my MacBook Air and what size do I need?

i Have a MacBook air , processor 1.3 Ghz Intel core i5, 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory. Operating on OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.1.
it will not open up Safari, it crashed out of Safari with an error message and will not ooen it up now however many times I try. I was reading Daily Mail on line at the time. I can get onto the Internet by using Chrome but it feels as if Chrome is in charge of me rather than the other way round. when I type in an address it just takes me where it wants to go rather than the website I want to to. I now want to back up my data but left my drive in UK (I am in USA at the moment.) so wondered if I can back all my data (very important data) on to a memory stick so I can wipe my computer and start again. I have an appointment with a techie at the Apple shop on Saturday but need to back up my data before the appointment, so not sure what to do.
ALso my IPad is very unstable after using the Daily Mail site, it has always seemed to be fine before but this weekend seems to have created problems for both my MacBook Air and IPad Mini...

Click on the blue Internet Recovery in nbar's post. That is a link to what computers can run Internet Recovery.
Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

I have been using a 2012 Mac pro to do HD video editing. I bought a new portable Macbook Air only to find that Maverick no longer has "open files in a new window" which I use all the time in the very large folders of video clips and royalty-free music. I asked at the Apple Store how I could get this back on the Macbook Air and they said it couldn't be done so I thought I would re-format the HD and install 10.7 on it and was notified by the Macbook Air I can't put 10.7 on that computer. Apple use to give this as an option but now they have gone more to the attitude of "Do it our way or go to ****!" In anger I went out and bought a Dell Laptop and Pinnacle Studio 17 which I have been learning to use. I have been an Apple/Mac user since 1979 and would still rather do my video editing on a Mac. Is there any way that I can force the Macbook Air to let me load in OSX 10.7 where there is still the option to "open files in a new window" or is there a way to add this to Maverick? The experts at the Madison, WI Couldn't give me any help on this.

I was so frustated from this issue that I used to use Windows iTunes for mass editing info, adding Lyrics etc and then transfering songs to Mac. This tip has alleviated my pain!!

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.
