Macbook air can't connect to wifi but at the same time is connnected.

Hey there fellow mac users, I got myself a tiny problem around here.
My mid 2013 mba is connecting to my wifi at home, but when it's done connecting (and shows it's connected at the network panel) it doesn't load anything from firefox, safari, steam, apps, twitter etc etc. The problem lies within my mba I think, because all our other devices, (windows laptops, android phones, windows pc's and our ipad) can connect to the wifi and actually use it.
Here's a few things I tried :
I tried turning it on and off (basic everyone does that)
resetting the router which I am connected to
creating a new wifi location
using different dhcp adresses (i set it to 8.8.8.8. to test it with google)
and as a final thing I heard one of my friends worked around with something on the hardware (a 1453 thing Idk what it does but it didn't fix it)
Is there someone with enough knowledge of internet connectivity on Macs willing to help?

I'm a pretty experienced Mac and WiFi user, but this one has me stumped.
I was recently waiting for my car to be serviced and tried to connect to the dealer's free WiFi network (Sonic via ATT broadband). My iPhone 4s and my iPad3 had no problem signing-in to Sonic (OK'ing the terms) and accessing the internet, but I could not connect using my MacBook Air (model 4.2). I tried a number of things (e.g., refreshing the DHCP address, turning wifi off/on, etc.) - none worked.
The person at the dealership said, "Macs seem to have a probelm connecting."
FWIW, I have no problem connecting to my home, my work, and other WiFi networks on any of these devices.
Any ideas about why my iPhone and iPad can connect to the Sonic WiFi and my MacBook Air can't?

How can I connect 2 bluetooth headets at the same time?

I have a I Pod Touch 4G. I got it to use on my Gold Wing GL 1800 trike on trips. I am using a Sena SMH10D as a bluetooth headset. The touch recognizes my headset and my wifes too. Problem is that it will only send music to one or the other. How can I send the music to both headsets at the same time?

Ports on a New Air can it handle VGA and Ethernet at the same time

I am looking at buying an Air 13". When I configure it in the store it shows me the option to buy both a Miniport VGA adapter and a Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter but looking at the Images on the site I cannot see a Miniport for the VGA. I need to have both to work effectively, Can someone confirm.

The MacBook Air has only got one Thunderbolt port, so as you want to connect two peripherals that require a Thunderbolt port, you need a Thunderbolt hub.

My husband and I like to watch movies on our iPad when we are traveling. I have a splitter for regular wired headphones but this year for Christmas we both got blue tooth headphones and would like to use those on the plane rather than having to use the wired.

Try resetting your modem. Power it down. Wait a moment, then power it up again. While it resets, do not change what is connected to it.
In another, though unrelated article, Apple recommends the following:
If you have configured your Wi-Fi base stations in the past, it may be helpful to do a factory default reset of each Wi-Fi base station that will be part of the wireless extended network before you begin.
This step really ought not be considered optional for the configuration you propose. If the problem persists after resetting your modem, reset everything else too.

My computer will connect to wifi but not the Internet. It's not a problem with my router because I've tried other devices on the same router and they work. I have also tried my computer on other routers and there is still no Internet connection. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like you are able to successfully connect to your Wifi network, but cannot get internet access.

This section in particular since you have Mountain Lion installed:

Use the Wireless Diagnostics application included with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.4 and later to identify and resolve Wi-Fi issues. For further information, please see About Wireless Diagnostics.
It is a built in troubleshooting tool to help diagnose and repair network issues and should help you resolve this issue.

Being connected to your wifi network is one thing. Being connected to the internet is another thing.
Try rebooting the router. Just pull the power for a few seconds. No settings get lost.

Can i power my iphone from the mains and connect to my mac at the same time

Here is my dilemma, my daughter dropped my wifes iphone in the bath and it will now only power up when plugged into the mains. When plugged in it cannott find the sim and according to the local apple store the wifi antenna is also broken.
We are not bothered about the phone it is the 1500 photos and videos of our girls which we dont want to lose. The phone hasnt been backed up recently and she is not registered with icloud so that is out the window.
So, i thought that if the phone could be powered by the mains and somehow connected to my pac at the same time i could perhaps get the photos synced and then the phone can be traded in at the store for a £119 replacement, thank you by the way Apple!!! you pay full retail for a product (£419) and all you get told is "your phones knackered, that will be £119 please"
It worht pointing out that the USB doesnt turn the phone on when connected to the mac.
Is there such a cable in existence which has two usb leads from the iphone dock connector??
I just cant beleive that the photos and videos cannot be accessed and saved by a company that always tells us they are cutting edge and ahead of the rest of the market, especially as the phone traded in will get, repaired, wiped and sold on as a refubed phone, if they can do that they can get us our files off.
Anyway, any advice, assitance, product reccommendations would be very very welcome.

How, exactly, would you propose connecting it to both an AC power adapter and your computer when it has only one dock connector? If you don't want to set it on fire, I wouldn't try.
If it can power on when on AC power AND it can connect to either the cellular network or WiFi, plug it in and power it on and e-mail the photos to yourself. Not the most elegant solution, but it beats losing all of them. I assume you were not in the habit of backing up very often.

Can I have my Time Capsule wifi and my Verizon router wifi on at the same time?

I want to have my verizon wifi on at the same time as my time capsules wifi but I don't know if it interfere. There's an app that you can use as a remote for your cable box but you need to be on your routers wifi.

Suggest that you run a few speed checks on both wireless networks with a computer in same room as the wireless router using a site like www.speedtest.net on your browser.
If you are getting close to your plan speeds, then you likely do not have interference issues.
Most routers will scan to find the best available channel to use, so assuming that your equipment is working OK, things should be OK. Try to keep the Verizon router and Time Capsule at least 6-8 feet, or a few meters from each other.
This assumes that you are not living in a crowded situation like an apartment complex, where intereference is pretty much a fact of life due to the very limited number of wireless channels that are available.

You're already on the right track with toggling airplane mode, but there are several other steps you can take to resolve the issue.

Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

hi, the app is not "shared", it works as if you bought the app twice with different accounts, only you paid it once. they should have 2 different villages since they're on 2 different devices.
