MacBook and Air have Glossy Screens. Will Apple cancel Matte with the Pro?
When the new MacBook Pro comes out, you think Apple will only release it in Glossy Screen, or still provide it's users with the choice to go Matte?
How many people here who have the current MacBook Pro have either the Matte or Glossy MacBook Pro?
I along with all my other colleges are anti-glossy screen, we work in bright environments and it is extremely hard to almost impossible to work with glare.

Because the MacBook Pro is one of Apple's 'professional' products I think the matte screen will always be an option as Glossy screens can make it hard for those in creative fields to match correct colours etc..

I updated our iPad a week ago to 8.1 (12B410) and since then most apps will not close down with the 4 fingers swiping in. The only way to close them down is to hit the middle bottom button twice then swipe upwards. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?
This has been happening to me as well with an iPad 3 running iOS 8.1. This is what I do and it works for me. Toggle the setting for Multitasking Gestures off and then on again, Settings>General>Multitasking Gestures>Off. Then toggle it on again.
I have to repeat the sequence from time to time as I have not found a permanent fix. I think that iOS 8 is by far the buggiest iOS release that I have used since I have owned an iOS device. -
if i buy a new ipad and bring it to England will it still work with the different voltages and the 3G/4G?

CDMA isn't any use here as there aren't any UK CDMA based carriers, they are all GSM/sim card based (I'm not aware of any CDMA carriers in Europe). As the AT&T version appears to support an extra 4G LTE band then that might be the better one. -
Apple pay is great feature introduced with the new iphone's. But for 5s users who are not gonna upgrade this year, apple is a requirement. Sure they can use it via apple watch. But apple pay with the online payment system can be used via the touch id, i feel.. Apple should make a note of this and enable it for users.
Probably not, as the 5s doesn't have NFC capability.

Screen will not turn ON with the l505d gs6000
Cant get the screen to turn on. It is completely black. I'm not a techie so I'm not quit sure what to do. I read a post about using the FN key with one of the F keys as well as turning off & taking the battery out. Tried it and nothing happened. The laptop is powering on and I can hear the fans turning but the monitor itself won't turn on. Any suggestions or advise? I do have issues with it over heating too.
If you shine a light on the screen or look at an angle, can you see anything?

ever since they got the 6.1 my service for has gone down the drain ive had my iphone trade 2 times and it still has the same problem. it still keeps saying that i have 1 or 2 bars of service and most of the times it says NO SERVICE on the top right corner of the iphone 5. this ***** badly.
yea this really ***** because before the 6.1 ever came out my iphone 5 had amazing service always on LTE AND 5 BAR SERVICE FULL IN OTHER WORDS... but since this game down ive had my iphone change 3 times already for the same problem... im thinking about going to andrio8id

Will Apple TV1 sync with the latest version of iTunes?

Problem solved. It turns out the ipod could not sync with iTunes because the original library was created on a different computer, my previous computer.
I didn't come across any reference to this being a problem in the Apple support guides and notes. -

If another person or company serviced your iPad, your warranty has been voided. Apple will do an out-of-warranty exchange. Have you contacted the original service provider, and complained?

i have a late 2011 macbook pro and i don't have the airplay icon on my menu. Everything is on the same network and i have a black mini apple Tv. it is either 2nd or 3rd generation. No, they didn't at as a matter of course and they don't now. The only plan they offer for the iPhone 4S is AppleCare+.

You would have to send your iphone to someone you know in Canada, then that person would have to get the iphone to Apple.

yes you can do it and not void the warranty. Those are the only hardware changes that Apple permits. Instructions on how to upgrade the ram and remove and replace the hard drive are even included in the owners manuals for MacBook Pros.
