The MacBook keeps on shutting down for no reason

Well my MacBook is acting kind of weird lately. It'll constantly shuts down for no apparent reason and when I do turn it back on, it would turn on but shuts up right after. It does this about 5 times. I do not DL musics, movies and etc on this laptop. I just don't know whats wrong with it.
Please helpI've had the exact same experience. About two weeks after getting my Macbook (in November) it started shuting down randomly with no warning. After a quick search on the net I found that this was a well documented and fairly widespread issue with Macbooks.
There are whole websites dedicated to it including 'autopsy' photos of Macbooks showing detailed images of the, apparently, faulty hardware that causes the problem and the changes after the repairs. It seems the only real fix to the problem is to have Apple replace these bits of the hardware (seems they are now replacing heatsinks and insulating some wires for heat).
I've updated all the firmware ect. and the guy from Apple Care walked me through resetting the PRAM, but the shutdowns continued the next day...
If you phone up Apple they seems to imediately recognize that it's a problem and schedule for you to send it in for repairs. That's where I'm at now and I'm hoping it will get done fast. I'm new to Apple (just swiched from a PC) and must say that as a new customer I'm really upset that they would sell me a computer that had a very well known and documented flaw (unforuntely I only found that out after I bought it and found the problem myself). People had been reporting these problems for months before I purchased my computer. Now I suppose my opinion Apple, after having switched from PCs, will be largely based on how well the customer service deals with this issue, their customer relationship management and how fast my Macbook gets repaired and returned.

Toshiba Qosmio X500-12N Shuts Down/Restarts for no reason
As the title says. This started happening some months now. It always happens when I play games, watch Twitch.tv streams or watch XBMC. I took my laptop to the local Toshiba store and told me that the fans were faulty and needed to be changed. They wanted to charge me 300 dollars for it so I decided to order a brand new heatsink with fans included from the internet for 100 dollars. I changed the whole heatsink with a brand new one and it keeps shutting down. They also said that there might be a problem with the hard drivers and that's what causing the problem. What do you guys think is the problem?

I experience this issue before when im playing LOL [Legends of League] my laptop shuts down/restarts for no reason while im playing the game.
I tried to install the latest directX support for my video graphics and update the latest version of my video graphics.
Patch the latest video graphics driver support for the game. If you are using ATI or NVIDIA you can directly go the this website to download the latest video driver.
Until now it works perfectly fine w/o a problem.
But what if the issue still persist?
I might say that you need to do system recovery.

I looked in console and its saying that it may be because of Sophos Anti-Virus, i deleted and uninstalled all traces of Sophos but looked in console and this is some of the lines coming up:

Restarting for no reason problem in C6-00
I just bought a new c6-00 two days before and I loved using it. But unfortunately I have come across main problem which is it started restarting for no reason while using it. I installed a software update which it recommended in mobile and tried again. Was there the same problem. So tried re installing the firmware via ovi suite and still having the same problem. I have no idea what to do. Can you please solve this problem. Is it a hardware issue.
there has been many threads on this error you should send the device back to point of purchase for replacement or a nokia care point.

Today for no apparant reason, my macbook pro has been restarting itself.
Has happened 8 times so far, very frustrating since I keep losing whatever I was working on at the time.
L/top runs windows xp because 2 programs I use for work ( CAD and Mapinfo ) don't work on Macs.
Anyone got any bright ideas why this is happening.

Thunderbolt Bus:MacBook Pros don't run iOS. 13B42 says you are running Mac OS X 10.9.1. But yes, the graphics chip is a likely culprit. You may be able to clearly identify it with the hardware test for Intel Macs.
This hardware test is built-in if your Mac is newer than July 20, 2011. Otherwise you may need to call AppleCare for the original discs if they are missing.
The other thing that looks odd is the repeated instances of the USB 2.0 hub and the Logitech mini-receiver. Do you actually have multiple of each, or is that just a glitch of the report?
And you actually have 23 Bluetooth devices?

2014 Macbook Air turns off intermittently for no reason.
Several days ago my Macbook Air started completely shutting down randomly, even if I've got 95% battery. It doesn't go through a shutdown cycle or anything, just suddenly a black screen. I'm usually able to just turn it back on but there have been a few instances where I can't get it back on. The only way I can get it to come back on after that is a combination of dumb luck and endless SMC resets. It seems that I don't have this issue when the laptop is plugged in to the charger.
From my perspective it seems as if there's a software issue. The battery is fine and the charger works fine. It almost seems as if somewhere along the line the software screws up and for whatever reason thinks that the battery is dead, which would explain why It doesn't happen when I'm running off of an external power source.
Any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

My iPhone restarts for no reason
Hi. My iPhone restarts for absolutely no reason. It happens 2-3 times per day. Still, it is annoying. It can be anytime. Usually it happens when I start using it, when I slide to unlock, or when I push the top button and push the button on the headphone to start listening to music. I've tried to restore, update. First I had 1.0.0, I had this problem. Then restored to 1.0.2, still had. After that updated to 1.1.1, still this problem. I don't know what to do. I've been to all the forums, nobody seems to have this kind of problem. Please, do help me. I need my iPhone to work properly.

My iMAC restarts for no reason?
Almost daily my computer restarts in the middle of ann application for no reason. The screen goes blank and then the Apple logo appears followed by my logon logo.

Keep needing to RESTART my ibook
About every 10-15 minutes i get a message that I need to restart my ibook..
when i restart all is ok..but in about 10 minutes I get the same message
any ideas as to how to correct this?

Check the boot disk for errors.
Restart your iBook while holding down the C key, pressing the power button and inserting your restore disk all at the same time. An Installer window will open, but do not proceed with any installations. Instead, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities > Disk Utility. In the Disk Utility window click First Aid, and then click Verify. If Disk Utility reports errors, click Repair. When Disk Utility is finished, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Disk. Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart.
--- Since you are running 10.5.6, you can use your Leopard disk rather than your restore disk which was originally for either Panther or Tiger.

My macbook pro keeps restarting for no reason.
My Macbook Pro is about 4 or 5 years old and has recently started randomly restarting. I get the rainbow spinning wheel a lot as well on certain webpages. I've recently had the hard drive replaced after a problem with burning.

The routine hardware diagnostics used by service providers do not detect the fault. There is a specific test for this issue that Apple calls "VST" (for "Video Switching Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the fault is present.
You may be quoted a price of about $300 (in the U.S.) for a "depot repair," which involves shipping the unit to a central repair facility and takes about two weeks. For that flat fee, anything found wrong with it should be fixed, not just the logic board.
Sometimes the replacement part is also defective, so be prepared for that possibility. If you decide to pay for a new logic board, test thoroughly during the 90-day warranty period on the repair. Some owners have reported that they went through as many as three replacement boards before getting one that worked.
