MacBook Pro Airplay geht nicht

hallo zusammen, kann mir jemand erklären wieso die übertragung des Schreibtisches auf den fernseher nicht klappt? os x mountain lion ist installiert, apple tv vorhanden und das Symbol wird auch oben angezeigt aber es geht trotzdem nicht,es werden auch keine monitore zur auswahl angezeigt, könnt ihr mir helfen, danke

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch and I have the same problem that you reported. I dont have the AirPlay icon in the top of the screen and I dont have a selection for it in System Preferences - Displays.
Did you have any luck finding a solution.

Yes, it normal. The "other" catagory is a very wide definition. This includes the OS itself, your swapfile and sleep file, but also temporary files, spotlight index, and even your downloads, documents, calendars, emails. Basically everything that doesnt fall into the other categories. Nothing to worry about.
The sleepfile takes up most space in your case, as it's always the size of your RAM. When your macbook is asleep, there is a copy of the RAM in the sleepfile, so it will be fine when your machine runs out of battery charge while its asleep. For example, when you have 4 GB ram, the sleepfile is 4 GB. And its 8 GB when you have 8 GB ram. The swapfile can take up large amounts of space aswell, when nessesary.

I have a MacBook Pro (Early 2011) and a 3rd generation Apple TV. Both are updated and runing in the same network. Hoever, I can manage to enable airplay. I don’t find the mirroring menu and in the display settings I’m not allowed to change to the apple TV. On itunes I see the airplay iconbut nothing happen.

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

MacBook Pro, AirPlay and a Bose Sounddock 10

Not quite sure I understand this:
Using an iPhone 4 paired with a Bose Sounddock 10 ( using the Bluetooth Adaptor ) the Sounddock appears in the AirPlay menu from within the iPod app, selecting it streams the music beautifully.
Paired the Sounddock 10 with my MacBook Pro via Bluetooth. Streaming works directly to the Sounddock from within iTunes absolutely fine.
BUT what I don't understand is why the Sounddock does not appear under the AirPlay menu as per the iPhone ?
Can anyone shed any light on this or explain it to me ?

The Sounddock does not communicate or receive airplay information via bonjour on your wifi network. This is not supported in any bose products to my knowledge. Bose would (in my opinion will) have to implement the airplay framework to show up without an airplay enabled proxy (macbook (air|pro) | i(phone|pod|pad)).
Now if airplay takes off like I really hope it does bose will have to implement this functionality to stay relevant, but you have no recourse but to connect to an airplay enabled proxy for the device you already own.

Macbook Pro & Airplay mirroring

I have a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Late 2011, Software Mac OS X 10.7.5, which is supposed to support Airplay. But I do not have any Airplay icon or options in System preferences > Display? Does anyone have the same issue? Any means to fix this?

MacBook Pro schaltet sich nicht mehr aus

Hallo ,), ich habe seit 4 Jahren ein MacBook Pro. Wenn ich ihn ausschalten möchte, erscheint kurz darauf ein weißer Bildschirm. Dieser verschwindet auch nicht, der PC schaltet sich also auch nicht mehr "von alleine" aus, sondern ich muss es erzwingen. Kann mir bitte jemand sage, woran das liegt und wie ich das beheben kann?

You could try Force Quit to select the ibook related application from the  Apple menu, to see
if that helps. You may also be able to press & hold the power button, until Mac shuts off... This
may not work if you'd set the preference for on-off button, to enable sleep instead of off.
Could be you may need to check & repair the computer hard disk drive as well as repair disk
permissions; you could do that by accessing Recovery's OS X Utilities, and run Disk Utility
to choose 'repair disk' and also, separately, 'repair disk permissions'. Then restart into OS X
from the main system in the computer.
Another different resolution, once you can make the computer quit, would be to try SafeBoot
where you start up (shift key held) until you see Login, then continue and use Disk Utility in
the running OS X, to repair disk permissions; when done, restart & let it boot naturally. You
can also use Console utility logs to see the Time/Date entries about the time of the problem.

IPad iOS 4.2 and Macbook Pro airplay

Hi all,
I currently have installed on my iPad iOS 4.2 beta 2, which includes the ability to stream audio and video to devices such as the airport extreme and Apple TV.
I have recently purchased the second generation Apple TV and am loving it so far.
I have two questions:
1. My iPad at the moment can stream audio to the Apple TV, but not the video as shown in the keynote presentation of the Apple TV, will these abilities become available when the full version of iOS 4.2 comes out or am i doing something wrong?
2. My computer at the moment won't stream any audio from the videos that it is playing through either the Airport Express or the Apple TV, which i find weird considering that the iPad can do it.
Will this also be available when the iOS 4.2 comes out? because i would love to be able to listen to the movies that i play through the good speakers instead of just on my macbook.

it is audio only at the moment.
however you should be aware that as you are using the beta you are under NDA, and should not publicly discuss it.

I figured it out! It was a firewall issue.
I use Handsoff and I checked it before i wrote here. There was no "user defined rule" that denied the communication but when i changed to "All rules" the program displayed several rules regarding AppleTV and its IP.
So if anybody has the same problem make sure you see all rules of your firewall and get rid of the AppleTV related rules generated by the program itself. You dont need to update to the latest iOS on the AppleTV!
I hope that I can help some people with this info to fix the problem.

Ich bin im Studentennetzwerk der TU-Ilmenau.
Bis vor einer Weile ging mein Apple-TV problemlos. Ich habe die Version 7.03. Doch dann hat sie sich aufgehangen und ich habe sie am PC wiederhergestellt (zurückgesetzt). Seit dem startet sie und es steht da, dass sie Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen will, doch das funktioniert nicht. Deshalb geht auch die Aktivierung nicht und auch AirPlay geht nicht. Die Box ist also grade komplett nutzlos. Ich habe schon alles probiert. Habe alles neugestartet (ATV und PC) und habe sowohl das LAN vom Studentennetzwerk als auch ein WLAN-Hotspot als Netzwerkverbindung genutzt. Ich hab einfach keine Idee mehr und hoffe hier kann mir jemand helfen.
Über baldige Antworten würde ich mich freuen!!

Hallo Sardun, zunächst vielen Dank für dein Tip. Das habe ich ausprobiert. Auch ohne Erfolg. Ich dachte halt, dass ein Akku (auch wenn nur Strombetrieb) trotzdem angeschlossen sein muss.
Dann werde ich mir wohl am besten ein neues Notebook zulegen müssen. Die Akkus sind schon recht teuer.

AirDrop geht nicht vom iPhone 6 auf MacBook Pro

mein AirDrop geht nur in eine Richtung. Vom MacBook Pro Early 2013 auf das iPhone 6 geht alles Prima.
In die andere Richtung wird das MacBook Pro leider nicht angezeigt.
Beide Geräte sind im selben WLAN angemeldet,
Bluetooth an beiden Geräten an
Handoff am MacBook Pro und am iPhone 6 aktiv.
Was kann es sein? Liegt es mal wieder an der Apple Software?

MacBook Pro 2012 abgestürzt, jetzt geht er nicht mehr an

Hallo alle!
Mein MacBook Pro ist gestern ohne jeglichen Grund abgestürzt, also plötzlich alles schwarz, kein Geräusch mehr! Als ich ihn wieder einschalten wollte, hat er garnicht mehr reagiert. Ich habe die SMC zurücksetzen sowie 15sek startbutton drücken versucht, aber es passiert nichts. Der Akku Aufladegerät leicht ganz schwach zuerst grün, dann blinkt er schnell orange. Den Knopf links für die Akku aufladeanzeige reagiert auch nicht. Das einzige was noch passiert, ist wenn man sein Ohr ganz nah am MBP ranmacht, dann hört man so ein hohes Pipen... Hat vielleicht jemand ein Idee? Termin bei der Genius Bar ist schon gemacht, aber es dauert und ich brauch ihn so schnell wie möglich wieder zurück! Vielen Dank!

ich bin ein kompletter Neuling und versuche seit einiger Zeit die Funktionen vom Apple TV zu nutzen. Aber wenn ich mein Macbook pro mit dem apple tv verbinden möchte taucht folgende Fehlermeldung auf: Beim Verbinden mit dem AirPlay-Gerät „Apple TV“ ist ein unbekannter Fehler (-15006) aufgetreten.
Ich verzweifle langsam - möchte mir gerne diverse Serien über itunes kaufen und dann über apple TV auf den Fernseher streamen... :-(
Wir haben es auch schon über den PC versucht - der direkt über Kabel im Netzwerk angeschlossen ist. Aber hier haben wir ein anderes Problem - und zwar laden wir itunes runter, installieren es, aber beim Doppelklick auf das Icon geht das Programm nicht mal auf!
Auch nicht, wenn ich mit der rechten Maustaste klicke und "Als Administrator ausführen" auswähle...
Manno... ist doch alles doof... ich erhoffe mir hier etwas Hilfe!

Also folgendes funktioniert 100%! ipv6 einfach abschalten.
Applications > Utilities > Terminal
To determine what are all of your Mac's network interfaces are, issue the following command: networksetup -listallnetworkservices
To disable IPv6 for wireless, issue the following command:networksetup -setv6off "Wi-Fi"
; to disable IPv6 for Ethernet, issue the following command: networksetup -setv6off "Wi-Fi"
To re-enable IPv6, use -setv6automatic instead

Macbook geht nicht in ruhezustand

habe ein macbook pro was seit ein paar tagen nicht mehr in den ruhezustand geht wenn ich den deckel schließe.
das weise licht rechts leuchtet dauern und 'atmet' nicht mehr wie bisher, die festplatte scheint zu laufen (leise geräusche).

Ja, tritt bisher bei jedem WLAN auf.
Die üblichen Eigenschaften in der Energieverwaltung bin ich bereits durch, da ist alles, wie es passt. Beim Ad-hoc QoS-Mode WMM deaktivieren sollte eigentlich nichts bringen (nutze ja kein adhoc-Netz, sondern über Router), aber ich probiere es einfach mal.
Einen Teilerfolg kann ich allerdings inzwischen durch einen Tipp verzeichnen: Ich habe im Netzwerk- und Freigabecenter noch einmal explizit Netzwerkerkennung und Heimnetzwerkgedöns deaktiviert und seitdem klappt der Standby so in 75% aller Fälle. Mediastreaming ist dort eh aus, soll angeblich auch damit was zu tun haben.

Neu gekauftes MacBook Pro startet nicht mehr

Ich habe heute ein neues MacBook Pro gekauft weil mein altes nicht mehr gestartet ist und zwar die Festplatte noch ging aber der Rest anschneidend nicht mehr.
Jetzt Habe ich das neue MacBook Pro ganz Normal gestartet und die alte Festplatte auch drauf gespielt. Dann habe ich noch die Software ge updatet. Durch das Software Update musste ja auch der Computer neu starten aber seitdem geht der Laptop nicht mehr an sondern Das Apple Zeichen kommt mit so eine grauem warte Zeichen genauso wie Es auch auf meinem alten kaputten Macbook war.
Kann es Sein das die alte Festplatte einem Virus hatte und der Jetzt auch auf dem neuen Laptop ist? Oder woran liegt das jetzt sonst? Was soll ich machen?
