MAcbook pro - Logitech  Bluetooth mouse

Hi there,
I have had a Macbook pro for 6-7 months now (lovin' it). I'm using it for graphics (adobe suite) at work. Connected to it is a Logitech V470 Cordless (Bluetooth) Laser Mouse. Everything was working fine. Suddenly the mouse started to lag horribly, goes slow, u cant even click on a button not to mention doing precise jobs like graphics. Could somebody help me out with this? Do i need to reinstall the system? (Leopard 10.5.5) Or maybe do a clean install? Would it help?
The things i tried so far:
Replaced the batteries in the mouse
Connected the mouse to another pc (it worked perfectly so it's not the mouse)
Installed the setpoint(hate them) drivers (did not help)
Uninstalled the setpoint drivers
Tried to turn off the airport card - didn't help
Pleas help me it's sooo annoying.
Thanks in advance!
Steve

While I'm not 100% satisfied with it, I recently switched from the puny mouse to a microsoft wireless laser 8000 (Bluetooth) and for the most part I like it. I haven' yet experienced any lag, it tracks better over surfaces like bedding, sofas etc. than the mighty mouse, and while I have yet to figure out how to program the side to side functions of the scroll wheel to act as 'back' and forward' buttons when browsing, many of its 5 buttons can be integrated into OS X. For instance, pressing the scroll wheel down yields the same effect as with mighty mouse: all app windows are pushed to sides to reveal desktop. The two more awkard side buttons can be used for expose or spaces, and lo and behold, the bloody mouse has a right button as well as a left, unlike that white horror I paid $70 for through Apple.

  • Macbook Pro RD Bluetooth mouse for design in bootcamp

It is a compact gaming mouse that can be conected eighter by wire or bluetooth and I think it would be a good choice.
Did anyone experienced or own/owned this mice ?
Or does anyone have better examples of good quality wireless mices for design ?
Or if anyone knows how to make the magic mouse have a good respond to my comands in bootcamp ?

  • Ipad 2 can't see logitech bluetooth mouse M557

    Hi,
I made sure that this mouse would connect to my ipad 2 before I bought it and other bluetooth equipment. My iPad sees and connects to everything else but not the mouse. I am able to connect the mouse fine to my HP laptop.
I've checked the Apple website ant this logitech bluetooth mouse M557 (http://www.logitech.com/en-ch/product/bluetooth-mouse-m557) should connect to Mac OS and IPad 2.  Is that simply not true or am I doing something wrong.  I've checked the driver is up-to-date via laptop, I've restarted everything several times and I've tried googling to see if others have had an issue. The only think I've found is a way to "hack" my iPad but i REALLY don't want to do this!!
    Can anyone help me please?
    Thanks in advance!!

    Anyone?

  • Is it possible to transfer photos, files from iphone 5s to macbook pro via bluetooth?

Before I got the iphone 5s, I was using a Nokia phone.  I was able to transfer photos, files from my Nokia phone to macbook pro via bluetooth connections.  It was very simple and POSSIBLE (even though apple support staff said it was not possible to do so).  My macbook pro does NOT need to be paired with Nokia phone as long as it can DISCOVER the nokia phone and vice versa.
Hence, after i got the iphone 5s recently, I'd expected both devices (iphone 5s and macbook pro) to communicate and connect via bluetooth as easily as Nokia phone.  However, I was disappointed to find out the iphone 5s kept "searching" for discoverable device even though my macbook DISCOVERED the iphone!!  Thus, I was NOT able to transfer any files from these two devices.
Any apple technical people care to explain why BOTH are apple products cant work?  A Nokia phone and macbook can.  Very strange, isn't it?

Althought, you can use bluetooth to transfer photos, files from iPhone to Macbook,However,it is so slowly,if you want to quickly copy photos/files from iPhone to Mac,you can use tools or software to help you, such as iStonsoft iPhone to Mac Transfer,This is a very professional tool,Hope this helps!

  • Can't pair iPhone 5s with Macbook Pro via Bluetooth

I have an iPhone 5s and Macbook Pro with retina display (running on iOS 8.0.2 and Yosemite respectively). For some reason, my iPhone can never see my MBPr but the MBPr can see the iPhone. Pressing the "Pair" button on in the Bluetooth setting panel in OS X will trigger the pairing confirmation to show up on my iPhone. After confirming the pair request, the devices remain connected for no more than 2 seconds. Then they just disconnect. (The status is "Not connected" underneath my iPhone on the Devices list in OS X)
This has been bugging me for a while, even before I upgraded to iOS 8 and Yosemite. I was hoping the upgrade will solve the issue but apparently not. My iPad  on the other hand has no problem in connecting and remaining connected to my MBPr. That's just baffling.
Just some context: the reason why I wanted to connect my MBPr and my iPhone via Bluetooth is because I want to use my my iPhone as the hotspot. Yes, I can use the USB cable, but can't blame me for trying the wireless route (And no, connecting via wifi doesn't  work)
    Any help is appreciated!

  • Chromebook 14 & Logitech Bluetooth Mouse

I'm trying to operate my HP Chromebook 14, with a Logitech Bluetooth Mouse.
    The Chromebook model is 14-Q063cl.
The Logitech mouse model is M-RCQ142
The Logitech Mouse is recognized, and works correctly for a while, then randomly stops working.
It is necessary to Disable Bluetooth then re-"Enable" Bluetooth on the Chromebook, to get it to work again (for a few minutes).
    What is the problem?

Which model are you using? I am using the Logitech  Performance MX.

    hi
for some time now I have been using a logitech V270 bluetooth mouse with my Mac Pro which has a bluetooth 2.0 card installed. all works fine except that when i restart my Mac Pro the mouse is generally not automatically detected and i get the 'bluetooth mouse setup' screen with the message 'there isn't a mouse connected'. i then need to press the reset button on the mouse and go through the usual connection procedure.
i wonder i anyone has any advice as to how i can get this set up so that the Mac Pro automatically connects
    thanks

    Hello all -
I found a solution to this by using Bluetooth Explorer. I had previously tried this and it didn't work, however I realized that I was using an old version of Bluetooth Explorer! When I downloaded the newest version from apple, it worked like a charm and I was able to select which Bluetooth adapter I wanted to use. Switched it over to the USB dongle and it works perfect now. No more skipping mouse, woo hoo!

  • Macbook pro 2012 bluetooth problem with magic mouse

I have a MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 running Mac OS X 10.7.4
It's two days old and Bluetooth has stopped working.. I use bluetooth for my apple magic mouse.
I know it's the Bluetooth app and not the mouse as I changed the mouse batteries and double checked it with my old iMac.
The Bluetooth app has become sluggish and unresponsive.
I have restarted and logged out and in.
    Run permissions.
    Switched Bluetooth off and on.
    Scratched my beard.
    Any ideas or similar problems?

Not sure which Bluetooth app you are referring to ...
    Try deleting Bluetooth preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
    /LIbrary/Preferences
    Click Go
Move the   com.apple.Bluetooth.plist   file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Now open System Preferences > Bluetooth and try re "pairing" the mouse.

  • Macbook Pro Keyboard and Mouse Unresponsive

I have a 2007 Macbook Pro that has been working wonderfully for several years. This evening, I restarted the computer for the first time in a couple days, and when reaching the login screen my keyboard and mouse were no longer working.
I forced a restart several times with the power button, but nothing changes. I am able to boot into safe mode using the shift key during startup, but even in safe mode the keyboard and mouse don't work.
Additionally, I can boot into my Windows Bootcamp installation by holding down the alt key during startup and the keyboard and mouse work fine there.
So clearly this is a software issue. Is it possible that my OSX installation got some sort of bug that is causing this? Is it possible to run the System Update for previously installed updates without access to the keyboard and mouse, and without being able to get past the login screen?
Unfortunately, external keyboards and mice don't work either, and everything works when booted into Windows

After reading several forums it is evident that there are problems with mouse and trackpad on OS 10.6, particularly the most recent updates. I find, for example, I could not rename folders or files using the trackpad but had to go to GET INFO and change names there. With a mouse the renaming of files and folders works fine. However, I just purchased a Logitech wireless mouse and if the computer goes into sleep mode when you wake it selection of menu items or windows becomes impossible. All one can do is force quit applications or do a forced restart. I'm trying different things. At first I had the mouse on a USB hub. I'm now going direct to the USB port. I've also shut off Bluetooth, since I noticed someone recommended that. Also, I'm not sure if it is the battery life on the mouse that can cause the problem, i.e. the battery running low quickly. If anyone else has any ideas please post or tell Apple to get off their behind and straighter this stuff out.

  • Logitech Bluetooth Mouse

I'm new to Mac, and have just ordered a MacBook Pro. I'd like to get a wireless mouse to use with it, and am considering the Logitech V470 Bluetooth Notebook Mouse (comparing it to the Logitech VX Nano USB Mouse). I'd appreciate any suggestions on which would work better. Thank you.

i'd suggest avoiding Logitech mice. i've had several over the last few years and they are always let down by Logitech's sub-par drivers.
    i order a BT600 from RadTech and i'm loving it. http://www.radtech.us/Products/BluetoothMice.aspx

  • Macbook Pro + Logitech Wireless Adapter interrupting sound

Hello, I have a problem with wireless streaming of my music via Bluetooth from MacBook Pro 13" Retina Late 2012 to Logitech Wireless Bluetooth Adapter. I use Harman Kardon Soundsticks III (probably irrelevant but just to clarify). I don't have any problems with connection but there are some interference when I stream the music. There are random 1-2 sec interruptions and after that the sound is a bit delayed (especially visible while watching a video) and as you can imagine it is extremely annoying. I don't know how to explain this because the adapter itself works fine. I tried to connect my iPhone 5 to it and everything works flawless. The distance between adapter and MacBook/iPhone is the same (about 4-5 feet). Have any of you ever experienced that kind of issue? Is there any way to solve it? I'm really hoping you can help me out because now the adapter is pretty much useless to me. Thanks!

Just make sure it is exactly the same as the one on the MacBook Pro:

  • I cant pair my iphone 5c to my macbook pro via bluetooth why is that?

Ive tried several time to pair my phone to my laptop but it wont pair, it says "failed" or "unsuccessful" pair and i want to know why.
I first noticed when i was trying to connect my phone to use it as a remote for keynote but it wouldn't connect.
then i tried an app called "remote mouse" and that wouldn't connect to my laptop either after following all the instructions.
I can easily Airdrop stuff back an forth. thats not a problem.
I see my iphone on my mac when searching for devices in Bluetooth but it won't pair.
I changed the settings in keynote to enable a remote.
I've changed my system preferences under "Security & Privacy" to allowed  "Keynote"and "RemoteMouse" access to control my computer. did nothing.
My main concern is getting to work my iphone as a remote for Keynote
    Iphone 5c
    iOS 8.1.3
    Macbook pro
    I have Yosemite 10.10.2

The iPhone and Mac do not BT pair with the one exception of BT tethering.
The Keynote remote feature uses WiFi. See this support article for information: Using Keynote Remote - Apple Support

Anyone have any idea or steps or fixes to my bluetooth issue? While at the office, I was trying to tether my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 5 via bluetooth. My MacBook will see my phone, I attempt to pair, PassCode comes up on both devices, numbers match, but then my phone will say " The Bluetooth network is unavailable.  There was an error connecting to your device's network. Make sure network access is enabled and available on your device" . I have checked my WFI network, Bluetooth network, and Personal Hotspot - Everything is set to "on" - I have reset the network connections on my phone - and I have also restarted my MacBook and reset the PRAM (press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys) but no change... this is quite frustrating.
