MacBook Pro startup time is taking 10 or more minutes!! Help!!!

My Macbook is taking 10 to 15 minutes to boot up. The apps also take a super long time to open. I've tried everything, hard erase, boot from installation disk, safe boot, zap pram, repair disk and permissions, single user mode, nothing works. Disk has plenty of space. Worked fine for a while after my hard erase. Then once I began to install things back on, the same issues started happening. I'm a designer, and I use adobe programs. These along with other apps just keeps bouncing, stops bouncing, then opens 5 minutes later. Please help
OS X 10.9
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Did that. They rad the free diagnostic didn't find anything wrong. So the just completely wiped everything out. Worked for a few days. Then once I started adding my apps and files back on, the same issues returned

If we look at above log i can see few seconds wasted on kCGErrorFailure. Can anyone suggest on how to remove this error from my MBP OS X 10.6.3?

Upgraded to 10.6.8 combo and still KCG errors exist.
Also i can now see new error after upgrade as below:

MacBook Pro startup time

Hi,
When my MBP is completely discharged and I connect my power adapter, it won't start immediately. I have to wait about 1-2 minutes before I am able to power it up.
This condition occurred recently, after my power adapter broke. I got a replacement for it and since then I got this problem. The replacement adapter works just fine.
Anybody knows what might be the problem ?

Not unusual occurrence. The power adaptor does not provide enough power on its own to start the computer with a nearly empty or completely empty battery. There's no problem.

First -- do the target disk backup. Somehow get a backup.
You might try booting to Single user mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1492 and removing the files in the command line. When you put files in the trash, the space is still used up until the trash is emptied.
using rm command removes it totally. Just be very careful because you remove the wrong file, and you have to relad the system

Can't backup macbook pro to time capsule

I have backed up IMAC to my time capsule no problems but when trying to back up my macbook pro it wont do it. The macbook pro sees the time capsule but once time machine commences you get error mesage advising problem encountered as macbook pro and time capsule not on same network?
Any ideas?

Are you connected to the TC by wireless?
Are you running Lion? Try using ethernet and turn off wireless.. what happens??

Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

Also why can i only EITHER have the capsule attched to the internet OR have it as my backup external hard drive?? Things are not running smoothly can someone please help?

MacBook Pro and Time Capsule after adding new wireless router

I have a MacBook Pro and Time Capsule (which functions wirelessly to router and computer). I added a new wireless router (netgear, not my idea) and had to change name of wireless network. Now Time Capsule flashes amber and does not show up in Airport Utility.
Do I have to set up Time Capsule from scratch? If so, if you can aim me to directions I won't have to waste tech support's time.
My additional question on a similar vein: I also have a Time Capsule (second time capsule) which is plugged into the wireless router using ethernet cable for use with a windows notebook running windows 7 which backs up wirelessly. Do I have to change anything on this Time Capsule (second Time Capsule) as a result of change in name of network (I've already adjusted computer to connect to network)?

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the page that opens.
Select the System keychain in the list of keychains in the sidebar of the window. If you don't see the list, click the down-arrow icon below the sidebar.
Then select Passwords in the Category list at lower left. Click the Kind heading in the list of keychain items to arrange it by Kind.
Locate the AirPort Disk Password with the name of your Time Capsule. Double-click the item and check the box marked Show Password in the inspector window that opens. You'll be prompted for the administrator login password. Make a note of the AirPort password, then close the inspector window and delete the item.
Also delete any other AirPort DIsk Password items for that same Time Capsule, which may have had a different name in the past.
Quit Keychain Access and try again to back up.

Black screen on MacBook Pro Retina Display after installing Moutain Lion. Need Help!

My macbook pro (retina) screen went black after I installed Mountain Lion.
I got a HDMI cable to another monitor and the image worked nicely there.
But i cant get it back on my MacBook Pro! I tried taking out the HDMI cable, restarting, searching on settings configs..
What should I do?
Are there any drivers i should install to get image back on my MacBook Pro Retina Display?

That helped me finding other people with similar problems.
But there is a major difference!
-They have a black screen after they login.
-My screen is black NOW! And I'm only using my BRAND NEW rmbp with the HDMI cable to my TV!
This isnt good at all and I would like to solve it asap..
I tried reinstalling Mountain Lion, taking out the hdmi cable and rebooting many times.
Until now, nothing!
Is my screen broken or maybe my video card has some problems?
I hope not! I just traveled from the US to Brazil and I dont want to search for an Apple Store here.
