  Hard 500 GB
And as you may now that 15-inch MacBook Pro include two Graphics/Display Card

please some one help!
thanks alot
and also it battery get low very fast

I don't have the 15" but I'm also of the opinion that the current notebooks get way too warm (sometimes I compile software (via Macports) and the thing gets HOT). In the past, I have used a laptop cooler from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/microsoft-notebook-cooling-base/Z3C-00 001
It's pretty good, in my opinion. To be honest, it does not bring down the internal temperature readings that you can get (via software like iStatMenus for example), but it did save one degree on the temperature reading "left palm area". The difference for the bottom plate is absolutely noticeable by hand.

  • 17" MacBook Pro (2008) Getting hot while being used

Recently I have been noticing that my macbook pro is getting very hot when it get used, especially if it is used for video or for extended time periods. The computer gets very warm, almost hot to the touch, particularly above the keys and on the bottom.
I installed the iStat Pro widget so I could monitor the internal temps, and the CPU and GPU heatsink are approaching 175-180 degrees Fahrenheit quite often. Is this a problem? If so, what are some suggestions?

    you would probably have a better chance at advice in the macbook pro discussions;

  • MacBook Pro Retina "Gets Hot when viewing RAW images"

MacBook Pro Retina Gets really Hot when viewing RAW images - somebody has this issue? Solutions?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
First, download Temperature Monitor and tell us the temperatures of the MacBook > http://www.bresink.de/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html
The MacBook Pro with Retina display is made of aluminum, so it's normal that it gets hot. However, if the temperature inside is very high, fans will turn on automatically. If this doesn't happen, it may have a hardware problem

  • MacBook Pro 2011 get hot and noise all the time and slowly ?

hi. why MacBook Pro get too hot and make a noise all the time i have Yosemite ,mac late 2011 and became very slow?

Games are very CPU/GPU intensive applications and will heat up the MBP.  That will result in the fans increasing speed in order to dissipate the heat.  This actually is an expected result and for the type of application, is 'normal'.
I you plan to play a lot of games, consider getting a cooling pad twhich will tend to mitigate the heating.
    Ciao.

When I turn ON my Macbook everything is OK, but after ~1h of doing whatever (surfin on net, listetning iTunes or watching movies) it's suddenly getting super slow. After that even scrolling down the websites is lagging and watching movies from HDD is impossible (glitchy and low fps). Macbook is not getting hot at all. Normal restarting doesn't work - it's slow as it was before (I need to wait long time to turn in ON again). Yesterday I decided to restart the SMC (Control+Option+Shift+Power Button) and after restarting Macbook it was OK again for another 1h.
    I've already tried:
    - cleaning with Clean my Mac 2
    - scan with ClamXav
    - restarting SMC

I'm updating OS X right now (downloading).

never heard of perian. its a quicktime player? would this help?
Give Allan's advice a try. I'm curious to see how that works for you.
4GB RAM could be part of the issue. Open Activity Monitor, select System Memory and see what it says for Page ins, Page outs, and Swap used.
Perian isn't a necessity, but those three together usually cover all the different formats you might encounter.

  • Mid-2010 Macbook Pro running very hot

    Hi all,
My mid-2010 Macbook pro is running very hot. On average CPU is 61-70 degrees Celsius, sometimes even more. I'm pretty bad at having lots of chrome tabs open and heavy multitasking, but even when I'm not temperature still ends up very high and fan rpm can get to over 6000. Heat seems to be concentrated to the lefthand side of the touchpad (battery area?). I'm running 10.9.3.
Current stats below from iStat pro widget (smcFanControl concurs with these temps), with only the following pic's activity running. Laptop currently balanced on two books (so airflow around the sides) which are in turn on my lap.
I have tried reseting the SMC with the shift-control-option-power method but it doesn't seem to have worked - instructions said to press and hold this, then release, then press power again to boot, but laptop boots up from this combination anyway.
Am I just doing something wrong or will this be an expensive trip to the apple store to fix?

    Hey happyhaskins,
If you are having an issue with your MacBook Pro running excessively hot, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

  • Please help, my macbook pro is super hot, how can i fix it.

please help, my macbook pro is super hot, how can i fix it.

I am guessing you have just bought a new macbook pro,  I did the same thing when I first unpacked mine.
You will get asked if you are using it on your lap, because they think that you are blocking the vents.
the macbook pro will get really hot around the E R T and F keys and  I O P and L keys and the metal strip between the keyboard and the screen.
I have found the graphics accelerator heats the machine up more than the actualy processor.
you should report it to apple care before your 90 days is up, they may or may not send you to a genius booking.  Just incase you have issues with your machine later due to the heat buildup early on, that way they have a log of the problem.
My macbook pro runs alot cooler than it did when i first got it, but still gets hot on heavy usage
You shouldnt really worry unless it shuts itself down as then you have some serious problems, when it gets hot u should be able to hear the fans running and it will prolly keep the temp aroun 101-104 c under heavy load.   If you can't hear the fans, shut it down and take it back to the store.
    Hope this helps you

  • Macbook Pro Overheating or HOT HOT HOT ????

Run the MBP for 30 minutes plugged or even un-plugged and it gets HOT !!!!Forget resting it on your Lap. Fried my knees!
Near the AC adapter and by the speaker grills you can not rest your hand. It is over 115 degrees hot. Has anyone had the same issues or is this defective and needs to be swapped out?

Some things are not CYA but, actually true.
"listening to your iPod at loud levels could cause
hearing loss" is a perfect example. That isn't CYA
that's important information as it is 100% true. That
warning should included with every portable audio
    device.
If you need a warning like that to be written in a manual, you've got other problems. That's a perfect example of CYA. Stating the obvious for those too dumb to know better.
You can't just decide to ignore parts
of the manual you don't like and say yours is broken
cause you want it to be.
None of us want our MacBooks to be broken. :P
The Macbook Pro can get too hot for your lap. You
shouldn't use it there. By pointing this out, my
    comments are useful.
Pointing out that it was in the manual, yes, that was useful. Thank you. However, telling people to stop whining or insisting that people who may have a legitimate problem do not is useless.
I suspect anyone thats owned a
Powerbook would never say the MPB is too hot.
I've owned several including an 867MHz 12-inch PowerBook and a 1.5GHz 12-inch PowerBook. Neither was as hot as this bad boy.
I'm willing to accept certain levels of heat and can understand if it's normal for this laptop to be too hot for one's lap. However, the strange fan activity (or lack thereof) is concerning.

  • What is the best way to safeguard my files and pictures before I send off my MacBook Pro to get fixed?

What is the best way to safeguard my files and pictures before I send off my MacBook Pro to get fixed? I am running Mavericks and use an AirPort Time Machine to back-up all my files.

Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. You need at least two independent backups to be completely safe. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.
If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you know how to restore to an empty drive.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair
Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

    I'm confused about this.
First, I put the content where I want. Got it.
    Then delete it?
I don't have the room to put it where the application tells me to put it (not enough room on the HD), so I need to put the sample content on a external hard drive.
    Please advise.
