Macbook pro to my old apple laserwriter issue

This sounds insane. and pretty stupid, but i grew up with macs, i love them
anyways i have my old personal laserwriter NTr printer that i used to use with my mac IIsi. Well the thing is i think the printer still works. all i do is print out papers anyways and my 99 dollar printer by epson just crapped out on me. Is there anyway to hook up a dinosaur printer like that to a brand new macbook pro? I dunno maybe theres some macnerds out there who are facinated by older models out there that might know about this. but maybe i should just shell out 200 for a new printer anyways... i need a laserwriter anyways.
oh thats another thing, i dont think i can get toner cartiridges for htis thing anyways. haha
someone let me know if theres a way hahahaha.

If I'm correct, the LaserWriter NTR uses LocalTalk. For that, you don't need a USB to Parallels Adpater. You need an ethernet to LocalTalk adpater like the Asante iPrint. However, those things can be expensive at $100 apiece, I think.
If you go to dealmac.com, you could search for laser printers for around $200. Might be more worth it saving the $100 to buy a new laser printer.
I use a Personal LaserWriter 4/600 PS which uses LocalTalk. I connect it to my MacBook Pro using a Farallon ethernet to LocalTalk adapter.

Before I owned an Apple product, I had an AppleID (an AOL email address) I used with iTunes. When I got my first iPhone (and also MobileMe), I started using a me.com email address for my main email account and also for my AppleID. This has caused some confusion over the years and today I was updating my Support Profile and, much to my surprise, I realized my MacBook Pro was associated with the old Apple ID. I would like to have one Support Profile with all of my Apple products in the same place. you’d need to boot into Recovery mode by holding down ⌘R as your MacBook Pro starts up. When the OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. Run Disk Utility to completely erase your internal disk; after it’s been erased, exit Disk Utility and select Shut Down from the Apple menu. When you restart it, OS X Internet Recovery will redownload your MacBook Pro’s original version of OS X from Apple’s servers, and then install it. When you run it, the welcome video will play; reïnitialize it to your liking, associating it with your preferred Apple ID. When you log in, run Software Update to get it up to date in its installed version of OS X.

Logging into itunes store on each machine wth different Apple IDs is OK Autorising each others machines with the other Apple ID is OK. This is completley separate from Home Sharing
For Home Sharing to work you need to
File > Home Sharing > Create Home Share.
You need to select one of the two Apple IDs you are using and ENTER THIS ON BOTH MACHINES WHEN CREATING THE HOME SHARE.
Home sharing will then work

You can try to see if they will replace it, however there is some sort of acceptable amount of stuck pixels and they won't replace so I hear.
But that was a long time ago and things change.

I would trot back into the Apple store and have them fix the problem (or call Applecare with a warranty issue). There is no sense in you wasting your time trying to troubleshoot things on a new computer.

i-devices are intended to by synced with iTunes (iTunes --> device), not transfer things to iTunes. For transferring songs from i-device to computer see commercial software utilities (with the exception of iTunes purchases). Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing):

Macbook Pro no longer support Apple Cinema Display after graphic update 1.0

I recently updated my system to ver. 10.5.2 and after that I updated to graphic system 1.0. After that my macbook pro began to have several problems dealing with my 23" Apple Cinema Display.
1- if started in 'closed lid' mode it gives me a kernel panic (shaded screen) error during start up
2- if started in 'open lid' mode it boots fine but whether i decide to close the lid it fails to wake from sleep mode. It starts for one or two seconds and then it gets back to sleep.
So, I made a long time taking test during the weekend and after several "archive and install" I found that this issue is related to the leopard graphic system update 1.0. Somehow this update mess up the way that macbook pro deals with my Apple Cinema Display.
I hope that someone at Apple will address this issue toward a solution in a short time.
I appreciate any other experience in this sense by anybody.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro and the GPU is causing issues with Yosemite. There are a number of issues I have run across:
If I have four tabs open on Safari then I start to get a flickering on the screen from the GPU refreshing
When I leave the computer alone for more than 20 mins the screen saver should start -- what happens is that the screen goes to black. When I move the cursor I do not get the login screen. I have to reboot
FireFox Web browser will not run
I get issues with the computer running very slowly
I have already turned off the transparency option in settings. Any ideas??

Do you have more than one OS on the Mac?
You may want to look at something like http://bjango.com/mac/istatmenus/. This has a Free Trial window, but it is a commercial application. If there are any heat/sensor issues, this may help.
A SMC Reset or PRAM/NVRAM reset may also help.

to get to the Detect Displays button you have to hold down the Option key and the button appears.

You don't.
Need a internal optical drive and the Hardware Test on disks is old and outdated anyway.
Your machine has lasted a long time, congratulations, they usually only last about 4-5 years.
They get clogged up with dust and overheat, kills the video card, there is nothing you can do as it's hardware damage over time.

When syncing the iPhone and iPad with iTunes on your computer that is logged in with the Apple ID you plan on using on all three, the Apple ID should be transferred to the iPhone and iPad for the iTunes & App Stores on each device. If not, you'll need to sign out of the existing Apple ID on the iPhone and iPad followed by signing in with the Apple ID you want to use on both.
Keep in mind that all 3rd party apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account or Apple ID that was used to download the apps. With an app installed on your iPad and iPhone that was downloaded with a different Apple ID from the one you will be using now, you will need to use that Apple ID and password to install app updates for those apps. Not possible to transfer apps purchased with one Apple ID to another or to merge Apple IDs.
