MacBook showing up as offline in iCloud Find My iPhone

As the title says! I have iCloud turned on in settings and Find My Mac selected, and it shows up as offline. I'm connected to the internet and using it to check iCloud right now!

I fixed this by turning it off and then on again.
Go into your System Preferences, click on iCloud, and when that window comes up, scroll to the bottom to Find My Mac. Click the checkbox to enable.
If it is already checked, uncheck, confirm your password, then check it on again.

You can't. If its offline it can't be tracked. The device needs to be powered on and connected to an Internet connection to be trackable.

In order for a lost iPhone to be located you have to have set 'Find My iPhone' up on it before losing it, and it has to be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network (how else could it transmit its location) - if any of these conditions is not true then locating it is not possible. You can't use the serial number or IMEI number to locate a phone: the former is only useful to identify it as yours if it turns up, and the latter can be used by most service providers to block it, rendering it useless and preventing anyone from spending your credit.

IPhone isn't showing up in My Devices on "Find my iPhone" page

I recently lost my iPhone 4 at an airport (or on the plane). When I first got the phone, I installed the Find my Phone app connected through MobileMe, though I don't think it was installed at the time of losing it. Fast forward to now...
I've logged into Find my Phone (now hosted on icloud.com) and I can see my iPad listed under the "My Devices", but not my iPhone. The battery is now dead as I've called it, but shouldn't it still show up in the My Devices list on the Find my iPhone page?
I'm wondering, if my iPhone doesn't show up in My Devices on Find my iPhone, does that mean it has been wiped?

My Ipod touch was lost at school a few days ago, and when I went to icloud, i located and found where the person who has my ipod lives. The cops were called so they could retrieve it, but as to have proof i have none, because i have accidently removed my ipod touch from icloud Find My iPhone. Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

I'm using ipad mini and the iOS is 7.0.4. I used an Apple ID (called: A), and I activated my ipad, used iCloud & Find my iphone with this A account. But now I've changed address of Apple ID from A@.... to the new one: B@.... (just changed email address of Apple ID, not create a new ID), and then I signed out iCloud, old Apple ID, etc... on my ipad and signed in with new id B@.... Everythings seem OK, I can sign in/out iCould, turn on/turn off Find my iphone as well with the new one (B@...)
But I still have a question (and still confusing with it): What will happend when I restored my ipad? I mean my iOS is 7, so which Apple ID will be asked to re-activate my ipad after I restore it, old id A@.... (this one cannot be used now) or the new one B@...., please?

If you've succesfully changed the ID for iCloud and Find my phone, it will be your new ID you use if you need to restore it.

To add a device to Find my iPhone, just set up iCloud in your iPhone, Mac, iPad or iPod. To set up it in an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, update it to iOS 5 and configure it in Setup Assistant. My sons iPhone 5 was stolen out of his blazer pocket while in a games lesson, this was last period and on return to get changed find that someone from his class had stolen his phone from his zipped pocket. The phone had a password set on it and I have notified the police, school and also our carrier. The phone has been offline now for 32 hours, would this mean they have been unable to access the phone and switched it off? Is it possible for the phone to be jail broken while this password has been set. I am most angry that this has happened and the changing rooms are always locked while the lessons take place, so this is someone within my sons class that has stolen the phone. Being a Friday And last lesson the phone is long gone now but I'm hoping with the security measures we have put in place with the pass code etc.... That they won't be able to unlock the phone to use it. The phone was only 2 days old as my son had only just upgraded :(

Ipad is showing as offline when using "find my iphone"

I am having trouble getting my ipad to be located using find my iphone. This was working and has now stopped working (and did stop working prior to installing iOS 5 so im pretty certain its nothing to do with my software update the other day)
I have downloaded the app, location services are on as are push notifications and of course find my iphone is enabled. Ipad is definately on and connected to the net as its only the wifi version.
When i try to find it, it says that its offline. I have tried a whole lot of things so far and nothing as worked
- turned airplane mode off/on - restart - no luck
- turned push notifications off/on - no luck
- turned location services off/on - no luck
- deleted my icloud account and then added again - no luck
- deleted the app and downloaded again (clutching at straws at this stage!) and still no luck
I read somewhere that it could be to do with me recently changing my apple ID which i did a couple of weeks ago - the suggestion that i read was to change my apple id back and it should work. Problem is that my old apple ID was 6 letters long and no capitals, so i can't change it back even if i wanted to
Also what annoys my is that i can actually locate my iphone sweet as just not my ipad
