Macbook switch off without any reason...

hi there!
maybe that question was asked before and then sorry for this but my bad english don't allow me to look easily for older topics.
so here is the problem:
my macbook (10.8.5) often switch off even if i'm 70% charged (or more) if i'm not plugged. Then i can't put it on if i don't plug the macbook before.
i first thought that the battery was in bad ealth, but it's not (one and half year old, more than 75% of lifetime according to "coconut battery" software.)
I secondly thought that the processor was overheating, but by checking it's temperature, i know its not.
i heard that there was the same kind of problems on the 10.4.8 version generated by a kind of problem of transmission inside the computer (not sure exactly) and apple published a software whitch resolved that stuff. i got it but as it was for an older version, my macbook doesn't take it.
Do you know if there is a newer version of that software?

Two readings concern me:
full charge capacity (mAh) : 3078
cycle count : 465
That is a very low full-charge capacity, and a very high cycle count. When batteries get older, and their cycle counts get higher, they can report incorrect information to the system about, for example, how much charge is left. Batteries can also become less stable and less able to handle fluctuations in power demands. Apple usually states that their batteries should offer good performance for 300 cycles, and you have gotten many more than that.
I suspect you need a new battery.

I just see the start-screen with all the users and I had to sign with my user password. After the mac restarts, I had to start time machine again. Satellite A75-S229 often turns off without any reason, everything ok with the AC power, the battery is allways remaining 100%. What's wrong? maybe the battery is too old (about 2 years) and need to be changed?

Was the AC adaptor connected to the notebook during the automatically shut downs?
If yes then I dont think the old battery is a reason for the shut downs.
I presume this is a simply overheating issue. Did you ever clean the cooling modules in this notebook?
The notebook is about two years old and maybe a dust and debris inside the notebook could have a bad influence on the air circulation.
I think the professional fan cleaning will help to avoid the random automatically shut downs.

I hope that somebody can help, I have a notebook TOSHIBA C855-1CU
I installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a partition and WINDOWS 7 on another partition
the question is : if I turn off my PC from Ubuntu then stays turned off for about 4-7 seconds, and then switch on by it self without any reason!
Knowing that the same thing happens with my friends who have the same notebook .

I recognize this. Had the same issue with Fedora recently.
It is most likely a Kernel bug.
You can try the following:
- when running Ubuntu, remove the external power (unplug the AC adapter from the PC)
- shut down the unit.
Does it stay off now?
If yes, I am most certain that this is a kernel bug and is already solved upstream.
If You use Ubuntu 13.04 I believe this is sorted out.

Note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t post huge amounts. You need to hit the "reply" button on post to whom your responding too, it's hard to tell if your responding to me or someone else.
small button on the side of the computer and didn't lightting up( no reponse at all). is their any problems do think with the battery?
Usually if your battery is dead because it wasn't charged you can do the SMC Reset and then check the Magsafe if it's connected and showing the orange light, then let the battery charge up.
Once the battery charges up, the computer will boot normally and then you have to reset the PRAM, time, date etc.

I've never seen the Migration Assistant resume from sleep - for that matter I've never seen a computer go to sleep while MA was running. (If there's a next time, don't try this without the computer being plugged in.) You will probably have no choice but quit the migration and start over.

i am sorry that this is not a question in connection to the topic, but i have L300 - 17L laptop and from time to time it is shutting down (more specifically putting it self on stand by) without any reason.
It is not the cooler or anything else..
The battery is full, and that is happening while i am writing or working on the laptop generally!
The local service says that is nothing wrong with the laptop, i am so nervous, i cannot work , it is interrupting my work ..

So what happens exactly?
Does the notebook shuts down or goes into standby mode?
You said it happens from time to time this means that it would not be easy to replicated this issue and I think the technician was not able to replicate this is it right?
What applications are running if this happens?
Did you try to restore the notebook back to factory settings using the HDD recovery or Recovery disk? Do this!
Check also if your BIOS is up to date!

Leopard asked me for user password without any reason. I wasn't installing any software.. just surfing the web.

1. On your iPhone 4 press and hold both the button and the Home button for about ten seconds. After ten seconds you should see the Apple logo showing up.
2. Now try to run you phone again and see if it works.
If a hard reset the still can't get the device back to a working order.
1. Plug in the device to the cumputer and start iTunes.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake + Home for 10 seconds.
3. Once you see the Apple Logo appears, release the power and continue to hold down the home button for about 5-10 seconds. Look iniTunes and see if your device have shows up.
4. iTunes will notify you that you are now in Recovery mode. Click on OK to continue with the restore process.
5. Next press and hold on the SHIFT button and click on the Restore button. Select the latest IPSW file and the prompt appears.
6. iTunes should now attempt to get your device back to the manufacturer setting.
7. iTunes will later give you an opportunity to restore you content from the PC. Every time when you do a sync, iTunes makes a backup so you can choose the latest backup from the sync.
