MacBook Turns Off Now When Unplugged Since Lion Install

Ever since I upgraded to Lion when I unplug my MacBook it completely shuts off after only a few minutes of use. Battery only has like 44 cycles on it and seems to be fine. I also tried a SMC reset and the problem is still there. Any suggestions? This only happens when unplugged and running on battery power.

To verify the issue, Try booting to your Snow Leopard install disc and see if it has the same issue. If it doesn't then you know that Lion is causing the issue.
That will isolate it down to hardware or software.
IF it works: Then lion is to blame and you need to call apple with your findings. You have 90 days of complimentary support after buying lion.
If it does not work: It may be a hardware issue.
EDIT: If you have windows installed in Bootcamp, does it happen there?

Hi all, I've had this macbook for about 2 years now.
It had no problems at all. (I didn't use my macbook for like months)
Then I needed it for my school, so I installed windows 7 using bootcamp a few days ago.
and I've noticed that my macbook turns off immediately when it's unplugged.
i thought it is because of windows at first time,
but I booted on with Mac OS and it has same problem.
It just turns off immediately. and it won't back on until I plug it to charger.
Is it battery problem? or could it be anything else?

Sounds like the battery to me. Usually they don't like being left for months especially if fully charged.
Check the battery health
Click on the Apple icon at the top left corner of the screen
Click on "About this Mac"
Click on "More Info"
Under Hardware, click on "Power". This will show you information about your battery, including how many cycles the battery has been through, it's charging ability and so on.

If it is still acting up after a restore, you more than likely nave a hardware issue.

IPhone 4s turns off automatically when unplugged from charger

My iPhone 4s is on 7.3 and when I unplug it from the charger it randomly turns off. It could be completely charged at 100 % and would still shut off. It shuts off as is the battery is dying. I plug it back in and it says that it is charging, but the screen remains black. This problem has been happening since iOS 7.3 came out, and when it died I haven't had a chance to use my phone since. Any help?

Macbook turns off even when energy saver preferences are set to stay on

Hi all,
I would consider myself fairly experienced with OS X now but this has really got me. I am trying to leave my Mac on during the night, so I made sure that the energy saver preferences are set so that:
Computer sleep: Never
Display Sleep: Never
Put the hard disks to sleep when possible: Not ticked
Wake for network access: Not ticked
Automatically reduce....: Not ticked
Start up automatically: Not ticked
So as you can see it should have no reason not to stay on over night. Also I am using the power adapter.
Please if anyone could help it would be really appreciated. Thanks

So, what if anything is set under the "schedule" option in energy saver (which is the only energy saver option normally likely to actually shut it down, rather than send it to sleep, but not mentioned in your post)?
Does the shut down occur at a set time or erratically? (Check your logs to find out, if you haven't been awake when the shutdown occurs). You should also be able to tell from the logs whether it is a controlled shut down or a "crash"

Both my iPhone and I pad are not communicating together. They are glitch. You can be in a game or surfing the web and all the sudden the screen goes black. I have lots of memory and space. I cleaned history thinking it could be it. I also restored iPad as new device. The update messed it up. Becoming very frustrated with apple products. Help please!

When Unplugged my MacBook turns off

Like the subject says my MacBook turns off immediately after I unplug it. Also it continuously states that its calculating the battery. It shows the little plug inside the little battery outline and the plug's light is green. What should I do?

Try to reset the SMC (System Management Controller).
Have you done the battery update? About Battery Update 1.2. Depending on your model you may not need it. read the instructions.
If none of this helps I suggest you contact Apple support for more help. You may have a bad battery.

Could be - unusual problem. I don't think that there's much that we can do for your here - best to take your machine to your local Apple Store or an AASP for a diagnosis.

I tried two different charges I finally see a faint orange charge sign.
Is my battery dead? I have only had this MacBook for 3.5 years

Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you are running 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion or 10.9 Mavericks), then select Power from the left hand column of the System Profiler. Copy and paste the Battery Information from the top of the page back here.

more info, this happened after update to 7.0.2, and also wifi will no longer turn on since update. I took it in to apple store, it had one month left on warrenty, and they said that it would have had to get wet for this to happen.
