Macbook won't do anything after logging into account
I type my password in to log on to my macbook.
and it just goes normally as it would be logging me in but then it stops at the blue screen desktop background or w.e. and will not continue.
any help? or suggestions?

Hi
If you see a blank blue screen, you may have an incompatible login item. Follow this step to try and resolve.
- Shut down your computer and wait 30 seconds.
- Press the power button.
- Immediately after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key.
- Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple and progress indicator(You will see Apple and a gray screen for about 5 to 8 Minutes).
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences.
- Click Accounts, then click Login Items.
- Make a list of the login items--you'll need to remember them later.
- Select all of the login items and click Remove.
- Choose Apple menu > Restart.
This might resolve this issue.

After logged into our portal system, we are getting blank page with white space. This is not quite common for all users, few users able to view screens at portal systems.

Looks like the users not seeing anything have roles which does not have any content in them. Take any of these users and look for assigned roles in 'User Administration'. If there is no content assigned to these roles then assign some relevant content, else make these users part of the group that other users seeing content are part of.

Empty Screen after logging into portal
Hi,
I have installed SAPNetweaver 2004S, SP9 trial edition.
After logging into portal , Masthead and Tool area are visible and reamining part is empty screen . Toplevel navigation , detailed navigation, desktop innerpage are not getting displayed.
Can somebody please help me in resolving this.

The portal display creates problem when you try to access the portal using the IPADDRESS instead of the host name for the portal.
What you can do is make a entry in the hosts file for the portal server and then try to access the portal using the name given in the hosts file.
http://servername:<port>/irj
servername is the entry which you have given in the hosts file.
Dont use the IPAddress while accessing the portal, if by chance you are using it.
This shoud solve your problem.

Connect to Bex query after logging into Web service
Hello experts,
After logging into the web service, I see connections for all HANA and BW infoProviders.
If I click HANA OLAP connection, I see the "next" button. If I click connections to BW InfoProviders, the "Next" button is grayed out, I only have "OK" to click which takes me to the infoProvider.
I know if I choose "Local System", I can log into BW and find BEx queries.
Is this by design? Can't we get list of Bex queries under the connection we highlight somehow?

How do I verify my apple account when it won't allow me to log into my aol account in order to confirm it??
It's my grand moms iPad that she just got ... A lady came and set up her Apple ID and left the password on a piece of paper ... She wanted me to download some games for her so I tried and it told me to confirm my Apple ID account first and that a verification email has been sent to the account ... So I went to aol and used the Apple ID email and password thinking that's the right account and it won't log me in what do I do?

My mini won't allow me to log into FaceTime and I messaging it says connect to the internet but everything else that requires internet works.. I've reconnected to the internet, reset the iPad and I've changed the password to see if any of these things would help.

Reader doesn't need your credit card. You can sign into your account in the Adobe store and look in at your subscriptions. There may be something there to store your card information if you have a subscription service.

This just might not be a battery related issue. Since you have a PBookG4 running Leopard, which takes up a huge amount of hard drive space, make sure you have a minimum of 15% free space on the drive. I'm assuming your PBookG4 drive is 40GB? 60GB?
After you try Clea Rees advice, open a Finder window. The amount of free space is displayed at the bottom. You can also view this information by using Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities). Open DU, select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, then look down toward the bottom and you will see:
Capacity and Availability.
It's just a good thing to keep in mind when trouble shooting.

Hello all! I have a problem!! When I log into my account it takes me to the my desktop but will not load my desktop icons. It then returns me to the log in screen. I can however log into other accounts. I set up a new admin but cannot access my old files because I do not have permission. I've tried repairing permission (which fails). I've tried repairing permission through the install disc and it stalls...all day. The Mac HD appears to be ok when I verify Disk. I've also tried to just do a reinstall but it fails to. Any help would be greatly appreaciated! I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.7 on a MacBook.
also, I was able to log into it once briefly and It displayed Finder Quit Unexpectedly.This is just a guess, but it may work. First, back up all data if you haven't already done so. Log into a working admin account and launch the Terminal application. I'll assume that the name of the problem account is "fubar." Substitute the actual name for that one. In the Terminal window, very carefully enter the following command:
sudo rm ~fubar/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist
Try again to log in as fubar. -
I have chosen to fil migrate from old ibook to new MacBook Pro using Time Machine after establishing admin account. I now have two admin. accounts and wish to delete the later one and transfer files manually. I am worried I will loose both accounts. ??
Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.
