Macbookair keeps restarting every five mins

I have a mid 2012 macbook air that keeps retartedevery 4-5 mins. it will boot up fine and shut down without a problem but if i am working on or even if it is not doing anything it will shutdown without warning after about 4 mins. it makes no difference at all if the power cable is connected or not or whether the battery is at 100% or 20%
i have checked and rechecked the power and battery settings but even if they are set to never switch off, it still restarts after about 4 mins. ive also tried the smc reset (left side shift,control,option and power button held down) but that made no difference either
can anyone help?

Back up all data. Boot in Recovery mode and test. If the same thing happens, the machine has to be repaired. If it doesn't happen, reinstall OS X.

No. The warranty is tied to the device, not the individual & all iphone 4's are still under warranty.

Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Please find the attached running config and logs.Incoming and outgoing calls are landing on the gateway properly. But call stop working every five min.PRI is up and no error on controller E1.

Try to sync you phone with iTunes to create a new backup before it restarts. Also try to import your photos (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts if you can (sync them to iCloud in Settings>iCloud>Contacts>On or use an app like My Contact Backup). My iphone 5 keeps restarting every 2-3 minutes. its never been dropped or water damaged. I can hardly use it at all. The phone is only 4 months old bought brand new. Has this happened to anyone else? how can i fix this?

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

I bought a new MacBook Pro running Lion and am having problem using GTalk on iChat. I configured GTalk using both Jabber and Google Talk drop down but have had the same problem.

Bonjour might be easiest if you have another Mac to "Chat" with as we might be talking about Wifi Drops rather than a Server end issue.
Have you tried creating a Second Mac User Account for testing and trying it there ?

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Once you have Recovered your Device...

I listen to the radio via an app on my iPod touch, but every 45 min's or so the whole program stops and I have to reactivate the app, which is difficult in the middle of the night! Wifi connections is ok, iPod also fully charged. Please can anyone help me to sort this out? thanks!
