Where can I find info regarding creation of ads for email posting to email distribution lists? I need to know what standard iMac app to use that saves to formats that are good for this purpose. Someone suggested Mac Pages. And, I'd like to know how to attach these to the email so that the receiver sees the ad in their email...no attachments to open. The receivers will be PC and Mac users. I will add a line at the top of the email message to change the format on their computer to HTML for viewing. Your tips and ideas will be most appreciated!

Well the problem here is if I get an iMessage on my iPod touch while my screen is shut off and I don't respond to it, the screen lights up like normal, but then I receive the same notification and the screen lights up again.

How do you turn off captions (subtitles) in the Netflix app on a 3rd generation Apple TV? I went to: Settings > General > Accesabiity in the main Apple TV menu and it shows that the subtitles are off. There is apparently an independent setting for subtitles in the Netflix app, but I am not able to find it. An ideas?

If they are part of the video, which sounds like is the case, then you can not turn them off. While the content in question is playing hold down the select button. It will bring up a menu to let you select what ever caption options are avialble. If there are no options they are part of the video and can not be turned off.

You should still disable this setting:

I am using either of the path selection tools to select only some of the paths on the layer. I have the proper layer targeted. I have the selection too auto select option turned off.
If another layer has a path in that area, that layer becomes auto targeted and I get the wrong path. Turning off the layer is the only way to avoid this but then I have to turn on the layer back on between making my selection and transforming to use the other layer as guide. Is there any way to stop this auto select? Locking the other layer does not stop the auto select, just prevents editing.

As far as i know the move tool options don't have any effect on the path selection tools.
You might try clicking on one of the path points or on the path itself with one of path selection tools and if you want to select multiple points
you can shift click with the Direct Selection Tool or Alt click to select the entire path.

In an AIR application, how do you turn off the camera once it has been activated? I remove all references to Video objects associated with the camera, unattach the camera from NetStreams, and remove references to the camera object. This does not deactivate the camera; it seems to be necessary to run the garbage collector too. The trouble is that running the program in the debugger with the manual garbage collector action causes the application to be unresponsive for >30 seconds, which is extremely annoying. Is there a simpler way to turn off the camera?
For reference, I am testing on a MacBook that has an LED for when the camera is in use.
