MacOSX Server 10.5.2 Invalid Serial Number: Serial Number already...

Hello, I've got a surprise this morning, Server Admin says
"Invalid Serial Number: Serial Number already registered"
From console I see:
7/17/08 9:13:30 AM servermgrd[51404] servermgr_info: [51404] SNCheck() failed with 2 (: )
This happened after I tried to manage my server remotely with the server assistant
Any clue?

Invalid pc in line number table

Hi,
I try to decompile and recompile the class file and copy it back to the server getting the following error. I am using the latest Jdeveloper with OA , The ARU number is 5455514. I tried with few other classes, it works fine. Getting error for only one class (i.e. RcptTrxFListener). It's a telnet application for mobile devices.
Can anyone help?

Strange Error- Invalid pc in line number table

We have a web application on OAF(Oracle Application Framework) hosted using jdk 1.5.. we are trying to backport it to jdk 1.4.2_04.. The code compiles successfully but while trying to run the application on 1.4.2_04, it ends up in an unexpected exception saying..

I never saw it before but the ClassFormatError states that the runtime can't read your class file because it is malformed.
Try to remove all your class files and recompile again. I think normally it is backward compatible, but try to use the 1.4 runtime environment in your IDE.

Cluster installation without a MacOSX Server site license

Apple's online HPC deployment guide (for MacOSX 10.4+) assumes the use of a single MacOSX Server site license for the configuration of all of the machines in a computational cluster. In the event that one is using a fixed number of individual Server licenses to configure the machines in the cluster, how should one go about setting up the LDAP records for the computing nodes (as described on p. 47 of said guide)? The guide indicates that the LDAP record should have a record name set to "generic"; if one must create uniquely named separate records for each license, will the server autoconfiguration mechanism work properly? (I have tried the latter without success and am attempting to determine whether the failure is due to the record name or some other configuration problem on the head node.)

MacOSX server update from China

Hi all,
i've installed a US MacOSX server 10.6.4 version on a MacPro bought in China. The installation process goes fine but when i restart the server after an apple update the server displays a frozen black screen. I've repeated this procedure 2 times, are the updates from China not compatible with the US version? :/
I've seen the possibility of upgrading the preistalled software to server but i didn't verify that an eventual update will not mess up the system.
Install a chinese version would defeat my purposes, any suggestions?

If at all feasible, I would try the following:
Back up and ensure your backup(s) are good
First option:
- Download the full 10.10.x installer from Apple (i.e. rather than the updater) and then run it
- Download Server 4x and install it
Second (highly drastic) option (and the one I've just employed to resolve a number of irritating issues; hopefully you won't need this because it's a lot of work
- Download the 10.10.x installer and make a bootable external drive with it
- Use Carbon Copy Cloner or similar to back up your server
- Back up separately key configuration data from your server
- Boot from the 10.10 install disk you made
- Erase the server hard drive and install 10.10
- Install Server 4x and restore files you need from your CCC clone
- There are specific items in the Server config that you need to make sure you can recreate: Open Directory database, DNS settings and others.

SP 2013 Server + Dec 2013 CU. Upgrading from SharePoint 2010.
We have a web application that is distributed over 7-8 content databases from SharePoint 2010. All but one database are upgradable. However, one database gives:
Invalid object name 'Webs'.
while running Test-SPContentDatabase or Mount-SPContentDatabase.
EventViewer has the following reporting 5586 event Id:
Unknown SQL Exception 208 occurred. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.Invalid object name 'Webs'.

Did the sentence you mean only one database not upgrade to SharePoint 2013 and given the error?
One or more of the following might be the cause:
Insufficient SQL Server database permissions
SQL Server database is full
Incorrect MDAC version
SQL Server database not found
Incorrect version of SQL Server
SQL Server collation is not supported
Database is read-only

Domain Server, Sql2012 server and SP2013 Server (3 vm servers)
the sql server reporting services service application and applications Proxy are installed and started (SP2013 Sever)
the sql server PowerPivot system Service and SQL server Reporting Services Service are Started (in Services on Server)
in sql server 2012 sp1 reporting service configured (web service URL and Report Manager URL are configured and tested, the database report server mode is native) (SQl 2012 Server)
under general Application Settings .. trying to setup the "Reporting Service Integration" give us the above error message (Report Server WMI Provider Error: Invalid namespace)
I was looking for all blogs and TechNet material but without success.

Follow these steps:
1) Uninstall SSRS from the Database Engine server (MSSQLSERVER instance).
2) Install SSRS on the SharePoint server using the "Reporting Services - SharePoint" install option during SQL Feature selection, no other services are required (e.g. you do not need to install Database Engine services).
3) You should then see SSRS as a Service Instance in Central Admin -> Manage Services on Server, at which point you can also create an SSRS Service Application.
While this guide (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219068.aspx#bkmk_install_SSRS) walks you through it, this is for a single server install where the Database Engine is also installed on SharePoint, not something you want to do.

Oracle DataBase server component is in INVALID in 10.2.0.4

I took full RMAN backup from production two node RAC system. Production system is in Oracle 10.2.0.3. I tried to restore the backup in another system which is single node system Oracle 10.2.0.4. I restored and recovered database successfully. When I try to do 'alter database open resetlogs' I received following error:
RMAN-03002: failure of alter db command at 11/05/2009 08:39:10
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure
ORA-39700: database must be opened with UPGRADE option
Then I started database with upgrade option.
SQL> STARTUP UPGRADE
SQL> @?/rdbms/admin/catupgrd.sql
Below shows the invalid objects.

I contacted Adobe support Chat and they confirmed the serial number and gave me a response code number to enter. Once that was entered the product downloaded immediately. The whole process took 10 minutes. Thank you for your response. I'm all good now.

if you bought Photoshop CC subscription then you dont need any serial no as it will activate the software using your Adobe ID and password.

Hi,
Serial number is also a master record, as it will be unique for a particular material. The serial number will be mostly given at the time of delivery. But this can be effectively controlled by the serializing procedure. We can create a serial number by IQ01. As and when you do transaction with serialised material, the status will get updated.
Equipment also have same like serial number, this can be effectively created with transaction IQ01, activate the equipment view
