MacPro 2013 will not show full display dimensions only 1080p
I own the "ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch WQHD LED-lit Professional Graphics Monitor" which has 2560x1440 WQHD resolution. When I use HDMI that works in full 1440 dimension quality, but when I switched to display port 1.2 using a wire from amazon "Accell B143B-003J UltraAV Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 Cable with Latch, White, 3.3-Feet" It only displays in 1080p max. Can anyone please help to explain why I can't acheive the full resolution of my displaying unless I use the HDMI wire? I switched to display port so I can plug in my TV to the HDMI port as a second display so I won't be able to go back to HDMI. Side note: No TV (second display) was not connected yet to affect any quality settings.

What is the refresh rate that the monitor is using? The FirePro 500's and 700's appear to have a problem displaying at 60Hz @ 4K. Theres a Samsung 4K thread here that describes how to alter one of the system files to get the refresh up, but the highest I've been able to get mine and have a stable full picture is 50Hz. We I believe are at Apples mercy waiting on an updated plist to fix this problem.

Even when I enter a site and can see full graphics, going into an order or payment area shows text only and no buttons.
When I went into a password-entry site yesterday (Capwiz), I saw not graphics anywhere on the site. However, I saw full graphics using Firefox on the PC laptop I often use for work running Windows 7.Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

In iphoto 9.4.2 I can see the thumbnails but when I try to enlarge them I get an exclamation mark, can anyone help please

Power Map in Excel 2013 (Office 2013 Professional Plus) will not show up in ribbon
I have tried literally everything and nothing works.
I can download the preview version of the Powermap addin and it works.
But by default the add-in will not show up in the ribbon.
I uninstalled , reinstalled, re-ran SP1 of office 2013. double checked the load behaviour,
ran a repair.. nothing works.
Powerview displays fine, Bing Maps... just not Power MapHi Kenneth,
Since you are using Office 2013 Professional Plus, you can only use Power Map Preview for Excel 2013, which is an unsupported add-in. See:

My images will not show in the Finder Pictures folders, but just display as jpeg thumbnails. I have to open each one to see what photo it is. This has just recently started to happen.
I made sure the 'Show Icon Preview' box was checked. This is about all I can do, really, Frank, as i don't know enough about the workings of these machines to start fiddling about.
Strangely the images show as previews in some folders, yet not in others, even though they come from the same sources (my camera and my phone). -

You could try updating your apple TV and then restarting it. Bit of a guess.

My mac will not show images when on the internet? I think I have inadvertently changed some settings but nor sure which one.
I am going to assume you are using Safari here. If so then go to the Apple menu bar and hit Safari-> Preferences. Under the Apperance tab there is a check box that is called "Display images when the page opens". Check if that is unticked.

i have a macbook pro (almost positive that its a 2010 version) and i got mountain lion. The BIGGEST AND MAIN REASON i bought mountain lion was so that i can do airplay, allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my Apple TV. my whole computer is updated as far as the displays and newer features but the small airplay icon will not show up on the top of my screen. therefore, not allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my tv... it is connected to the same wifi as my apple tv. idk what to do. could it be because my macbook pro is a 2010? desprately looking for help...please help me with this issue
