MacPro is dead!

My MacPro is dead! Power button is on but nothing else, no fans, nothing. I tried to reset SMC. Nothing.
Local Apple service provider couldn't help me either. They said that only thing they can do is to order new processors, logic board, power supply etc etc and try to exchange one thing at time. The problem is that the new logic board can be destroyed by old processors or vice versa!
And beyond of all of that, that would cost more than a BRAND NEW Mac Pro!! 30-40% more to be more precise!
Can anyone give me some suggestion? What to do?

Yep, mine too. Was working fine yesterday (though flaky). Now, it's "on" with a power light. Fans are running (in low gear), but I can't get it to come up. Looks like it's off to the Apple Store for this fellah...

  • MBP to MacPro Network Connection Deadly Slow

I recently purchased an Intel MBP, and am connected to my home network wirelesly via a Belkin N1 router. Connecting to the Internet works just fine: speed is good, connection is strong, etc.
But connecting to shared drives over my home network - specifically, those on my MacPro - has become deadly slow. It can take hours to transfer files of a few MBytes. The MacPro is connected to the network via Ethernet. It has four full drive bays. The Internet performance (e.g., web browsing) on the MacPro is fine.
I previously has a PowerBook G4, and it did not have this problem - network speeds worked fine. It's only after I moved to the MBP that this started.
This problem occurs even if a connect the MBP to the network with an Ethernet cable.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    MacBook Pro/PowerMac   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    William:
I've got DHCP turned on in the Belkin, so it's handing out IP addresses. The router does connect to a switch, and I haven't tried a different port on the switch, or resetting it, but I will.
One other thing to note - I have a Mac Mini as well; the Mini runs wirelessly. The connection from the MBP to the Mini has slowed down as well.
I was going to pick up an Airport Express router this afternoon and try it. If nothing else, I'll have a nice collection of Apple hardware...
    Thanks for the feedback.

  • I have a macpro, it was dropped in water, when  I let it dry out, it did not start up, is it dead?

I have an Mac book Pro.  My niece dropped it in water, and now it will not start.    Is it dead or can I fix it.  I get an light when I touch the power to the book, but it will not start, I thought about replacing the magnetic plug.  any help will do?

trying to dry it out and turn it on was a bad idea.
Liquid spills, why your MacBook chassis is a one-way valve for spills
After a substantial spill many people will turn their notebook upside down and shake it, not only does this not work, but it spreads liquid havoc throughout your machine and makes things often as bad as possible.
The keyboard itself acts like a one way valve in the case of a substantial liquid spill. While liquid pours into the bottom chassis easy, it does not come out easily at all, and in the case of any spill, most of it will not come out by turning it upside down. Disconnect all power and contact Apple for diagnostics and repair.
Do not attempt to, after a spill, ‘dry out your MacBook’ and test it
After a spill most people invariably try to “dry out” their notebook by various methods, including hair dryers and otherwise. This both does not work, and after a substantial spill of any magnitude, even if the liquid was water, residue is left behind.
There are additionally many very tight places inside your notebook where liquids will linger for a very long time, and cause corrosion or worse.
Immediately unplug your notebook and contact Apple for in shop diagnostics and parts replacement.
In the case of very minor spills people will “dry out” their notebook and feel success that their notebook is working ok, however invariably in nearly all instances after 4-14 days an error / fault pops up and is usually followed by more.
In case of a spill, damage estimates are impossible,.....anything can be fixed, without question.......the question is cost.
contact Apple for in shop diagnostics and cost estimation ....possible parts replacement.

  • Moving to new from old (dead) MacPro-best way to xfer programs

    I see two options-
Either boot from the new disk, and use Migration Assistant to move programs from my old boot HD installed in another bay. Will this work? Will Migration Assistant see the other internal MacPro HD's. And how do I assure that the MacPro will boot from my new boot disk, rather than trying to boot from the old one?
Second possibility-take out the new boot disk, and put my old MacPro boot disk (with up to date ML installed) in bay 1, and put the new MacPro boot disk in another bay. Will the MacPro preferentially boot from a boot image in bay 1 over the other bays? Then I and use Carbon Copy to make a clone of my old (slower/smaller) HD on the new bigger/faster one. Then install that in bay 1.
Will either (or both) of these techniques work? I would think the first is preferable if it will work since it will give me a clean OS install.
I am trying to avoid reinstalling my applications if possible...

Clone so you have a backup.
    Use Migration Assistant.
    A clean OS is ideal.
A new Mac can sometimes have an OS build that is later than that publiclly available.
As long as you keep a copy of the working system and leave it untouched, you are fine.
Move all the non system data off to another drive too.
Consider a Samsung 840 120 or 240GB SSD for the system.
No reinstall whether you use CCC or MA as long as they are compatible.
You realize you never mention the model of this new Mac Pro?
10..6.8 with its Rosetta works on any Mac Pro also.

  • Dead MacPro and ACD

Well today my MacPro and 23' ACD just shut down. No warning, no strangeness. Just nothing. Checked the leads / outlets / fuses etc. All OK. Other Mac on the same protected power strip all working as normal. No power light on the ACD, no response at all from the power switch on the MacPro. Presumably, the internal PSU in the MacPro is fried? But no power light on the ACD? Can they both have failed so utterly and and the same time? I'm off across country in the a.m. to my nearest Service Centre, but I'd like to know what I might expect the outcome to be . . . any thoughts, anyone?

This has happened to me as well, any leads on this would be much appreciated! One second all was fine, the next my 23" ACD just stopped working.

  • MacPro - front two USB sockets dead?

I've recently encountered this annoying problem - the rear USB ports seem to be working OK, as do the FireWire 800 ports. I just did a PRAM re-set and after rebooting a message appears saying that one of the connected USB devices was drawing too much power so it has been disabled. However, all I have connected is the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer which have always been connected via the rear ports.
Can anybody offer any advice? All I have useable is the one spare rear port and the keyboard port.

I've just tried this but again, no luck I'm afraid. And still after all this with no USB ports in use the Mac started up again with that same notice that one of the connected USB devices was drawing too much power so it has been disabled, even though all that was connected was the kepboad, with nothing connected to its USB port. Very strange. Something isn't right.

  • What is the best way to set up my RAID? (8Core MacPro with 2x1TB HDD) + (1x2TB External G-RAID)

    EQUIPMENT:
    Spring 2011 MacPro OSX-10.6.8
    8-Core (2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon)
    Memory: 16GB 1066 MHz DDR3
    RAID:
      PCI Slot:          Slot-4
      Hardware Version:          2.00
      Firmware Version:          E-1.3.2.0
      Expansion ROM Version:          0018
      Shutdown Status:          Normal shutdown
      Write Cache Enabled:          Yes
    +
    2TB G-Technology G-RAID External Hard Drive
    2 x Firewire 800, 1 x eSATA, 1 x USB 2.0
    Self Powered DC-IN
I know RAID basically lets different drives work together to work more efficiently, especially with large files.
I use my MacPro for video editing for motion pictures, using both Final Cut and Avid Media Composer (also have Adobe Premier because it came with CS5, but have yet to try it). I also use ProTools to score the films.
    QUESTION:
I would like to know what you amazing MacPeople think I should do. I know there are multiple setups for RAID, and I obviously intend on one day having all 4-hard drive bays in use, but only ordered 2 initially when I built it. I also have the G-RAID external. I am in a position where I could partition my G-RAID external to backup both the hard drives, but I have only been using it as a way to bring my media with me when I was going to edit in the lab, but now I do everything at home. I would like to keep it as my travel drive, but let me know what you guys think. I obviously want to put it to the best use possible. I have a 500GIG slow external that I can use too, but I want to get my processor performance as fast as possible. When I edit now, it seems like I am not getting the full potention of my $7,000 MacPro (+ the $1000 Display).
Thank you in advance for your insight.
    -RaphSai

I think you got no rsponses because the question you asked is too broad.
The single biggest performance payback on a Mac Pro (that is not compute-bound and has enough RAM) is to establish a Boot Drive -- with System, Library, Applications, and the hidden unix files on its own drive.
This keeps Mac OS X Virtual Memory system from wrecking the performance of regular file access -- whether you have the User files on a RAID or not.
Most Mac OS X Applications are built like pre-paged paging files. They are similar to the stuff already on the Boot Volume, and some are cranky if they are not on the Boot Volume.
As Mac OS X runs, and applications run, they take a different path through the software and find that the code needed to do a certain function is not present, and must be "paged" in.
You want that activity not to interfere with reading big Source files or writing big Destination files. Mac OS and Applications "snacking" moves the drive heads away -- and they take 20 milliseconds to get where they are going, a spin or two of the Hard drive at 10 milliseconds a spin to read, and 20 milliseconds or so to get back to work. All that is dead time before you can get more data to proceed.
Next is to set it up so that reading Source files does not compete with writing Destination files, such as having a separate Volume for destination files.

  • MacPro keeps killing hard drives!

    Hi all,
I had a search on here beforehand to see if anyone else has had this issue. I couldn't find a close match, but my apologies if I missed one.
I have an early model Mac Pro (v1.1) and last week the original hard drive (a good 6 years old) suddenly died. It was without any warning as previously the computer had been working fine. The only problem I noticed was immediately before the drive died, Firefox locked up my Mac to the point where I had to do a hard reset. When I turned the Mac back on, it would hang at the Blue screen with a spinning beachball.
I booted from the Snow Leopard install disk and did a HDD repair, where I learnt the drive was dead.
Promptly I bought a brand spanking new WD 1TB HDD, and reinstalled everything. I then tried to use a data recovery app (Disk Driller) to copy what it could off the old HDD, which was running off one of the internal SATA conenctions. This seemed to cause problems again, locking up the computer and so forth, to the point where again I had to reinstall Snow Leopard.
Now, I have the original dead 250gb HDD in an external case, attempting a restore by backing it up as a DMG to the new HDD. AGAIN, this froze over night while it was doing it's thing. Ordinarily I'd give up, but there was 30gb of photos on this drive as well as old work I wanted to keep.
SO: Now it appears my new HDD is dead.
I don't know that I've explained this very well, but here's my question. Is it possible there is something in my MacPro (software -- I'm looking at you Disk Driller!) or otherwise that is killing my HDDs?
The first HDD was getting on, so I can see how that could have died (although, it was suspiciously sudden). However, my new HDD is now only FOUR DAYS OLD and when I run Disk Utility from my install disk, it warns that the HDD has failed and to back up what I can.
Appreciate any help I can get!
    Dave

AHT does not necessarily mean that a test with no error reported is a clean bill of health.
If you have a system drive that is corrupted directory it WILL or can block booting - from any device, even from DVDs.
External is fine, turn it on after boot. Turn it on after Disk Warrior is running.
And my lecture point: always have bootable backup clones and even if it was owrking it was old slow and out of warranty and your new WD Black 1TB is much faster. But then buy a data drive, one for backup too.
You should never need to reinstall an OS other than when a new OS to start clean (and use Setup Assist to import your old apps).
So play with just the new drive and leave the other to rest.
Do NOT copy data or recvover to your good drive.
Need a recovery drive for that.
you don't need to use a sparse disk image.
Most people try Data Rescue 3 demo to see if it will read and chance to recovery before buying $99.
Use Carbon Copy Cloner to make copies of your drives and be able to boot from.

  • MacPro Hum and Airport Problems

Well…first post here and i wish it was more…positive. I love my shiny new MacPro but it does some pretty annyoing things. And I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing these.
When i got my MacPro everything seemed to work perfectly. Absoluetly silent except for the faint whisper of the fans. Airport seemed to work great. The room i tested it in wasn't too quiet though.
When i took it home, first thing i noticed was a totally annoying, sinewave like hum, mmmmhm, mhhhhmm. Quick google search told me i wasn't the only one, and actually led me to several threads here. Well…next day, i took all the drive bays out, tightened the screw of my two drives (WD and Maxtor) put them back in slot 1 and 2. ****. Hum got worse. Took them out again, put them in 3 and 4. Hmm…silent? Not. Took them out again untightened the screws so the drive had some space to vibrate. Put them back into bay 3 and 4 which seem to be the only ones I could get the **** drives to be quiet. Well…that did it. NO hum, no nothing except for the fans. My head (which started to hurt because of the buzzing sound) felt relieved.
Thing worked for two weeks. Sometimes internet connection felt slow – thought it must be the metal casing.
Two days ago, i surfed the net, got tired, went down to take a nap, got upstairs again 3 hours later, found the machine sleeping. Pressed the mouse button and …****! What's that sound? Yeah, guess what, nice hum. Bah! Turned the machine off, restarted, waited, left the room…was still there. Thought I was going crazy. Two days later, right now, I'm sitting in front of a loud, buzzing MacPro. Nothing helped. Tightened the screws, untightened them, moved the carriers around…reduced it a liiiiitle bit, but i can still hear it. Bad thing is, it's the kind of noise you just CAN'T ignore.
My old workstation sounds like a 747 taking off, but that noise is actually less annyoing then the constant buzz. Drives me mad. I thought about retuning it and getting a replacement, but honestly, i need the thing.
Within the two weeks that it worked silently, i already installed all the important software i need (for osx+xp) and started working with it. Huge amount of 3D-Files and HD frames already on the disk. I went to check out other MacPros and they all hummed. Some very loud, some very faint. Judging from the discussion on the net plenty of MacPros do it, my guess is that ALL will do with the same combination of drives.
So why do i post this? Well…maybe someone else got a cool flashy new way of getting rid of the noise that hasn't been posted before. I'm going to try some rubber washers but I'm not too sure if that'll even work, seeing as theres not much space on the drive carriers for screw+rubber. So it gotta get some new, longer screws too, noot TO long though so it doesn't scratch the panel above the carriers. GAH. And here i thought this way of mounting drives was elegant. It IS, the MacPro looks totally great, even it's interior but ****…the noise!
Ah…i've nailed the "loud drive" down to the standard WD which was originally seated in bay 1 and now in 3. It's loud, however, it alone doesn't create a sinewave-like hum so i can live with that. The other drive (maxtor) is dead silent from normal distance, however, when i put my ear close to it, you can hear a VERY faint up-and-down-noise…thingy. I was thinking of replacing one of the drives (most likely the WD) with another silent 250GB one.
Do you guys know of any quite drives? Maybe I've got a monday morning drive and the WD's are quite? Samsung, Seagate…Maxtor?
Will making a 1:1 clone of the drive I'm going to replace work using dd? I'm not sure if it will correctly dublicated my boot drive (150GB OSX HFS+ + 80 GB Windows XP NTFS).
That's it for the noise. Maybe someone has any ideas, would be happy!
Now. Aiport. Is there any official word from apple? I haven't called them yet but it seems like pretty much everyone's getting bad performance from their airport card. With the access panel off I usually get 3 bars, when it's on usually 1-2 or even none. I've head that the actual antenna is at the bottom so i don't get why lifting the panel would make any difference.
I also read that the correct cables need to be connected to the aiport card. I can see three, label 1 2 and 3. 2 and 3 are connected to the airport card, 2 at the bottom. That correct? Do they even make a difference…my guess is not since the seem pretty much identical but who knows. I've seen some funny thing dealing with hardware.
Network performance on the MacPro is poor under OSX (got rid of the network drivers for XP cause it ain't supposed do get anywhere near the internet ;)).
    Any ways to fix this?
Then there's the sound thingy with the linout and…nah. All of you know what i mean.
Other then that, the machine absoluetly screams. I'm a vfx artist so I totally profit from the 4 processors, and the thingy just feels speeeedy whatever it does. Congrats to Apple for such a nice computer…except for those pretty
    basic faws.
    Lennart
    MacPro, iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

I've got the same issue with the stock apple drive in slot 2. Nothing I've tried has gotten rid of the hum - I'm about to pull that drive and mount it in an external enclosure, as it's just a backup volume. Let us know if you come up with a good way of suppressing the vibration from drives in that slot.
Regarding quiet drives, I've got three Western Digital Caviar SE16 250 Gig drives, two of which are configured as a striped raid array for a scratch volume (primarily for video production). These are nice 7200 RPM SATA/300 drives that can be found for under $100 US, great performance and nearly silent. Some will recommend the more expensive WD Pro series (RE2) or Maxtor drives for RAID use (Hi, Ned!) - nice if you have the cash, but IMHO not altogether necessary for a workstation. If noise is a concern, these are great drives.

  • Is my DVD/CD drive dead?

I just burned a DVD-R and usually I can see the disc show up on my desktop and in Finder after it's done burning. This time I don't see it anywhere. I can pop the disc into my MacBookPro and it reads fine.
Is there a way to test the drive in my MacPro to find out if it's still good or not?
If it's dead (it's the original that came with the computer), any suggestions for a good replacement?

  • Upgrade: MacPro 1,1 tp 4,1 & OSX 10.6.8 to 10.7.5. to 10.8

Am upgrading from a MacPro 1,1 to a MacPro 4,1.12GB with a pair of SSDs (1 Boot and 1 Home), and with a 1TB backup HHD, partitioned at 500GB/500GB, using CCCloner.
Will be running four 23" CinemaHD displays, via a Radeo 5770 with active adapters and NVIDIA 120 GT.
Existing total System & Docs is less than 100GB
I am asking for advice as to correct sequence of events/task on how to do this.
1,1 is licensed and running Lion 10.7.5,
1,1 has the account with App Store and a 10.7.5 previously purchased download still available to me on that computer.
1,1 is the 'authorized' computer in iTunes
4,1 is running licensed (by OWC reseller to me) with SL 10.6.8
Objective: Run the 4,1 with ML 10.8, and get all my 'stuff' to the 4,1.
1,1 is internet connected, and is in use everyday, a lot.
    4,1 is NOT, yet.
So, when the 4,1 becomes my internet CPU, I need to do it swiftly, and overnight, with all my addresses, archives, and filters intact.
    I have a 32GB thumb drive.
Will be doing a clean install all CD-based apps (OfficeMac2011, McDraft, DragonDrop, etc., to the 4,1.( after OSX upgrade...yes?)
Will be attempting to build a very 'lean' new system, and get rid of 6-7 years accumulation of many misc, rarely used, and useless apps.
Will be dragging all documents and 'S/W version only' small apps from the 1,1 to the 4,1 via FW400 to FW800, in  "Target disk" mode, but am a bit 'fuzzy' on how best way to move my iTunes music files.
    Have nothing in the iCloud.
I'm figuring that I will need to buy OSX ML10.8 upgrade from Apple @ $19.99...yes?
How is best way to get the OSX ML10.8 on the 4,1,  and get App Store account moved to 4,1, and the 4.1 be the  iTunes 'authorized' computer?
Not sure what is the correct, least hassle, sequence, in which to do all this. Don't want to get to some stage that could be a dead end with no way to resolve.
I do NOT intend migrate go to Yosemite, at this time...will do so later, after they clean it up a bit, in further revisions.
Would go directly to Mavericks, if I could, but I understand that is not possible anymore...correct?
I am in no hurry to make transition to new 4,1, and can take it slowly, safely, and as simply as possible, even if it takes a week.
    Thanks very much,
    John in Palm Harbor.

You can upgrade to 10.8 directly from 10.6. To get 10.8 you can purchase it here:   Mountain Lion
Use the combo update, if required, to get to 10.8.5      10.8.5 Combo Update
Do any other software updates required.
Mavericks is no longer available as you posted.
You can have more than one computer authorized in iTunes, just use the same Apple ID. You can have more than one computer use the AppStore, just use the same Apple ID.
In the Target Disk Mode, just copy your iTunes library from one computer to the other.
I would get the newer Mac Pro updated to 10.8, then use the Target Disk Mode to copy the desired data over, and then do the clean installation of Office 2011 and other programs.

  • Dead G5?? No chime, no video, nothing

Hi guys - I've got a G5 emergency! I put the machine to sleep this morning, and when I got home, it was making the "wind tunnel" fan noise. I shut it down, and now when I try to power it back on, this is what happens:
The power light illuminates, the drives spin up, the fans power on, but that's all - no chime, no display, and after a couple minutes - "wind tunnel"
Is there any hope? Are the processors dead? Is it even worth trying to repair? Is there anything at all I can try?

Sadly, the machine doesn't seem to recognize the keyboard or really any input/peripherals/anything.
So I tried the PMU reset a few times, as well as the other suggestions in the kb docs. I attempted to reset the pram, but since the machine isn't accepting input, it didn't work, nor did booting from cd (which wasn't possible anyway since the eject key didn't work)
I ended up bringing it in for service just in case it's something simple. While there I also bought a MacPro because I've got a bad feeling something important is fried. If it ends up being a simple repair, I can always use a spare machine

  • Thunderbolt Display "dead" after firmware upgrade to Version 1.2

    Hi,
I just run the Thunderbolt F/W update to 1.2 as offered by the AppStore Update. I have a 2014 MacPro with 2 Displays connected. In good faith I just confirmed to apply the update without much reading the fine print. The F/W update brought the system to a complete standstill. After 2 hours of waiting in the boot screen, I rebooted the system manually (5 secs power button). One of the Thunderbolt displays first just flickered, then decided to completely die. The System report says: unknown device in the Thunderbolt section. The 2nd display hasn't been updated during this procedure.
How can the F/W of the 'dead' display be re-installed? I also tried to connect it to a MacBook pro. Same result. The display is entirely black.
Any help or suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks!

Put me on the list as well.
I've had this TB display for two years and have had no issue with it. Clicked OK on the firmware prompt and now I have a $1000 paperweight/laptop charger.
    What I have tried:
Reset SMC and NVRAM on my MBP.
Unplugged the display from power and all peripherals and let it sit for ~24 hours before trying again.
Downloaded the firmware installer from Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update v1.2. It tells me that no thunderbolt display is connected.
So far nothing has produced a result.
System report shows an unknown device on the TB port.
A used logic board for the display is around USD$220 on ebay.
I really wish I had not attempted to install the firmware now.

  • Is this a good deal on a 2008 MacPro?

    Hello,
I've got an offer from someone on his used MacPro, and would like people's opinion on if this deal is too good to pass up, or if waiting for a new MacBook Pro to come out is more worthwhile...I will be doing photo and video editing with the machine, I initially wanted to wait for the new refresh of MacBook Pro, but this deal came to me so I need to decide if waiting is a better option or getting this hard to pass on deal...here is what is being offered...
$3300 for both PC and Monitor with Snow Leopard installed:
    MacPro3,1
    Processor: 8 Cores - 2 X 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeons
    RAM: 16GB
    Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Display: Apple 30" Cinema Display - NO dead pixels
    Hard Disks:
128 G.Skill Falcon SSD for the system drive
    2 X 1TB HDD for storage
Added extra: Apple Magic Mouse, Wireless Keyboard
So my decision is to buy this one now for $3300 or wait for a new 17" MBP with the new processors, if that is announced soon? What would you do? Again, main use will be photo and video editing (not Hollywood films, just home movie stuff).
    Thanks for your thoughts.

Ok, well they have this for $3999
Refurbished Mac Pro 2.66GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon
Two 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processors
    6GB (6x1GB) of 1066MHz DDR3 ECC memory
    640GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7200 rpm
    18x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 512MB GDDR3 memory
The one I'm looking at is a 2.8GHz 8-Core with 16GB RAM and the 30" monitor, for $3300...I guess its a good deal by Apple standards then?

  • Mighty mouse - tracking sluggish w/ new MacPro

Set up a new MacPro w/ AirPort and BT with the Apple BT KB and Mighty Mouse. Arrived with dead batteries. With fresh batteries in my office mouse tracked fine. At new location, tracking now unusable. MacPro doesn't seem to support ext antenna for AP or BT, so is there any possible remedy for this poor signal/tracking?
    MacPro 2x2.6GHz, 4GB ram, Radeon X1900, 2x500GB SATA HD. MacOS X 10.4.8.
    Thanks

    Dear poor friend,
I am facing the same very problem here. It started last monday when I updated the OS and the system requested to restart. I restarted it and then Voala!!! My Magic mouse stopped tracking. Like you I can scroll, click, perform some gestures... but thats all.
I still have 8 months of warranty and as I discussed with "Apple Care Specialist" I should reinstall the Mac OS X overlapping the current system. I did that and nothing..... Then he recomnended me to take my mac to a service center.
I live in Brazil and here the Service Center system is always down. I tried to take my MacPro there three times (iPlace in Shopping Ibirapuera) and I always heard that the system was down and they didnt even try to check it.
So I called the Apple Care Again, this time the Super Advanced Specialist told me to FORMAT my disk and reinstall the system once more.... I had no option and I lost everything in this process....
My mouse worked for few minutes and then..... Ta daaaa!!!... it stopped again...
Then this super Advanced Specialist said that this problem might be related to the firmware and only Service Center can give a look...
That means... DEAD END for me...
I was an apple maniac fanboy until today... I cannot accept that my mouse is not working...
APPLE, please, release a patch to fix this problem to occur again. Fix my Mac without the need to bring it to a Service Center.!!!
    Best Regards,
    Disappointed client.
