Macromedia Fireworks 7 Unexpectadly Quits....

Question

I own the Macromedia 7 Studio. Dreamweaver, Flash, and Freehand work and open just fine. Fireworks however doesn't. Everytime I open it, the rainbow circle comes up for 5 seconds, and fireworks starts opening just fine. When the "Initializing Window Tabs" on the - Opening Page - happens, the Unexpectadly Quit Window pops up. Help! I've reinstalled Fireworks twice, I've updated it to the latest 7.0.2 version and tried running the original version. Thanks

I am having a terrible time with the mm_menu items not being
seen on the main state because they are defined as italic. IE7
doesn't recognize it, so I'm pulling it from the code. I noticed

Does anyone know a hack that I can add for IE7 into the
mm_menu.js file so that I don't have to throw out the italics out
of my drop-down?
bobby bro - did anybody get back to you on this? I have an
italics drop down which all browsers except IE 7 render just fine -
and I really prefer the italics . . . my menu came from Fireworks 8
- would love any suggestions you might have. Can I, for instance,
patch the menu.js file to behave differently for IE 7 (so everyone
else gets the italics, and IE 7 users at least get menus they can
see . . . ) If so - how?
