Macromedia Flash 8 files are currently not supported

So I have this great Flash intro for my Captivate project,
and I can't use it, because Captivate doesn't know what to do with
SWF files. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
Thanks.

Hi Charlotte,
A preloader is a very carefully designed peice of Flash
architecture, and I really have no way of knowing whether or not "
benhenny's" SWF meets the criteria for a preloader or not. It could
also be just a cute image of a company logo or dancing text,
because all (s)he said is that it's a "
great Flash intro".
Since the subject came up (thank you, Charlotte) I should
point out that readers of this thread should follow "Charlotte's
web" to the preloaders folder and note that there are several FLA
(Flash source) files there. These can be used in Flash to get ideas
on how to create a simple preloader (for Flash users), and/or edit
those that are already there, for your own use.
Thanks Charlotte - sorry about bringing up your web, but "it
was there", so I had to climb it.

  • Beta versions and other browsers are currently not supported by an application I use everyday, what do I need to do?

When logging in to an application I get this message:
You are attempting to access ezLaborManager with the following unsupported browser:
    Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2
ezLaborManager is only supported on current production versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. "Beta" versions and other browsers are currently not supported.
It is strongly recommended that you use a supported browser to avoid encountering access and display issues.
WHAT VERSION OF FIREFOX SHOULD I USE?

Well, you can waste a lot of time and money trying to get your old iron up to speed but the sad fact is, even though it may work with Color, it will most likely end in a less than satisfactory experience all around. You need to determine if your G5 has PCI, PCI-x or PCIe slots and then purchase the appropriate cards.
However, Final Cut Studio 2 is optimized for the Intel processors. You will see users here and there using the newest models G5 with great success but quite honestly, you need a Mac Pro.
Or just purchase the Aja IO/HD which is a firewire 800 interface and the only firewire device that will preview externally Color.

  • OBIEE Error[14041] Nested Aggregation measure are currently not supported

    Hi,
Please provide workaround for the OBIEE Error[14041] Error in measure definiion. Nested aggregation measures are currently not supported.
I have two logical columns - Current YTD Invoice Quantity and Prior YTD Invoice Price. I want to create a column which is -
(Current YTD Invoice Quantity * Prior YTD Invoice Price)/ sum(Current YTD Invoice Quantity * Prior YTD Invoice Price)
sum in the denominator should be the sum of all rows returned by the report. So level based measures cannot be used as there are multiple report and dimension used may vary.
Columns Current YTD Invoice Quantity and Prior YTD Invoice Price are already aggregated to Sum.
If I try to do the sum on the physical column while creating logical column, the query is running for 6-7 hours and not giving any result. Both the columns belong to different alias table in physical layer.
Please let me know if you guys know any work around for this issue. Also let me know whether this type of nested aggregation are supported in 11g or not?
    Thanks.

    Hi Adil,
Yes, I did create a hierarchy for the time dimesion.
No, I was not able to specify the aggregate rule since the source of the logical column is another logical column
But the time hierarchy works for rows that is not based upon the SUM aggregate at the answers level.
Say I have 3 columns: Income,Expense, Bottom Line (formula : Income- Expense)
Income is created based upon a case statement in the Logical Column and
Expense is also created based upon a case statement in the Logical Column.
    Income 1000 Rupees
    Expense -300 Rupees
Bottom Line 700 Rupees (where the Bottom line is a row based upon the Answers aggregate formula
    which is SUM(Income+Expense))
When I add a column year, I get the following output
    Income 2009 500 Rs
    Income 2008 500 Rs
    Expense 2009 -150 Rs
    Expense 2008 -150 Rs
    Bottom Line 2009 700 Rs
    Bottom Line 2008 700 Rs
The Bottom Line doesn't spread across the Year
Hope this helps you to understand what my problems is.
    Thank you!

  • The PDF file you selected is currently not supported

error message.  received PDF file, able to sign it, but not to fill in blanks.  When I open it under my adobe account, the error message is, "the PDF file you selected is currently not supported"

Not sure what you mean by Adobe account for working with a PDF file. You are in the Acrobat forum and would normally open the PDF in Acrobat (or Reader if that is what you have). It may be that you can fill it in because you have already signed it. Normally the signing locks the form. Without locking the form for further changes, the legal meaning of signing the form would not exist.

Flash player won't work or download. It says it no longer supports power pcs. I am running 10.5.8 on my ibook G4. Seem to have tried everything. i.e. chrome, firebird, archived flash players, etc. All not supported. Any insight??? It started when I tried to upgrade current flash player and it said I needed to uninstall current version, which I did, and then it wouldn't download the current one giving me the not supported story! Please help!!!!!!

Hi Andy, that is correct, they don't support PPC Macs anymore.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/865/cpsid_86551.html#prob1=uninst,os=m10.6,
    Download this if you haven't...
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp10.1.102.6 4_and_9.0.289.0archive.zip
Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.
Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!

In case you did not find it, the following is a copy/paste of the Announcement on Premiere Elements 19/NVIDIA GeForce
that appears at the top of this forum.
Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Video Card Driver Roll Back
If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing
Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling
back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow
glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies
to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of
the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere
Elements 10. Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is expected moving forward.
Since October 2013, the following thread has tried to keep up with the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA reports
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1317675
Older NVIDIA GeForce drivers can be found

    Hi Aleksandr,
It's probably an activation issue. FAQ: Why are some codecs and sequence presets missing from my installation of Premiere Pro?
Try this: Choose Help > Sign Out, Restart Premiere Pro, choose Help > Sign In

  • XSL Element Currently not Supported

    Hi,
I have started using Muenchian method of grouping using xsl:keys and apply-templates.
But I couldn't because I receive the message "XSL element currently not supported" and I don't know why.
Is there any workaround for this ?
    Thanks for your time.

    Yes.
I paste the xsl again because I did any corrections.
I tested it and, without grouping, is working well.
But, when I define the key element the issue appears.

  • Mavericks Server; smbd: File system does not support 0x0, time/size attrs

So I recently installed a Mac Mini with Mavericks and Server 3.2.2 in the main office of my company and everything has been going well, minus a few expected bugs, until recently. Starting last week we've been experiencing random intervals where File Sharing stopped working altogether, and I'd been able to reboot and get it running again. Unfortunately, as I'm the Systems and Server Admin, I've been too busy to look at the logs until now (following the degradation of one of the drives in our DAT-Optic RAID system, I figured it was time to make it a priority), and I'm seeing dozens of entries in the system logs regarding the process smbd with file system does not support errors.
    Here's an example.

As far as I can tell, nothing else has changed in our system except for the fact that one of the drives died and was rebuilt as of yesterday (these smbd problems extend to last week shortly after I updated to 3.2.2 I believe). Any help would be much appreciated. I would normally first attempt a repair permissions to see if the issue is related to a bad plist somewhere but the last time we did that, our ACLs were duplicated across our file share and often incorrectly. I'm not sure if it's just me but the last Mac Server software I used was Snow Leopard Server (when it was still a full OS version) and it was infinitely more stable than what I've experienced thus far with Server 3. Anyway, I appreciate any help/advice that can be given and I apologize for the rant.

Been getting the same errors for a while.
1/13/15 11:38:04.975 AM smbd[1112]: File system does not support 0X40000, file attrs

Believe they are related to random disconnects from the file server (10.9.5).

  • Client Commands are Currently Not Being Accepted

    Hi,
I made a outline restructure on my essbase but my laptop suddenly shut down. When I tried to turn the application on again and tried to add members on Essbase, I got the error message, "Client commands are currently not being accepted"
I can't make any changes and I also have tried to end archive using MAXL but also get the same error message.
Anyone has the solution please let me know since this is on production machine. Thanks.

Since you were in the middle of an outline restructure, I'm guessing it is hung. You can double check that by looking in the database directory to see if there is a file dbname.otn and/or .pan or .inn or .esn files. If they are there, then stop the application. Yoy may need to go to task manager in windows or PS in Unix and kill the esssvr session associated with the session. Then try to restart the app. If it starts fine, if not, look at the files mentioned above and move them to a temp directory and try again. If it still does not work, then the third option would be to move the files above out and move bak in the files ending in "N" renaming them to the proper name..ind, pag, .otl, .esm and try again.
Typically, depending on version you only need to kill the app process and restart

  • Client Commands are Currently Not Being Accepted  due to restructuring

    Hello,
We are running Essbase and Planning 9.3.1. Occasionally, the users get the above error, "Client Commands are Currently Not Being Accepted", because Essbase spontaneously starts restructuring itself. We schedule a restructure in the evening. Is there a way to prevent this spontaneous restructuring from occurring during business hours?
    Thank you,

    Thank you Glenn,
The users say they did not change the outline or refresh the database. The log file says sysadmin gave the command, as I have copied here.
Received Command [Restructure] from user [sysadmin]
If the users did something, I would expect the command to come from them.
The essbase.cfg does not have the work sync or security in it. Can you tell me more on how to determine if this is our problem?

I recently bought full edition of Lightroom 5 for my Nikon D610 but when i connect my other camera,Nikon D3100 for editing my NEF files it says not supported files. What am i doing wrong?
    Thanks in advance

Often, this error message means that you have used some version of Nikon software to transfer the photos to your computer, and this has corrupted the files. There is a fix which uncorrupts the files at http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/fix_corrupted_nef.html
But you said you get this message when you "connect my other camera Nikon D3100", the key word being "connect", and this doesn't really fit the description I just gave. This error message normally happens after you have transferred the photos to your computer via Nikon software, not when you connect it. So ... maybe you need to explain a little more ... what exact task (what menu options, what are you clicking on, what are you trying to do) when you get this error.

  • How do you repair the EFI systems partitions when you mac tells you that the live file system is not supported?

how do you repair the EFI systems partitions when you mac tells you that the live file system is not supported?

I don't have good news. You will need to repartition and reformat the hard drive in order to determine if the drive is still OK or if it needs to be replaced. If your computer is a 2011 model or later do the following:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
If your computer is pre-2011 model, then locate the original installer discs that came with the computer. Then do this:
    Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
         1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the  "C" key.  Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
         2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.)  Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.  Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
(Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
         3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
         4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
install of OS X.  You can now begin the update process by opening Software
Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. You can now download a version of OS X from which to upgrade from your Purchases page in the App Store.

  • I have 200+ files that "is not supported by the ipod."!!

ipod q: everytime i connect my ipod to computer, an itunes popup window tells me that "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including [song title], were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this ipod." they were fine before!
what! this includes podcasts, songs etc. there's a list of 208(!!!!) files that "were not copied becaause the file type is not supported by the ipod"!
what do i do? are these files permanently lost? i can't play them on my itunes even though i can view the files.

sounds like an authorisation problem try selecting all the files that won't play, then go to "window" (ithink) then un authorise the files the do the same thing again but this time authorise them. I don't have itunes infront of me right now to double check but i think that should be right.
