If I understand correctly, you want to display data in Adobe Flash. Why are you posting your question in the Oracle Forms Forum? You probably should be posting here:

IMac freezes after downloading Macromedia Flash and Shockwave
I just got my iMac less than a month ago. It ran fine until I downloaded the latest versions of Macromedia Flash and Shockwave in order to view certain websites. Since then, my iMac freezes about once a day. How do I uninstall Flash and Shockwave to determine if they are the cause of the freezes?
iMac 20" 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac OS X (10.4.9) 128MB VRAM, 2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GBI have a gut feeling it's Shockwave that is causing the freezes. If you aren't familiar with Spotlight yet, it's the icon with a blue circle top right in your Menu. Click the Spotlight icon, in the Search field type in Shockwave. That will give you a list of where the Shockwave folders are and the components. Drag the Shockwave files to the Trash and empty the Trash.
As far as Flash is concerned, I've been using Macromedia's Flash with Safari for years without a glitch, but that's just my experience. If it were me, I'd trash Shockwave and see how your iMac behaves before I did anything about Flash
Also, there's a great disk utility that can help keep your iMac running stable and it's free. Here's where you can get it: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/systemdiskutilities/onyx.html Download and install. Run the Maintenance and Cleaning scripts... once a week!

HTML Pages/Macromedia Flash and OBIEE
Hi there.
I need to integrate an HTML page and/or Macromedia Flash app's with OBIEE.
What I'm planning to do is creating a HTML or Flash page, with some fancy art representing different dashboards. When user click one of thos pics, then I must go to the appropriate dashboard. In there, I don't want to show OBIEE Answers ordinary graphs, tables and other objects. I want to show the end user another page that gets info from OBIEE requests and show them in a different way, with a more user-friendly exhibition.
If end-user wants to go from here to a more detailed view, then It could display OBIEE regular dashboards and graphs.
I know this won't be easy nor have a simple answer to this question.
But if I could make myself clear, then you guys could give me some pointers of how could I achieve such results.
Thanks in Advance!
MarcosYou can access the OBIEE data via ODBC but only on Windows machines. If you install the client tools you will get the BI Server ODBC server which you can use to connect any Wep Application to OBIEE. If you want to integrate OBIEE within another site see this post, it might give an idea:
Re: Sharepoint Integration through web parts -
I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6.6 as a browser. I need to dowload some Adobe software like Flash and i can't do it because this version of firefox is a 64 bit app. I need a 32 bit FF app/where on the website can i dowload this?
Thanks
TimYou already have Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152 installed for Firefox on the PC you used to post here, see your ''More system details...'' next to your posting.
There are no 64-bit builds of Firefox made, only 32-bit currently. There are some 3rd party builds floating around out there, but Mozilla doesn't allow them to be named Firefox - they would be called Namoroka for 3.6 versions. Mozilla does have a Minefield 64-bit build for 4.0-pre versions, but it won't be available as Firefox until probably Firefox 5 is released.
If your situation is with a different PC than what you used to post here: <br />
1.Download the Flash setup file from here: <br />
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version]. <br />
Save it to your Desktop.<br />
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit <br />
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, <br />
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
* On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen). <br />

Hi,
I would like to know where could i find tutorial / example
how to
display / edit / write data from/to database like postgreSQL
thanks a lot,
A.If you just Google "flash database tutorial mysql" you will
find a good deal
of info. You can also look in Help under the LoadVars class,
specifically in
the sendAndLoad method. There's also remoting, and
alternatives (which IMO
are better) such as AMFPHP, which is what I've been using for
sometime and
really like.
http://amfphp.org/
I'd sugges you use AMFPHP from day-one, once you learn a bit
it is sooo much
better than LoadVars and it's faster to boot as it uses AMF,
which is a
binary format.

Flash and database development
I am in the beginning stage's of building my website... I am
planning to use an access database- whereby new entries are made
and they would then be updated to the ISP... how would I link the
Access database up with my flash site so it would show the new and
existing entrie's... please advise or point me in the direction of
a tutorial I can review...
Also on a separate matter - how would I make a login and
password screen to access the next page of my Flash movie- to have
access to the database record's...Use any server side technology like ASP/PHP/Java to connect
to the database.
Then use Flash LoadVars to send and get the values from
server side scripts. -
Solaris 8 10/02
Archive a netra 20 running Solaris 8 10/02 - The archive create work great. However,
when I tried to install it on another system (boot - install tape) with the same hardware configuration. The sparse Sysbase database files are expanded and no longer file on the partition that was created.
Any ideas?
thanksThanks again Barney...
I make a new version of this app every 3 months and I have just created one this week (after updates) and it works fine once burnt onto a CD.
This is what makes me think that the OS is now looking at the older .dat files differently after the updates. Could it be a security issue that they may have been trying to resolve??
It is also PC compatible and all the old CD-ROMs still work fine on PC's.
Thanks again for your help. -

Thank you.
This is a bug in Extension Manager where from time to time
one of the XML files that Dreamweaver uses gets corrupted in some
fashion and Extension manager can't edit it any longer. I've found
that it's Menus.xml in the User folder that tends to be the issue.
For DW8, the file should be located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Menus\menus.xml
Mac:
HD:Users:username:Library: Application
Support:Macromedia:Dreamweaver MX
2004:Configuration:Menus:Menus.xml
So, how to to fix this issue. Sometimes you can uninstall all
of your extensions and reinstall them one at a time.
If that doesn't work, then you may be able to get away with
deleting the Menus.xml file (make sure it is only the one within
the username folder and not within the program install folder).
Note: this action will cause any extension that added menu items to
have those menu items removed. disabling and reenablign the
extensions shoudl bring them back.
Failing that, removing the user configuration folder (or even
renaming it) may help. Note: This will cause all extensions to be
removed from within Dreamweaver, so you'll have to reinstall.
If none of that works, then you may have to resort to
uninstalling DW, removing the user configuration folders, and then
reinstalling DW.

Is this the proper forum for issues regarding potential security(privacy) risks while using Macromedia Flash and OSX?
No. If you want to report this to Apple, send a bug report (or enhancement request) via its Bug Reporter system. Join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report/enhancement request. You'll get a get a Bug (ER) ID number; thus, starting a dialog directly with engineering.

Help installing macromedia flash player
Hi, I am having trouble installing macromedis flash player. I
am on the adobe web site download page, click on the download and
then a few seconds later it says installation successful. I do not
get any dialog box, gold security bar. But, when I visit websites I
get a message that says I need the newest version of the flash 6
plug in, and links me back to the download page. I did a search of
my computer for macromedia flash and could not find anything,
although it could be under a different name.
I am confused, how do I fix this? Thanks in advence!Hi
Flash 8 has a problem with limited users. check your level in
'User Accounts' in Contol panel.
Also in 'Add or Remove Programs' you will see if Flash is on
your system.
If you are a limited user get an administrative user to set
your account type to administrator temporarily ( XP Home ) or Power
user ( XP PRO ). Log onto your account, Uninstall Flash, then
reinstall from website.
If this doesn't work then please supply more info i.e
Operating system, Single or multiple accounts on computer, SP2 ?
Firewall/antivirus etc. -
Adobe Premiere Pro 2 and Macromedia Flash MX 2004
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and have recently installed Macromedia Flash MX 2004.
Now when I go to export to Flash I don't get the Adobe Premiere's Flash Export dialog box when I press "Options" from the Export Settings. I get the Flash MX Professional 2004 "Flash Video (FLV) Exporter." It doesn't allow me to change any of the parameters.
I then un-installed Macromedia Flash MX 2004 but still get the same "Flash Video (FLV) Exporter."
Any ideas on how to get the Premiere exporter back?Well there is no answer to my question, but I did finally get the Adobe Media Encoder dialog box to come back again.
After uninstalling Premiere and QuickTime, then shutting down the computer, rebooting and logging on to the Admin account, shutting down again, rebooting again, logging in to the Admin account again ...
I then went in to the registry and removed all the Entries that had either of these in it:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\DVA\COM
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\DVA\FLASH
and these as well
C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTComponents\FLV.qtx
C?\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTComponents\FLV.qtx
Rebooted the computer, logged back in to Admin.
I then re-installed QuickTime, and rebooted.
I then installed Premiere and the Adobe Media Encoder Flash dialog now shows up.
I'd be careful messy with the registry if you are trying to fix this type of problem. Try uninstalling quicktime and premiere and do the above shutdown, reboot sequence a number of times before doing anything to the registry.

Weblogic 5.10 and Macromedia Flash
I am currently using Weblogic Server 5.10 on an Windows 2000 Operating
System and my customer would like to use Macromedia Flash presentations
streamed through their site to the client browsers. I was wondering
if there was any configuration involved for Weblogic to support
Flash as well as if there are any known problems with this combination.
I have searched through the newsgroups and I have not found anything
on the subject.
Thank you for your time!
-Brian UttWe can export/content just like we do any other Web file. You just have to
make sure that you have the appropriate content type included in Weblogic.

Adobe Media Encoder and Macromedia Flash MX 2004
I already posted this question here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/777473?tstart=0
When I first posted I thought it had something to do with Premiere but now think it has something to do with the Adobe Media Encoder.
If you want to delete that message then feel free.
Any ideas on how to get the Premiere exporter back?
I uninstalled all macromedia programs, Dreamweaver, Extention Manger, and FreeHand.
I now I get this message when selecting Macromedia Flash Video from the export settings:
"Cannot find Flash Video export Module for QuickTime. Please install and retry."
So I un-installed and re-installed QuickTime and got the same message:
"Cannot find Flash Video export Module for QuickTime. Please install and retry."
No quite sure if the above message was talking about reinstalling QuickTime or Premiere, so I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere again, agian and got this message:
"Cannot find Flash Video export Module for QuickTime. Please install and retry."Well there is no answer to my question, but I did finally get the Adobe Media Encoder dialog box to come back again.
After uninstalling Premiere and QuickTime, then shutting down the computer, rebooting and logging on to the Admin account, shutting down again, rebooting again, logging in to the Admin account again ...

It seems that the dynamic dispatch feature in 9i is too dynamic. Too dynamic because it's not possible to execute super methods in an overridden method. In Java, the keyword "super" is used to invoke the corresponding method on the super class, in C+
