Madden 12 promo shows "phone not supported"

Called the **madden number, got the link, clicked and get a "phone not supported".  Reading the fine print it shows the Dinc2 is supported but only for 2.2, which means upgrading to Gingerbread doesn't work?  That makes absolutely no sense!  Will Verizon be fixing this before the promo ends or are will be just be SOL?

Typical.. Right???

Hi Nokia lumia latest windows 8 phones not supporting java. I Think its a big draw back because we cant install any java apps like Mobile banking Apps. Java apps market increasing day by day. Why nokia avoid this feature. is there any solution for this problem.

no solution unfortunately, however you may be able to try your luck with the WebApps app from the Store, and then search for your particular mobile banking website within that app.
and no, it is not Nokia that is not implementing support for Java, it is part of the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system. if you wish to leave feedback with them, you can do so over at http://windowsphone.uservoice.com

If you did not do a reset of your iPod please try that (you will not lose any data)
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If this does not work inspect the opening in your iPod where the cable connects. Look for any debris and clean it (a magnifying glass may be required).

  • Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 2.7 - Showing "handoff not supported"

I'm trying to figure out why handoff is showing as not supported on my Macbook Pro.
It was working on Yosemite Beta up to #4, then it longer supported on beta 5 and the public release.
    Am I missing something?

You need to upgrade to Mountain Lion (10.8.4). The following link tells you what you need for AirPlay:

  • E61i - Phone Not Supported

Upgraded to the latest version of NSU - 1.4.36en from 1.4.24en. PC Suite Ver - 6.86.9.0. Now when I connect my E61i using CA-53 usb cable to NSU, it reports - 'Phone Not Support'. Earlier, I was able to update to 2.0633.65.01 using NSU 1.4.24en. What's wrong?

    this:
    Nokia E61i software removed - 7 April 2008
Support for E61i has temporarily been removed from the Nokia Software Updater service. Other Nokia products are not affected. Support will be reintroduced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • Phone not supported?

Hi. I would like to use iSync with my phone (a Samsung SCH-U540), but iSync says it's "not supported". Am I doing something wrong? It's a recent-model phone, so I'm surprised that it won't work. Any advice?
    Eric

Er.. iSync does have an open API for phone vendors to create support with. How do you think these people, these people and Nokia have created iSync Phone Plugins?
If manufacturers choose not to build-in the industry standard SyncML protocol into their phones, than there's nothing Apple can do about that.
What's limiting your choice is US mobile operators ridiculously poor selection of phones. Here in Europe we have a choice of literally hundreds of iSync compatible handsets - over 70 from Sony Ericsson, plus about 90 from Nokia (not to mention all the ones from Samsung, Motorola, BenQ • Siemens).
Try asking why more mobile manufacturers don't support the open SyncML standard in their handsets... Apple does..

  • Why do these N series phone NOT support flash wall...

Hello- I am curious as to why these apparently "high end" handsets do not support something as simple as flash (.swf) wallpaper ??
I love the N85 and was hoping to buy one but I then found out that it (among others) does not support flash wallpapers.
I am wondering if this is a compatibility issue with Symbian ??
Does anyone know why this is ??
Now before anyone says anything I am referring to flash wallpapers, NOT screensavers, these handsets do support flash screensavers but NOT wallpapers !!
    Thank You, LL-

If they do it for the S40's then why not the S60's ??
The S40 software and S40 devices are done by a different organization/team in Nokia than the S60 software and S60 devices.
Different organizations have different priorities, different resources, different goals.
There's nothing technically that prevents it from being done. And it is possible that some day it will also be supported in S60 based devices.
However, as things are now, S60 based devices do not support Flash [Lite] wallpapers.
I haven't seen any user-installable applications that'd enable such a function, either. I suspect it is next to impossible to write such an application anyway, without the support being part of the S60/Symbian operating system.

  • Phone does not charge! Shows charging not supported with this application. Even dont know the application disturbing it.

  • Phone not supported ( n73 )

hello when I go to update my n73 says to me that the phone is not supported

Software upgrades via NSU are made available in stages. Certain product codes (branded to networks specification) might be released at later dates. If a particular version is required urgently, you may try at your local Nokia Care or perhaps provide feedback via the "Contact Us" tab on top of this page.

  • E3000 shows "USB is not supported" error with External Harddrive

I have the E3000 router and recently purchased a USB WD (Western Digital) 2TB External Harddrive.  I plug the Harddrive into the router, open the router homepage (http://192.168.1.1/) then click on Storage > Disk and I get a "The attached USB is not supported" error - any suggestions on how to fix this?
    Thanks for any help!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Likely Final Update:  WD Support sent me a link to download / install SmartWare and solve the problem I was having with the SmartWare software ("Drive Settings" was greyed out).  Once I got SmartWare back up and running I was able to change the "Drive Settings" within SmartWare.  As the last update suggested, I modified the sleep timer settings and security (password settings) and tested to get the following results:
Sleep Timer on / Password protection on:  E3000 shows "USB not supported"
Sleep Timer off / Password protection on:  E3000 shows "USB not supported"
Sleep Timer on / Password protection off:  WD Hard Drive seen and seems to function properly when connected to E3000
Sleep Timer off / Password protection off:  WD Hard Drive seen and seems to function properly when connected to E3000
So (other than maybe some inital problems with the WD SmartWare) it appears the "USB is not supported" error is due to the Password protection being turned on for the External Hard Drive.  This point should be highlighted in the Western Hard Drive materials but I don't see it anywhere on the box or in the manual (maybe its fine print in the manual).  Cisco and / or Western Digital are screwing us by not allowing password protection (or making this point known) on at this least model of Hard Drive!
Thanks again to everyone that helped with troubleshooting this!

  • Headset not supported??

So yesterday I wanted to listen to music with my headphones but there were strange noises when I plugged it in, and my phone showed "headset not supported", and then I used the Sony earphones that came with the phone and it still didn't work. I tried the clearing Smart Connect data method and it didn't work... What should I do?

  • 5310 Xpress Music Not Supported by PC Suite 6.86??...

Phone: Unlocked 5310 Xpress Music Phone
    O.S.: Windows XP Media Center 2005 w/SP2
    PC Suite Version: 6.86
    Connectivity: USB Cable
    Problem:
Installed PC Suite software, cable drivers, connectivity established to phone. PC Suite however, though it confirms USB connection to phone, and identifies phone in graphic on the dashboard, shows phone "grayed out" on properties page. When attempting to synchronize using PC Suite to enter a contact, am told "phone not supported -- install correct version of PC Suite".
Have placed 8 calls to Nokia Support to address issue.
    - At first was told PC Suite does not run on XP Media Center. Told them XP Media Center is built on XP Pro platform -- no basic difference there.
    - Went to a different system running XP Home Edition and installed PC Suite and had exact same issues occur.
    - Nokia said must be firewall/security program conflicts -- that their developers can't create a software package compatible with all security software structures. Told them was running Trend Micro...a widely used security program. Was sure their developers would have at least accommodated for the most common security engines customers use to protect their systems so Nokia could avoid numerous troubleshooting calls about this kind of problem. I'm not running some off-brand, 3rd party, unknown security application.
    - Nokia then said to turn off all firewall and security protections during a clean PC Suite install. Did that...same situation.
    - Nokia said find 3rd party software to accomplish what PC Suite does but they can't provide guidance on what to use. Said look into forum. No answers there.
    - After further installation and sync attempts, Nokia said I must have a faulty phone. Returned it.
    - Just received new 5310 and am having exact same issues.
I just want to be able to enter my contacts into my phone's memory via my computer so I don't have to manually enter all of them by hunting and pecking using ABC...GHI, etc. for every entry. I purchased a phone primarily to utilize the progressive technology available for this purpose, yet still find that, after paying for those features, I'm faced with having to use the same archaic method I had to use with my old phone when entering my contacts.
Any guidance out there? Or any suggestions on 3rd party software that will do this that would work with my computer system and 5310 phone? I still have time to return this phone to find something else that truly offers progress in this area. Thanks for any help you can give!

I appreciate you taking the time to point me in this direction. I did go to the page you directed me to to download v-7.0.7.0. I know everything was done correctly because I'm connecting and all aspects of my device manager confirms it.
Unfortunately I'm still hitting the same roadblock at synchronization. I contacted Nokia again and was told that in some instances, sometimes registry files in Windows Media Center may conflict with PC Suite -- I seem to be one of the lucky ones who is affected by this.
I've been instructed by Nokia to once again "borrow" access to a different computer running either XP Home Basic or XP Pro...or Vista to attempt to synchronize there. The problem, they tell me, is that I am unable to select the "Reinstall...SMS/MMS" option in the "Help" menu bar of the PC Suite dashboard (it's grayed out).
They're only other suggestion is that I consider downgrading my own operating system to the Home Edition or upgrade it to Vista (along with upgrading all kinds of software/hardware, etc.).
#1 I have no intention of downgrading anything, and
#2 I have no intention of upgrading to Vista -- too many associates have opted to try to downgrade their Vista systems because of problems they've encountered with the OS.
And with my luck even if I spent the money and ruined my system to do it, there is no guarantee it would work even then -- all for features on a phone I thought I had already paid good money for for the right to utilize.
So...I will once again be borrowing someone else's system to test the synchronization effort to see if it really has anything to do with Media Center OS registry conflicts...or not.
Seems to me this should be a pretty basic technology -- I know it's been around for awhile now, yet I would have problems with it.
Anyway...I do thank you deeply for taking time to try to help me get through this frustration. It's nice to know there are kind folks out there!

Remove the battery and wait for about 30 minutes before placing it back. Then try to charge it again.
Check the charging port if it is clear from dust or moisture. Otherwise, you might need to send the phone to a Nokia Care Centre to get it evaluated.
    Good luck
