Magic idv gives me a server error

I have been trying to get help with a problem in Iphoto which I cant resolve and now it has occurred in Idvd. When I click on Magic Idvd I get the following error"The server May not exist or it is not operational at this time .Check server name Or IP address and your network and try again"
The only way out of this loop is to force quit the program
Where else can I go for help? I am new Mac owner

I think I transfered them from my pc laptop back in January ,however 6 of them work fine the rest I had to erase. Still a mystery
It sounds like perhaps you transfered links for some of the images rather than the actual images themselves - that could account for the server error since there was no longer a connection to the actual images.

    Hi
    Shutdown apps tier, run autoconfig. On database tier run autoconfig. Cleanly shutdown all, restart all in sequence. Error because some of the os processes are hanging. Nothing to worry.

  • Some print Apps work, some give me a server error. Why is this?

    Officejet Pro 8500 Plus - Some print Apps, such as USA Today, work fine. Others, such as MinuteMaze, UCrossword, give me an unable to connect to server error. Why is this?

  • FF 3.6.13 gives 500 Internal Server Error. Cannot open ANY site. Set to Auto Proxy. IE and Chrome working just fine.

    I installed FF Beta 4 and it gave me 500 Internal server error at launch. This stood true for any website typed. The Network LAN settings are kept at "auto-detect". So i decided to go back to FF 3.6.13 - but that too gave me the same error ! So i basically cannot use/surf using FF at all. I have kept "auto-detect" proxy in IE and Chrome and are working fine. Also, FF is my Fav and have been using it without any errors prior to IE beta 4 installation. Please help me get back to FF :)

  • Migrating from 10.1.3.1 to JHS10.1.3.2 gives 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi all,
    I am busy migrating from Jheadstart version 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.2, but now I am stuck with some binding issue.
    I can generate my application without no errors, but when I try to access a none default tab I get a 500 error. An example incl. stacktrace is added at the end of this post.
    The default 1st tab contains a Table-Form which I can use with no problem and I even can drilldown to the edit page and save some changes.
    But when I navigate to an alternative tab I get the error shown below.
    When I access the URL which the system should navigate to originally the page is shown normally and I can even save changes normally. Navigating back to the first tab gives then also the rangeBinding error.
    Using debugging and from the log I know that no rangeBinding is handed in during the prepareRender phase of the lifecycle when I get the error,
    when the app runs normally the rangeBinding handed in is not null.
    I have the assumption that some thing is wrong within the filter-mapping ordering but I am using the standard generated one from JHeadstart.
    To be precise I will include it:
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfFaces</filter-name>
    <servlet-name>*.jsp</servlet-name>
    <dispatcher>FORWARD</dispatcher>
    <dispatcher>REQUEST</dispatcher>
    </filter-mapping>
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfFaces</filter-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jspx</url-pattern>
    <dispatcher>FORWARD</dispatcher>
    <dispatcher>REQUEST</dispatcher>
    </filter-mapping>
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfFaces</filter-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
    </filter-mapping>
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfBindings</filter-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
    </filter-mapping>
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfBindings</filter-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jspx</url-pattern>
    <dispatcher>REQUEST</dispatcher>
    <dispatcher>FORWARD</dispatcher>
    </filter-mapping>
    <filter-mapping>
    <filter-name>adfBindings</filter-name>
    <servlet-name>ordDeliverMedia</servlet-name>
    </filter-mapping>
    Does somebody have a clue what's wrong within my configuration?
    Regards,
    Michel Jansen

    Michel,
    Usually, such problems come from a custom 10.1.3.1 template that is still used in 10.1.3.2, which has not been merged with the new 10.1.3.2 default template. Could you check if your application definition contains any custom templates, and if so, test the application with only the default templates?
    To see if custom templates are used, you could check the xml source of the application definition and check for the occurrence of a <Templates> tag as opposed to an empty <Templates/> tag.
    Hope this helps,

    Hi,
    In KM Content goto /etc/xmlforms/km.appl.xmlforms.xfbuilder_core.jar and download the file to local files system.
    Now open the jar file with winrar/winzip and open META-INF folder, there you should find <b>SAPPortalsCertificate.SF</b> and <b>SAPPortalsCertificate.RSA</b> files.
    If these files exist in META-INF folder, then you jar is signed and if not unsigned. For security reasons classloader does not allow to open unsigned jars as some other jars in classpath are signed.
    So if these files not present in META-INF folder, then replace the corrupt km.appl.xmlforms.xfbuilder_core.jar file with file that works on some other server.

  • How to resolve error - 502 web server error ?

    Hello,
    Kindly consider following scenario:
    Custom control is programmatically creating site using following code. Once site get created, it redirecting to its settings.aspx page:
    try
    SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(delegate()
    using (SPSite
    site1 = new
    SPSite(SPContext.Current.Site.ID))
    SPLongOperation.BeginOperation
    beginOperation = null;
    if (beginOperation ==
    null)
                             beginOperation =
    delegate(SPLongOperation
    longOperation)
                                 site1.WebApplication.Sites.Add(site1.RootWeb.Url
                      + "/manPath/site1,
    Site1, "", 1033,TemplateName,
    __userLoginName, __userName,__userEmail);
                                 longOperation.End(site1.RootWeb.Url
    + "/manPath/site1/_layouts/settings.aspx");
    SPLongOperation.Begin(beginOperation);
    Same code works perfect at development machine, while in production it gives 502 web server errors.
    Please check below error text:
    502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.
    There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.
    Results in Development machine: site gets created and redirects to its site settings page as expected.
    Results in Production machine: During the process it throws 502 web server errors, while site has got created successfully.
    I am not sure why it happened, while previously it was working. I have feeling that may be redeployment should resolve the issue, but I want to know root cause of this issue!!
    Note :  the same settings page is working well, when I open it manually in production environment!
    Please let me know the approaches to resolve this issue? Also, let me know if you need any further information on same.
    Thank you to look at this issue !
    Kind Regards,
    Dipti Chhatrapati

    Hi, I have found the things where is the issue , but still I am looking for the resolution !
    To add further on above issue, I have observed as below :
    Client machine: Following
    error is getting throw when creating new  site.
    502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.
    There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content
    server, it received an invalid response from the content server.
    WFEs
    machine : Error is not getting display when creating new site.
    And hence , it looks like load balancing/IIS issue, however I am not sure how to resolve the same !!
    Please let me know your thoughts !
    Thanks and Kind Regards,
    Dipti Chhatrapati

  • I get server error when signing in on windows 7?, I get server error when signing in on windows 7?

    I am using Windows 7 when trying to sign into icloud it gives me a server error, but system status is ok and i can log into icloud.com
    So not sure if anyone else is having the same issue?

    I'm getting this same exact error. How did you resolve it?

  • Setting up new Macbook and on Apple ID entry I get "Couldn't sign in because of a server error. Try signing in again."

    Any suggestions on how to continue? ID and Password are defienetly correct.

    I'm also experiencing the same problem. I just upgraded the OS to X on my Mac Mini, and there seems to be a problem connecting to the internet. Connected fine to my Time Capsule/Router, and the Router is seeing the internet according to my MacBook Pro on the same network (this post is evidence that I'm seeing the internet!). But when I connect to the router, I get the error message:
    "Your Mac isn't connected to the internet." Try Again or Continue.
    If I select Continue, when I try to sign into my iTunes account it gives me the server error message, which is presumably because it's not seeing the internet. Have tried it several times and confirmed the password is correct. Also, I can see and share screens with the Mac Mini from my MacBook Pro, so clearly the connection to the router is working as well.
    Help?

    Hello Julian
    This is a known problem.
    Cause
    - A user may have been added to a group in another ldap tree with a name, that is already existing.
    - When DTR retrieves the group from UME, we get 2 similar group names, but the groups may be different.
    - DTR cannot handle this and throws "Internal Server error"
    Resolution
    If you change parameter "ume.ldap.unigue_grup_attribute" to 'uid', DTR doesn't use the groupname,
    but the group-uid, therefore the group is unique.
    1. open Visual Administrator
    2. choose Services
    3. choose UME Provider
    4. Reset "ume.ldap.unigue_grup_attribute" with 'uid'
    5. restart the system
    Thanks
    Kenny.

  • WinFS repository content gives Internal Server Error

    Hi,
      I am stuck with a Windows FS repository problem .
    The repository is displyed in KM Content with the folder hierarchy.
    But whichever document (xls,pdf,doc etc) that I open inside gives a
    "<b>Internal Server Error</b>".
    There are 4 repositories each of which have individual RM and n/w
    path configured .All of this are under a common parent folder on the Windows system which has quite a lot of additonal folders too.
    Is a different path and RM for each of repositories a problem?
    Help would be very much appreciated .
