Magic mouse doesn't allow me to zoom in and out, just scroll
just purchased imac and magic mouse, read allow instructions and how to use and have everything correct in settings but doesnt let me zoom in and out. tried holding control down and still nothing ?
Go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing.
In the Zoom section, click the Options button (note - Zoom itself does not need to be turned on). In the new screen, make sure the last item, "Use scroll wheel with modifier key..." is checkmarked, and that Control is the chosen modifier key (the character entry box on that line should be showing a single upward-pointing carat, which is the symbol for the Control key).

Zooming usually involves changing the scale of an object gradually. The gradual change is the semi-complicated aspect of the process. If you Google "Flash zoom tutorial" you are likely to find plenty of examples to learn from. If you include AS2 or AS3 (whichever applies to you) in the search terms it will narrow it down further.

i bought a brand new 27" imac i couple months ago and have tried time and time again looking u how to use the zoom in and out by pinchin the mouse but there is no such option on my imac

Hold down the Control key on your keyboard and scroll with one finger on Magic Mouse to enlarge items on your screen.

Magic Charger for the Magic Mouse doesn´t work
Hi,
I´ve recently did my first purchase on the apple store,
I´ve bought the magic charger from mobee for the Magic Mouse,
which has been working all good with the normal batteries,
but since I´ve install the new magic charger batteries I just can´t make
work the magic mouse, I´ve plug the magic charge into a usb from the iMac 24"
I´ve wait almost a day so tha the Magic Mouse charge the batteries than
when I switch on the Magic Mouse doesn´t work, the green light from Magic Mouse stands off,
so obviously the bluetooth from iMac 24" doesn´t recognize Magic Mouse,
¿Any suggestion?

but and don´t get me wrong, your message was completely worthless.
Since I did a purchase on the apple store, the apple store should answer
for every inconvenient with the product than I did purchase, and as Apple
is a big multinational who cares for his customers, they did so Apple store sended
special transport to my home to get the malfunctional Magic Charger and than
they send me a new one which seems would work fine.

Magic Mouse doesn't scroll on Windows 7

Today i setted up my Boot Camp partition with Windows 7 (64-bit, professional). After I installed all the drivers for Boot Camp, my Magic Mouse still coudn't scroll if i make swipes/wishes. I don't know what's wrong with it.
Any suggestions/ideas?
PS: Yes, I set it up as HID Mouse in the Device Manager.Similar problem here on my MBP 2011. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit using bootcamp assistant and exactly following the step-by-step bootcamp setup documentation. Everything went smoothly except for the Magic Mouse. At first, the mouse refused to work at all after installing the latest version of Windows Support Software from Apple, even though it was already showing and recognized as "working properly" in the device manager. My 1st resolve, based on another thread on this forum, was to remove/uninstall the mouse in both Windows and Mac in that exact order, then boot back into windows and re-add the magic mouse, which seemed to be working fine after that (including the scrolling, in both Windows and Mac OS). But then Windows prompted for a bunch of updates and after a few restarts, the Mouse scrolling function stopped working (can still track though) and running Bootcamp repair in Windows didn't help either.
is this mouse really that Magical? -
I downloaded Firefox 4 and immediately noticed I could not zoom in and out by using the two finger "pinch" action used on MacBook Pro trackpads.
I reverted to Firefox 3.6 and it works just fine.

In Safari, my iMac sometimes zooms way too much and will not zoom back. I have a wireless mouse set to zoom in and out on double tap, but the excessive zooms happen with no taps. A page zooms in so less than 1/4 of the page is visible and nothing I do will zoom back out, command minus doesn't do it, double tap on mouse does not zoom out, and the window will not scroll to show any of the rest of the page. reloading the page does not help. Loading a different page gives me a normal view again.
If it were a tweaked setting, it should happen less randomly. And there should be no settings that could override the zoom setting in unversal Access and the Mouse zoom preferences.
In addition, this only happens in Safari 6, and seems to happen more fredquently on some websites and not on others. That suggests some sort of conflict in the site code with Safari and Apple wireless mouse code. It does not happen in Mail, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other software as far as I can tell. -
My screen zooms in and out even when my hands are not on the mouse
How can I stop my screen from zooming in and out WITHOUT my hand touching the mouse or keyboard? When this happes, I cannot click on anything without an irrevelent box coming up.

Why wont Illustrator CC let me use Alt + Scroll on my mouse to zoom in and out smoothly?
When i use Illustrator CS6 i am able to zoom in and out smothly by pressing my option key on my Mac and then scroll with my mouse. It wont let me do that in Illustrator CC, why not? Also i should not that this zoom does not use the zoom tool on the left hand tool bar.

For me it zooms in hops: 50, 66.67, 100, 150, 200 etc. same as when you click with the zoom tool.
You can of course enter exact zoom %s at the bottom left of the Illie window but that’s not smooth either. -

Help my MAC OS X disc doesn't allow me to restore factory settings it just installs snow leopard and remains on my original user account?
You need to erase the disk first. From the 'Utilities' menu on the Install disk choose' Disk Utility; use this to erase the disk, then install the system plus (if it's the original install disk) any bundled applications.
I'm going to state the perfectly obvious just to be on the safe side: 'Erase disk' does exactly that - everything on the disk will be gone. -
Since updating to ios7 my ipad freezes, randomly zooms in and out, black pages that take forever to load and battery charge doesn't last very long. It's very frustrating, is there anything I can do it seems to have a mind of its own
