A few hours later…
I just found Mouse Wizard:
http://www.samuco.net/web/node/23
I will say that when I downloaded the demo the center button didn't work, but a very quick & courteous reply from their tech support suggested:
In terminal, can you try entering this command: "rm ~/Library/Preferences/.MagicalWizard.plist". Then, relaunch MouseWizard.
I did this & now I have center button nirvana! (Mouse Wizard also supports a version of the squeeze button (they call it fourth button) and squeeze/bloat gestures.)
So far so good--it's made me much happier with my magic mouse.

  • View all open applications: workaround?

It used to be I could hit a hotkey or a hot corner and see windows for all open applications and jump from one to the other.  It seems that's no longer possible.  Is there a workaround???

Just posting to see your reply. There's a glitch in ASC software that hides the message sometimes until the next post and it's doing it now.
    EDIT: OK...good to hear.

No, you'll have to use Mission control for that.  It's either located on the dock, the F3 key on recent laptops on a swipe on the trackpad.

  • How do you view all open images without opening each tab?

I have been using CS2 for ages, and recently switched over to a recent version of Photoshop. I'm using a mac. In CS2 I was able to drag my mouse to a corner of the screen and view all open files. Can I still do this somehow? Or do I have to open each tab to see the image? I'm looking for a quick way to view thumbs of all my images. Please help!

If you dislike tabs turn off
Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > Open Documents as Tabs
Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > Enable Floating Document Window Docking
    And maybe try
    Window > Arrange > Tile

  • Command, Tab option not showing all open applications

    Hi,
Just upgraded to Mountain Lion and now when using the combination of Command+TAB not all open applications are displayed.
This seems like a bug or am I missing something

I want to add to list as having same issue... Even core Apple programs not showing up (Safari, iPhoto) in Command Tab. But Mail, iCal do show up in Command + Tab.  Also noticed that only some applications "minimize window into the application icon", while others get minimized to bottom right of Dock.  Additionally no "Show indicator lights for open application" appears for those missing programs.  I attempted to select-unselect both of those in the Preferences -> Dock options and restart a few times, with no success.
The same programs missing from Command + Tab are also missing a graphic icon in Dashboard view (only Application Name appears).
Issue is new to OS X Mountion Lion, I did not have that problem before.

  • How I can closed all open application after update to iOS 7.0.2.0?? Before this v iOS7 we was can closed any application's open :(

How I can closed all open application after update to iOS 7.0.2.0?? Before this v iOS7 we was can closed any application's open :(

There's no good way to do it.  But you don't need to.  iOS 7 automatically handles whether an application takes up memory or has files open.  There's no real advantage to you ever closing an application yourself.
If you are having problems with a particular app, please describe them.

  • My magic mouse keeps jumping all over the page

Hi, my magic mouse keeps jumping all over the page and random apps keep appearing on my screen when I'm in facebook and it keeps sliding onto my dashboard screen.

Thanks so much for replying Barry.  Did what you said but took me 6 attempts to be able to reply to you so unfortunately did not work.  Have to wait over a week to get into Apple store so I guess I've just got to wait.  This is my second magic mouse and its driving me crazy.  Touch pad also playing up but thanks for the advice and have a good day.

  • Encrypting a USB jump drive / Quitting all open applications

    Hi,
    Two quick questions...
    1) I want to password encrypt my USB jump drive so that I am the only one who can get to it's content. I know how to do this using Toast for a cd or dvd. Is it possible?
    2) Is there a command to have all open applications quit?
    Thanks,
    Gary

Get a copy of Truecrypt. It will do what you want, and have the bonus of being compatible with Windows.

  • How to view all open tabs?

I know how to view all open tabs for one Safari window but how do you view all open tabs for all open windows?

Bookmarks menu > Add These x Tabs to Reading List
    Click the Reading List icon:
I think that is as good as it's going to get.

  • How to set preference to "show all" open windows in all open applications (until I quit)

how do I set preferences to "show all" windows in all open applications (until I quit the application) ?

Can you explain more what the problem is and what you want to see.
All windows are shown by default, unless you minimize them, so I'm confused at what you are asking.

  • Is it possible to view all open internal tables in the 4.7 debugger?

    Hello,
Is it possible to view all open internal tables in the 4.7 debugger?
    Thx.
    Andy

As far as i know in 4,7 there is no new debugger. But it is the new debugger which brings the functionality so i fear you go no chance.
And for the rest who is still struggling on what OP meant: He meant the tab "globals" on the variables tab of the new debugger.

  • Forced to Close all open applications when switching between users.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 13 inch, and have 2 accounts set up on the computer.
When switching between users on the computer, I am always forced to close all open applications on the current user, in order to switch to another user.
I was wondering if there was ANY way to keep the pages (specifically Safari) open when switching to another user, so that I can go back to them when I log back in to the other account.
    thanks for the help!

    Enjoy!

  • More preferences for magic mouse needed.

The magic mouse is really a nice piece of hardware, but the software is lacking.  Here are a couple of problems I have and suggestions that would make my life a lot easier.
There scrolling feature is nearly useless in text editors.  It is always causing undesired scrolls of the text windows and various list boxes.  I end up turning off the scroll feature when using a text editor. I would like to see application specific preferences for the mouse scroll.  Allow user to enable mouse scroll on an application by application basis and set various scroll options on an application basis allowing me to disable scrolling for desired applications.  This would eliminate the need to open system preferences every time I switch apps.
For text editing applications, I tend to disable scrolling, but I would like to retain the scroll feature, but restrict it to a center portion of the mouse so it must be activated using the middle finger as one would do with a wheel mouse.  To accomplish this, the mouse surface could be treated as three separate zones, left, center and right.  New mouse preferences would allow user to specify if the mouse surface was treated as a single zone, or as multiple zones.  User should be able to configure the mouse for individual applications to enable the multi-zone feature.

Think back.   Was your mouse turned off at the point when you downloaded Mavericks.

  • Viewing ALL Open Work Items and Corresponding Approvers in System

Is there a workflow report in ECC that displays ALL open work items in the system at any given time and their approvers that need to take action?

    Hi ,
SWIA -  You can give a status of the workitem ( Ready , Inprocess ...........), workitem type (dialog....)
in the selection criteria and also the time then you can find all the open workitems.
And also you can check Header table SWWIHEAD it includes all the information related to workflows
but this is a lenghty process need to process object type and need to refer so many attributes.
best way is need to create one report make use of it.

  • Magic mouse, Win XP all work fine? On boot camp?

I currently have an Intel iMac 2007 Core 2 Duo with Snow Leopard on and use boot cMp with Win XP home on. I have a mighty mouse wireless at the moment and works fine. I used a magic mouse in the Apple retail store recently Nd thought it was reall good.
So will the magic mouse work fine under boot camp on Win XP home? What functions work and what dont please? I only want one mouse for Mac and Windows
    Cheers

The Magic Mouse will work fine with Bootcamp Windows and Mac OS X. Follow the instructions: un-pair it in Mac OS X, install the drivers and pair it in Bootcamp Windows, and then pair it with Mac OS X. This works great for me, but note that functionality in Windows is more limited: scrolling is just up and down and no gestures for back page and forward page.
My experience with the Magic TrackPad is that I can get it to work properly in either Max OS X (10.6.4 or 10.6.5) and Bootcamp Windows. (It has the same limits on functionality in Bootcamp Windows as the Magic Mouse.) However, when rebooting into a different OS, the prior pairing does not work. You have to delete the device in the Bluetooth control panel and then re-pair it. This is a nuisance and I find that it is easier to simply plug in a USB mouse for occasional use in Bootcamp Windows rather than to constantly re-install the device. This is not fixed in the 10.6.5 update on my system.
If you need to use Bootcamp frequently, then the Magic Mouse is a better choice. Note that what I describe here is my experience with my early 2008 MacBook Pro. YMMV.
