Magic Mouse viewing more then one page at a time ?

Hi,
I looked through the threads and possibly I am doing something wrong. On my Mighty Mouse I could have several screens open and click on the side of the mouse and it would show all the open windows. Is that function no longer available with the Magic Mouse?

Try F9 to show All Windows in Exposé, if not open the Exposé preference panel and setup some key functions.

Hello,
I am currently using LiveCycke Designer to create a scholarship for my company. I created fields for the form and I would like to insert a text to describe the scholarship. When I insert the text, it doesn't flow onto the next page. I've tried creating a subform and clicking "flowed" and "allow page breaks within content". I also clicked auto-fit for the height, but it just makes a line. For the text box, I've clicked "Expand to fit on the height". It is also a dynamic XML Form. Is there anything else I should be doing?
I could always send the file to someone to see if they can figure it out.

Here is the corrected form..Even you you set the Subform type to "Flowed" to the subform where the Text box resides, you did not set the Page1 to Flowed (which is the key)..But when I make the Page1 type to "Flowed", all your fields above the Scholrship text boxes' Subform will go one below another.. To fix this, first I have select all the fields and wrap them into a subform and then set the Page1 to Flowed..

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows how i can view more then one web site at a time instead of having to minimize or close every single time? For example, on a PC there are tabs at the bottom of the screen and you can flip back and forth between site, can a MAC do anything like that?

Welcome to Apple Discussions and Mac computing.
Go to the Safari Menu (to the right of the Apple Icon in the upper right of the screen) and select Preferences. When the Preference panel opens, select Tabs (if you don't see a Tab panel, click on the small pill button in the upper right). Check all available boxes. You'll see instructions for key commands on this panel to activate different aspects of Tabs. If you want to learn more about the Tab function, go to the Safari Help Menu and type "tabs" in the Search field.
Once Tabs is activated, a Tab Bar appears, similar to what is created at the bottom of the IE window. To create a new tab, simply press the Command and T keys. If you want to open a link on a web site in a new tab, hold down the Command key when you click on the link.
Good way to familiarize yourself with OS X is to pick up a copy of Scott Kelby's book OS X Tiger: Killer Tips.

As a muscian reading digital sheets on Reader, being able to veiw as many as 3 to 5 pages at a time would be more helpful. Also, if it was possible to view any number of pages at time such as pages 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4, or 5,6,7,and 8 instead of just 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 etc. my experience would be even better. thanks.

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

ITunes palying to more then one room at a time

I'm using iTunes to play back music through the house using several airport express.
Is there any way to get iTunes to play back to more then one room at a time?

Not yet, but keep an eye on something called Airfoil.

It can currently play audio over iTunes on your computer as well as to an AirPort Express.
The down side is there will be a 1-3 second delay between what you hear from the computer and what you hear over AirTunes.
Multiple AirPort Express support may be a future feature.

I have an HP Photosmart C4180 all in one printer scanner and copier, I can't figure out how to scan more than one page at a time and then send as a PDF file via email

I have an HP Photosmart C4180 all-in-one, printer, scanner and copier. I can't figure out how to scan more than one page? It will only let me do one page at a time and then I have difficulty sending pages 1, 2 and 3 as one docuement. Any ideas??

Priting more then one page in the layout

I can't print anymore more then 1 pages per layout of each printed page!
This happened from leopard. I have upgraded the system, then i did a archive & install trying to solve the problem, but there were no changes.

Not sure this will help -- But at first I was not able to print more than one page on my EPSON STYLUS PHOTO R200 printer. When the page opened -- I had the Printer listed in the top Title space. After several attempts, i noticed there was a black arrow next to the Printer name -- I clicked on it to open and all of the application features including setting # of copies appeared. I seem to remember reading something that in Leopard 10.5 Printing is now tied to the application rather than the printer. Maybe this had something to do with it not appearing at first.
Only problem I have now is LEOPARD does not recognize my printer Utility software --for cleaning heads, determining ink levels, etc. I've e-mailed EPSON on this

I can't print a document that was created by firefox and is longer then one page.

Firefox has problems with some style rules.
First, it's always helpful to use any print-formatted or print-optimized version of the page. Sometimes there is a link for this.
Second, in some cases you need to use this trick: press Ctrl+a to select all content on the page, then Ctrl+p to display the print dialog, and click the radio button next to Selection.
Those tricks don't always work, but hopefully they will help.

Why can't I paste more than one page at a time?

I have a problem with Pages when I try to paste more than one page worth of content at one time.
In my business I have a form online for clients to fill out. When the clients have finished the form, I copy the form (saved either as a safari document or as a pdf) and then try to paste what I have into Pages. It should flow to fill out four pages, but for some odd reason it only fill the first page of a Pages document, then it gives me a second blank (empty) page. So the document is two pages long, but only the first page has content.
I know the pasted information is hidden in the document, because if I were to cut (erase) a few lines of content, the pasted information would appear from the bottom of the page to fill the space I just made.
Why is Pages not making a four page document containing all my pasted information? Why isn't it flowing to fill out as many pages as it takes to show all the information?

Can I use a magic trackpad with more than one Mac at a time?

I am attempting to pair a MTP with a second MacBook Pro. So far I can't get system preferences to find the MTP.
I am wondering whether the MTP can be paired with only one Mac at a time, and that this is why my MBP won't find it.
The reason I am thinking this is because the little booklet that comes with the MTP says 'after you pair your MTP with a Mac, you can pair it again with a different Mac. To do this, you first remove the existing pairing and then pair the trackpad again'.
Can anyone advise, please?
If it can be paired with more than one MBP at a time, any suggestions why my system preferences search for the MTP is not producing any results?

Yes, your keyboard, mouse or trackpad can be paired with multiple Macs. You can even have multiple keyboards, mice or trackpads paired with one Mac. The caveat is that the device can only be connected to one Mac at a time. The device can't be paired or connected with a Mac while it's currently connected to another.
Pairing a device with 2 Macs will be troublesome if the Macs are located within 33 ft of each other. The device will connect with the first available paired Mac and then unavailable to the second. If the Macs are located outside the 10meter range, it's quite easy to power off the keyboard (forcing a disconnect) then walking the keyboard to Mac 2 and powering the keyboard on. I do this with a keyboard from my iMac to a Mac Mini in another room.

PhotoSmart 2710 Printer Feeder cannot handle more than one page at a time

My printer works fine except that the paper feeder has difficulty feeding more than one sheet at a time. When I put a stack of more than one sheet of paper in the feeder tray, the printer might successfully print one or two pages, but then pages will overlap (top of printed page is on one sheet, bottom on another or multiple sheets will be grabbed at the same time so only the first sheet gets printed and the others are blank.
I do mostly standard office paper printing so no real experience with heavier pages. I get my paper from Office Supply stores, like Staples, and brand does not seem to make a difference. Have had same experience with Store Brands, National paper company brands and have even used HP branded paper with same results.
I have no problems when I manually feed individual sheets to the printer So I have essentially a single sheet printer. Any help appreciated.

How to go back more than one page at a time?

I'm pretty sure there used to be a drop-down arrow by the back/fwd buttons, so you could go back more than one page by selecting it. Yeah? Where did it go?

You can either right-click on the back/forward buttons or hold down the left mouse button until the list appears.
