Can anyone help me how to proceed/what to look at if Magnetic Media is not reconciling with Payroll Reconciliation Report..
Any insight into this will be highly appreciable.

Hi Charlene,
The Recommended way to Reconcile you tax fomrs is as follows.
1. Take the actual 941's submitted to authority.
2. Run 941 for all Quarters using SAP Tax reporter and Reconciliation report 941 application.
3. Run W-2 in Tax reporter and take copy of W-3 and 6559
4. Run Reconciliation report using W-2 Application.
Now first match the all 941 totals for all Taxable and Taxes with W-3 total. Then match your W-3 with 6559.
Remember the totals on your final report has to match by penny to penny. If there are any 941-C take them also into consideration.

Fluid grid with added media queries not working with {display: none}
Fluid grid layout using added media queries to fix break points will not use {display:none} properly. When I try to hide a div in moble view it hides the div in all views. I was able to hide the div using width: 0% which works in all browsers except for Safari.

Overdrive Media console not working with iTunes when transferring audiobooks. Some parts don't transfer.
Robin, I have the 4S too. Here's wha I've been doing. Well, I am downloading wma books, but it is super time consuming and annoying. First, shut off genius in your preferences in iTunes. Also change to spoken podcast for speed. Then, you start to transfer from Overdrive. It will create a playlist with your book title. Open up books though because you need to keep an eye on it. It may download like three parts and then you may have a grey one. When you get the grey, cancel the transfer, delete the greyed part, exit iTunes, re-enter iTunes, and then try to download the remaining book parts. I usually have to re-enter iTunes three or four different times during a book. When your book is downloaded, all black and none grey, open up the playlist folder and double check that all parts made it in there. If not, carry them from the books folder to the playlist and then move it into numerical order.
Re non bookmarking problem. I now have a new habit of checking what part I am on before i shut off my phone or switch to another book. It does save where you were, it just doesn't show you. For instance, if I start part three and then play music, and then go back to the book playlist, it will appear as if we are back to the beginning, but if I go to part three, it will start up from where I was. So, just start checking and then it is easy. I am flabbergasted that no other proper solution has been offered by Overdrive. This has been a problem since October. I also wish they would acknowledge the problem on their website as well as post what version number of update they have. I have 3.2.1.0 and think that's current. Does anyone have newer than this. Good luck, and happy commuting!
An easy, quick workaround is to plug external speakers into your laptop and take it with you in the car. A bit unwieldy, but I can't commute without books. -
Payroll Reconciliation Report - HR ABAP --- Urgent
Hi Guys,
I am having a doubt regarding a standard report very commonly used in HR Reporting in SAP.
How does it selects the Payroll Results from the cluster ? Based on which date ...?
Is it Check Date/Payment date or some other date ?
Actually I have a requirement where i need to fetch the amount for a wagetype.
In this I need to fetch the values of that wage type based on the check date, i.e. when the company has paid the amount to the person.
I have to fetch the amount of this wage type for all the payroll runs :
1 - Regular
2 - Retro.
3 - Offcycle.
I have used the Payroll Reconciliation Report and exporting the final total table which has all the results for the wage type selected on the selection screen for the person between a particular start date and end date.
But I want to be sure that this way I will get the accurate results.

Hi Experts,
Can you please resolve this:
1) Payroll was run for pay-period 12.2008 (2008.12.01 - 2008.12.31)
FI Posting completed and Net pay paid out via check too.
2) This payroll of pp 12.2008 was reversed on 9thJan 2009. through Off-Cycle
3) HR FI Financial was processed and all necessary reversals for the reversed off cycle payroll was processed too.
Issue: When executing the Payroll Reconciliation Report, it is including the reversals from the last payroll of Dec 2008 but should not, as the reversals were from a 2008 period and should not be on a 2009 Report.

In the payroll reconciliation report:
In one variant i am giving period selection i.e. pp 01.2009
In another variant I am giving date selection i.e. 2009.01.01 - 2009.01.31
In both the cases the report is pulling data for the voided result of 2008. However If I select and check 'Process Last Result Only' in the selection screen, the result is coming fine i.e. the voided result of 2008 is not showing up.
However my client says that she needs to run this report on a quarterly basis by. So Pay period will not work to run this report. Also if 'Process Last Result Only' is checked, then the report might not pick the retro's.

We recently updated our 6.04 system to SP74. Now when we run a Payroll Reconciliation Report with wage type application C941, we get a hard error message as follows: "You must include the corresponding /4XX wage type". Also same error on CCW2 and TAXT wta.
I have checked table VC_596A_F and it has entries for Y401 - Y406, with corresponding entries for /401 through /406 for all the listed wta's above.
Any thoughts on what I could check next to find this problem solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MBA 13" media buttons not working with iTunes
I just got my mba 13" and everything is great, but for some reason the media buttons do not work with itunes. I've tried them with vlc and other applications and they work fine. Any ideas how I can fix this?

No, it didn't work fine with VLC. Whenever I pressed "play/pause", it'll trigger iTune and the media buttons become the controller for both applications at the same time.

I am facing one issue while running the trusted incremental reconciliation in OIM 11g.
In the bulkEvent of the event handler I am checking if the operation is MODIFY then I am comparing some attributes and based of that result I am performing some action.
Now the issue is that if the first name or last name of the users gets changed in OIM due to trusted reconciliation then the Change First Name or Change Last Name Process task should get execute on the resources provisioned to the user. This is not happening in my case.
I tried modifying the first name of the user via UI and then the Change First Name Process task got executed.
Please let me know if I need to do some thing extra to get this working.

Try creating a custom adapter and attach the adapter to the process task which you have created. This adapter should read the user profile value and populate in the AD provisioning form. Then test the flow for one attribute. As I am suspecting that there would be an issue with OOTB adapter.

Media webpart not compatible with IE 11?
Hello,
I'm using the media webpart on SharePoint 2013. Using Internet Explorer 10 I can see the media tab in the ribbon when editing the media webpart. With Internet Explorer 11 the media tab is not visible until I set the media url property of the webpart.
Changing the document mode from 10 (Standard) to Edge in Internet Explorer 11 emulation also shows the tab.
Is this a know bug? Is there another workaround?

Close to returning my new Curve. The Roxio Media Manager will not recognize my Curve at all. I have tried everything, read every post and still nothing. Using version 4.3 of Desktop Manager with Vista Home Premium. Someone please help...
Thanks for any helpSame issue here. Contacted Verizon tech support, they had me reinstall media manager -- which did nothing. They had me try disabling mass media support and the media card support. Neither which worked. After 90minutes on the phone, the tech was contacting their "advanced support department" to get more info. I got fed up and hung up. Maybe they will call me back -- who knows.
The tech said that they might have to contact RIM to get it fixed. I am thinking verizon inadvertantly blocked media transferring -- like they do on all of their other phones. However, VCAST is not available on Blackberry phones for Verizon, so it is a stupid idea if they did it. -
Directv media share not working with S4(4.4.2)
Directv media share is not working on my S4. The phone is recognized but is unable to share media. Function worked fine with Droid Razr Maxx HD.
If the same exact app and code works with 4.0 with the same ForeignKeyDeleteAction setting, I suggest that you open a case with support.

Media Browser not loading with Aperture 3.1
I upgraded to Aperture 3.1 with the automated software update and have come across a debilitating problem - the media browser can no longer load Aperture photos. When I click on Aperture the browser that shows up in a standard file open dialog window just has a spinning grey circle. Media from iPhoto or iMovie will load, so it's something specific to Aperture after upgrading. This is a big deal - are there any recommended solutions? Have others comes across this problem with Aperture 3.1?

Media Manager not working with Slideshows
I just set up Media Manager and it is running properly on my PC. The problem is when I run the slide show on my TV, I only get about 10-15 pictures in to the slide show and it exits and states "Device Unavailable" Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, ever since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite/iTunes 12 back in October I have been unable to use the back, forward, and play/pause buttons with music playback on iTunes. I've tried an SMC reset with no luck and I'm not really sure what to look for in keyboard settings that might help. Thanks in advance!Howdy PigJiggin,
