  • Apple iTunes U Contact for Business Development

Hello,  I would like to talk with an Apple iTunes U Product Manager or Business Development Manager.  Does anyone have a contact they can provide?  Thank you.

Apple typically does not make such information public. In general most inquiries are routed through the institution's local Apple account executive. If you'll tell us the general nature of what it is you wish to know or discuss, though, perhaps someone can offer a suggestion as to how to make an appropriate contact.

  • Object Link to CRM business object in Trex search result list

    Hello Everyone,
has anybody sucessfully configured the functionality "Object Link Properties" which is described in the Document <a href="http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000647974&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000112&_OBJECT=011000358700005796662005E">Configuring the Business Package for SAP CRM 5.0 SP01 (EN)</a> on Page 169? I'm not the Knowledge Management specialist and would get some help on this topic. Has anybody detailed steps how to configure this?
It shounds interresting as the result would be that when the User does a full text search for Attached Documents he will also get a link to the original CRM business object like Activity, Account or Opportunity.

    Hi Gregor,
    Thanks for your reply.
using windows explorer mechanism i can see the folders that i created in the CRM config.
Now in Portals KM i did the following steps:
    a) Created an HTTP Data Source : with URL = the URL that the service crm_prt_km_dav generates.
    http://abrusux156h.pch.chem.corp.local:8086/sap/crm/crm_prt_km_dav
    b)Created a memory cache
c)Created a WebDAV respository manager with the following details:
    Description :WebDAV
Prefix : /PRD  (PRD is the BO Hierarchy name that i have set in the CRM config)
System ID : T86 (Sames as what was set in HTTP Data Source)
    Repository Service : svc_acl
    ACL Manager cache : ca_cm
    Security manager : ACLSecurityManager
Memory Cache :webDAV(same as what i had set in step b)
I restarted the portal server. and then tried doing the test by going to
    Content Admin ->KM Content ->root
But i dont see the /PRD folder out there.
    Any clues on that???
    Thanks,
    Anand

  • CRM Business Pkgs

    Hi Gurus,
I am facing some problem with CRM business Packages. I am using Customer role “com.sap.pct.crm.customer”, and for this system definition (SAP_CRM) is defined correctly.
Whenever user login to portal, he see an error message
“Your session is no longer valid. Log on Again”.
As a work around I have developed a custom URL iView talking to B2b application and assigned that to the user. Now whenever user goes to Customer Role, it still sees the error message but when he uses custom URL iView and select a shop and  sold-to-party, the customer role iView start working that is they start showing data related with that shop and Sold-to-party. Which gives me an impression that Customer role iView’s are looking for some default “Shop” and “Sold-to-party” (I know I am not correct here).
But useradmin iView in customer role (setup -> useradmin) is not dependent on any default values and is also behaving in same manner,  mean on first occasion it won’t work but when I go to useradmin URL custom iview, it starts working.
Is I am missing something? We are creating user thru ISA (UME) which is creating users in backend CRM box and is creating user in portal (actually it is creating users only in UME) and assigning portal role using ume-config.xml file.
Can any one put some light.

    Any Clue?????

If you are interested in doing some contract work, we can talk. Feel free to send a resume, references, certifications, specialties and anything else that would be useful. Just be sure to indicate you are interested in remote contract work.

  • Sizing for SAP BCM (Business Communication Management)

    Hi All
We have to provide a server sizing to be used for SAP BCM (Business Communication Management) module which will be intergrated with SAP CRM and is to be used for call support. As far as we have reached, we require a Windows server and will host MS SQL database with an approx consumer data of 63 lacs consumers.
Please specify the sizing for this server
    Thanks in advance
    Lokesh

Sorry, forgot to ask how much physical memory you have on each host.
Let's split it to 2 topics.
    1. For ECC, since OracleDB and non-unicode page which are the 2 major factors won't be changed, so I would think here we could just do a math, as long as host A has enough memory which is allocated for Oracle and ECC (extended memory) on host B to be added up.
    2. For EP, memory tuning size is basically the same for HP JDK and SUN JDK, that each server node is allocated approximately 2.5GB RAM. Besides, 0.8-1GB RAM needs to be left for OS kernel. But in your case, host B is currently holding 200 users which is a big jump for host A(note: only active user quantity matters here).
That's fine if main physical memory is a little short for host A, utilizing multiple less powerful servers as 2nd tier application server to do the load balancing is also a solution with lower TCO.

I think the "Office 365" in the second paragraph should be Outlook 2013 in this customer's post.
