Maiking a payment using a credit card
I have a paypal account with a linked credit card. I have a billmelater bill I would like to pay using that credit card. Both paypal and billmelater keep asking me to link to my checking/savings bank with a routing number. Credit cards do not have routing numbers. I thought paypal accepted credit card payments... I know billmelater does not. How do I go about making a payment to billmelater, through paypal, by using my credit card? Thank you.
Olivia,Thank you for replying. Again spent way too much time following the directions you gave. "My Money" is under a different name. When I finally found preapproved payments, my bill wasn't listed. Again looped around BillmeLater (paypal credit) to no avail. After again getting very frustrated, I called to find out that Paypal does NOT accept credit card payments!!! Nor does billmelater. I find this so utterly hard to believe that I find myself regretting using paypal. But again, thank you for replying.ibjill

Error when trying to cancel an incoming payment using a Credit Card
I have searched and tried several things but I cannot seem to cancel an incoming payment when the credit card tab was used. I have tried to cancel before deposits, after the deposit (cancelling the deposit and then trying to cancel the inc. payment) but I still get the error. I have yet to see any post that will give a good process on how to fix this error.
I did change the general settings for the credit voucher from automatic to manual in hopes that this will help future postings but I need the prior ones corrected that were made with the credit voucher option set to automatic.Hi Joanne

Perhaps the easiest solution is changing the server date and making the operations to cancel the incoming payment.

If ios 5.1.1 on iPad 1 is no longer supported, is the device safe to use for credit card payments?
I know the reasons why Apple no longer update IOS for Ipad 1.
Due to end of life support, no bug fixes for older apps and constant vulnerabilities being exploited, does this now make the device insecure and vulnerable? either information stored on the device or (especially) when making credit card payments through Safari, etc.
Thanks in advance,I would say your biggest issue isn't as much your operating system as it is the network you use your device on. For example the most secure device in the world can be used at McDonalds open wifi and have its info intercepted....and it's not your device's fault rather the connection. Any security program is only as good as its weakest component.
THe iOS operating systems are still very secure because they are highly resistent to viruses and malware....but a user can still click on that 'you won a million dollars' link in an e-mail and hand their personal info over to a hacker.
If you feel you can no longer trust it, then stop using it. But I would say a user's internet connection and behavior are larger security vulnerabilities than any device. -

Please contact support via this link and they will help you with this issue. They will need your friend's username/email address and the last 4 digits on your payment card. If you are unsure of the email address/username that your friend uses, the team will need some more info from you.
In that case, it would be helpful to include a screenshot of your last charge, the first 6 digits on your card and the last 4 digits. This should help the agent locate the payment in our server. They may need to ask for a transaction reference from your bank (if they cannot find it on the main server). They will explain what they need.
You can contact us in German or English - but it may be a bit quicker to use English as then any advisor can pick it up :P -

How did you create the account ? If you followed the instructions on this page when creating it then you should have got the 'none' option : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
e.g. on a computer's iTunes, if currently signed into an account then you logged out of it, and you then found a free app in the store and clicked on its free 'price' :
And then clicked on 'create Apple id' on the popup :
When I tried that process to create an account a few days ago I got the 'none' option on the payment details screen.
If you didn't use that process then you will need to create a new account using it (the instructions won't work with an existing account). -

and as regards the balance, first make sure you didn't make any in-app purchases. Many "free" apps, particularly games, have additional levels or features that cost money. Check your purchase history in your iTunes Store account and see what you're being charged for.

I have been making in-app purchases with PayPal for over a year. Now I cannot. I changed my payment method to Credit card, but still can't. I can purchase music in itunes but no game purchases. My ID was disabled after a paypal dispute but after an entire evening on the phone with support and security, that was resolved. Any suggestions? If I have to spend more time on the phone with support, I will. But I would rather not.

I want to use free apps on Ipad 2, but it continually asks me to submit a credit card in Itunes. I do not wish to purchase anything apps or music. I am only interested in free apps. If I were to make purchases, I would use a prepaid card like an itunes card or an app card, but NEVER a credit card. I can't seem to bypass this option of using a credit card and need to. I have another Ipad 4 and have never needed to use my credit card to migrate past itunes to use any apps. How do I get past this credit card request and still use my ipad 2. According to my Ipad 2, if I don't plug in a credit card, I can't even use free apps which is stupid.
You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps -
