Mail 4.3 notification

Hi All
i use mail for my work emails and it used to get a red circle on the icon on my dock which would indicate i had mail.
but now it isn't doing this. so apart from actually opening my inbox every 10mins to see if i have mail i don't appear to get notified.
can anyone suggest how to get that red circle back?

Have you checked the setting is still in Mail?
Mail > Preferences > General
Dock unread count - set to Inbox Only.
If this is set to None, you will not get the indication in the Dock

From my experience, this is affecting BIS, BES, and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to internet data, etc.). Troubleshooting specific problems during this outage may be pointless.
Once the outage clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, please try these steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

How to change the text mail of Workflow Notification?

Hi all,
I would like to change the text mail of workflow notification. I took a look at the Help Sap and saw how to customize the text mail notification. Unfortunately, I could not found the text for workflow Notification at notificationTexts_<language>.properties.
Is possible to change the text mail of Workflow Notification?

WHy do I get this message "MAIL 1,522 notifications" ??

I'm regularly getting these crazy mail notifications, such as the one below— "MAIL 1,522 notifications" —in the upper right of my screen. I have an Air with 10.9.2 OS.
This has been going on since the last upgrade, and I get the messages several times p/day, usually there is no mail, much less thousands of new notifications. WTH?

One other thing to try is Check for new messages and set it to Manually.
Failing that, you can disable the notifications altogether in System Preferences/Notifications /Mail

One point voice mail not sending notification to cell phone

I have been through the prompts to set up one point voice mail and even have entered the phone number to send notification to but never receive and such service. Voice mail does work and the prompt is in place asking for notification number and time to do so but again no such service.

Call your phone number from your phone and when they prompt to change password you can select set up password. You will be able to set your password and review them on your phone.

Yahoo! Mail - No PUSH NOTIFICATIONS From Sleep Via Wi-Fi - Is There A Fix?

I'm a power user, 100% positive I've got all the settings correct in the iPad. Push is turned to 'on', I've been to the Advanced screen and made sure that Yahoo is individually set to Push as well. While I have the 3G model since Friday's release, I have not set up an ATT account, have Cellular Data turned off. I've got strong wi-fi at work and at home, so no need for ATT yet.
When I am actively using the iPad, I'll hear the 'ding' and see that I've got new Yahoo Mail. Push works in that scenario. But when the iPad has been sitting with its backlight off, in Sleep on the counter for, say, 20 minutes, I'll hear my iPhone (connected to ATT, not wi-fi) ding-ding-dinging away with new mail notifications while my iPad stays silent.
Is Yahoo Mail push simply not supported via wi-fi? Is it not supported by the iPad at all?
I've read many other posts in this forum from other frustrated Yahoo Mail users. Is there a fix?

If I put my iPhone into Airplane mode and then turn on WiFi (effectively making it WiFi only) then Yahoo Mail push won't work. It doesn't matter if the phone is awake or not.
Yahoo actually states that push mail will only work for the iPhone if you are connected to a carrier. See their troubleshooting guide.
That said, I don't know if this was changed for the iPad or not.
Yahoo Push mail appears to be broken today anyway. At least I'm not getting push notifications on either of my Yahoo accounts.

Add text in mail for payment notification RFFOAVIS_FPAYM

We are sending payment notification to vendors via RFF0AVIS_FPAYM program. We are using SAP script form for this.
We want to add text in mail body. I have checked note 1033893. I have created text with name z* in SO10 and assigned in process exit for 00002040. But text is not appearing in mail.
Am i missing some settings ?

Mail Delivery System Notifications won't go away

Hi all
Tiger 10.4.11, MacBook Pro, Apple Mail.
I have several Mail Delivery Status Failure notifications that I cannot get rid of. I delete them, they go in the trash, but I go into any other mail box and when I come back to the inbox, there they are again. Right now I have 5 separate messages, all exactly the same. The problem is that I e-mailed someone something that was too big for their server and got this as a notification. But I can't get rid!
I've junked my envelope index, and re-imported and rebuilt the mailbox. I've deleted off my server (they don't re-appear there) and can't think what else to try.
Any help please?

I have now sorted this out - any kind of deleting didn't work, but using the "cut" command from the mail menu bar did.

Need to send some notifications by mail (not all notif)

We run workflow embeded into EBS (11.5.10.2 4RUP). We have a custom workflow that uses Role (WF_LOCAL_ROLES) connected to employee register (ORIG_SYSTEM = 'PER' and orig_system_id = (person_id in per_all_people_f). we get the Role in the db package that starts the workflow and set it to the attribute Recipient.
I assume there are standard notifications (WF) that are sent to these roles. the roles have a notification_preference = 'SUMMARY' because the administrators/user do not want the system to send many e-mails but a summary e-mail and the user should check theis notif in Applications.
But... an here is the but....our specifc custom workflow creates a notification that we would like to send as an e-mail. what can we do?
The mails should be sent specific to users/employees induvidually. I mean the e-mail is specicif constructed per employee, so it is not a good idea to create a Role that connect many users or something. Can we create new roles specific per user/employee with notification_preference = 'MAILHTML' (or other mail pref)??
Would this work without intefiering with the other role. I need help to understand this functionality and how to get this to work. Thank you in advance!

Hi,
The only way that I can think of to do this would be to create an ad-hoc user at runtime which has an email preference set to MAILHTML (or any other preference that sends an email), and an email address set to the email address of the recipient. This would then send an email to the employee, and when the emails have been sent then you can purge the ad hoc directory so that you don't end up with lots of obsolete roles in the database.
The downside of this is that there is no way for anyone to see the notification from within eBS. Because it isn't sent to the employee, it would not appear in their worklist, which may or may not be acceptable to the business. One possible workaround would be to create another ad-hoc role, and asssign both the employee user and the ad-hoc user to the role, and expand the role on the notification so that multiple copies are sent (one to each member of the role). If the notification requires a response, then you need to write a post notification function to deal with the possibility of multiple responses, which makes the solution more complex still.

You can achieve this by using "Followup actions" in Q-Notifications.
Go to SPRO --> QM --> Q Notifications --> NOtifications Processing --> Add Notification Functions --> Define Functions for the Action Box. REfer to SAP standard Notifications- F2 / Q2 which have follow-up activity to "Send Email".
FM - QM06_FM_TASK_SEND_PAPER_ATTACH is being mentioned in standard SAP settings. You can even define your own and get to the requirement.

Sender receiving endless mail delivery system notifications

For the past 25 hours (or so) a friend has been receiving REPEATED messages from Mail Delivery System saying:
"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipeints is still under way after 25.6 hour(s.): [email protected] Will keep trying and contact you if the message can't be delivered permanently."
How can I/she stop these? She eventually resent the message and all is well, but that original notification regarding the original message is still out there and driving her crazy. DOZENS of these things are being sent by Mail.

You can't. Eventually they'll time out and stop. Meanwhile you can create a Mail rule to delete the notices automatically.

Workflow Send Mail when Quality Notification is Complete

Hi All,
I need help related to QN Workflow, which is copy of standard workflow WS24500047.
In this case , when all tasks are marked completed and get stated TSCO in QM02, against individual tasks.
But, on completion of tasks, no mails is being sent to the coordinator, presently.
A mail should be sent to the coordinator, in case all tasks are released and marked as completed.
Please suggest how do I implement the above functionality.

We have resolved the issue.
Problem was with the configuration settings
We had to do config settings in 3 places:
1) SPRO/ Quality Management / Quality Notifications / Notification Processing / Activate Workflow template / Click on Activate event linking/ Place cursor on task group / click Object button / select tab workflow template and add the custom workflow / Go back and then open the workflow from the list and activate the events
2) Add the events in transaction SWE2 for the custom business object.
3) Add the events in the transaction BSVW for the custom busines object.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
While you are able to reply to messages and emails from the Notification Center, you are not able to delete email via the Notification Center. If you want to delete your email it will have to either be done via Mail, or the Banner notification that pops up when the email arrives.

Either that, or someone is forging your reply address on mail that wasn't sent from your account at all. To tell the difference, you would have to log into your mail account on the Web and check for unusual activity.

Add mail to push notifications but no notification

On my iPhone 4S, I added mail to my push notifications, picked 'Alerts' for alert style, with Badge App Icon, Show Preview and View in Lock Sreen 'on', but I've already received several emails but no alert. What must I do?

Perhaps this isn't a bug ? If your users have activated substitutes, the substitute could have executed/reserved the workitem(s) in question before the user enters his SAP inbox, then it would be empty
