Mail a single page as pdf

I have an extensive workbook that I use in communicating with members of my team. I have a weekly chart that I email to my team and it is using vlookup data from other pages in my document. The struggle that I am having is: I cannot figure out how to simply send the weekly page to my team instead of the entire workbook.
When the information is gathered, I go to share > mail as pdf and it puts the whole workbook in pdf form in an email. I don't want that. So to make it do what I want, I have to export the entire workbook as a pdf and then go through and physically delete the unwanted pages (which are many). It seems that there should be a way to streamline this.
I was previously using Microsoft Excel on my last Macbook Pro and it allowed me to save a single page of my workbook for emailing. That was much more handy that having to go through and delete pages.
Is there a simple way to do what I want to do, namely, send a single page of my workbook out to my team?

Yes, read the user guides !
Go to the print driver.
Define the page to print
Print in a PDF file !

• E-mail a Single Page from a PDF document.

How do you e-mail a single page from a PDF document that has multiple pages? When I go to File > Attach E-mail in Adobe it e-mails the whole document and I do not want that. I just want to e-mail selected pages and not the whole document. How can I do that in Adobe Acrobat?
I have Adobe Acrobat Standard version 8, Windows XP Professional SP3.

You need to extract it first as a new PDF. You can do so using Document - Extract pages...

Hey vcomfort6,
Please ensure that you are using Adobe Acrobat and not Reader to convert PDF file to word or excel.
Could you tell me whether it is a scanned document? Does this happen with all PDFs or any specific one?
Do you get any error message? What exactly happens when you try doing the same?
Hope to hear from you.

• Send a single page in PDF format

I have numbers on my Mac. I can single out a page to send to email as a pdf. I am not finding that option on my iPad. It wants to send the entire spreadsheet which contains information that I don't want to share. I have created a spreadsheet that has my project estimates, descriptions, proposals, job cost breakdowns and invoices. These are all on separate sheets. How can I send just the invoice or any other single sheet in PDF format on iOS Numbers?

As far as I know there is no direct way to do this.
However, if you download goodnotes, you can export your PDF to that app, delete any unwanted material, then send.

• How to save ONE single page of pdf document?

I have a 115 page pdf document that I can open in Adobe Reader. I want to email just ONE page of this file to someone. How do I save just that one page from the file (as opposed to sending the entire pdf document)?
I know, lame question. Thanks for any help!

If you're on a mac forget about Acrobat on Lion (maybe even Snow Leopard and Leopard too). I ran into this issue on Lion so here I am....
you have to go through the routine of "printing to",, With Acrobat go to the printer preferences panel > select pdf, select save as pdf... only to find you cannot and get some even more riduclous and useless pop up telling you to chose file save as.... which only lets you save the entire document! Utter
waste of time and space...and not what you are after.
Solution... Open the pdf with Preview, then Cmd + P will bring up the same dialog box mentioned above with pdf down bottom left... First enter the page number into the pages option's From dialog... eg From 40 to 40 (= page 40 only) then hit the pdf bitton and dave as,,, Works perfectly with Preview but no chance with Acrobat!!!! I am starting to get the feeling that this product is fast becoming redundant as it seemingly is not up to basic operations such as printing or saving off a single page anymore. Plenty of freeware solutions are now available on the net - some of which I am quite sure would handle this... but since preview is installed on mac by default.... why not?
After all this have a good think abou whether you will or even need to Upgrade Acrobat the next time round. It seems the more 'advanced' Adobe get the more useless certain products are becoming.... Don't know if it's just me...
UPDATED Sept 11
Seems there is a way to print a single page with Acrobat X.. but not at all as straightforward as mentioned above...
You need to go View>Tools> Extract, then select the page you want and save it as a seperate pdf. Then open the new pdf and print that... Wonderfully intuitive on Adobe' s part....

• Single page exportation pdf

Hello!
I usually work on my Indesign document double spreaded and what I need to send to my printer is a single page pdf with 3mm bleed. Bleed is related to the 4 sides of each single page: the side of the spine includes me a short bit 3mm of the other page's design.
Do we have a feature for it?
Thanks!!!

Here's an AS that works for me. Copy the script and paste into Script Editor.
tell application "Adobe InDesign CS2"
set allPresets to name of every PDF export preset
set thePreset to choose from list allPresets
if thePreset = false then
beep
error number -128
else
set the thePreset to item 1 of thePreset
end if
try
set thepath to (full name of document 1) as string
on error
set theDesk to path to desktop as string
set thepath to theDesk & (name of document 1) as string
end try
if thepath ends with ".indd" then
set thepath to text 1 thru -6 of thepath
end if
set pageCount to pages per document of document preferences of document 1
repeat with i from 1 to pageCount
set page range of PDF export preferences to i as string
export document 1 to file (thepath & "-" & i & ".pdf") format PDF type using PDF export preset thePreset without showing options
end repeat
beep
display dialog "Finshed." buttons {"OK"} default button 1
end tell
Copy the ID doc you want to make single page pdf files of in its own folder. Open the ID doc, then run the script from Script Editor. The script will operate on the front most ID doc and place the pdf files in the same folder the ID doc is in. Not real sophisticated, but it works for me.

• Export single Pages (as PDF) from a .indd file

Hi folks
i use ID CS2 and i'm trying to export single pages from an indd file (using C#).
i tried to make an example first and thats my code so far:
InDesign.Application App = (InDesign.Application) COMCreateObject("Indesign.Application");
InDesign.Document doc = App.ActiveDocument;
InDesign.Page page = (InDesign.Page)doc.Pages[1];
doc.Export(IdExportFormat.idPDFType, @"C:\indesignTestFile.pdf", false, "[High Quality Print]", "Some Comment", true);
Now it says that the IdExportFormat command is not known.
any suggestions would be very great.
kind regards

thx for the quick answer. this piece of code is from a sample and i changed id to this one:
in the very top of the program - using InDesign (so that the idExportFormat works)
doc.Export(idExportFormat.idPDFType, "C:\\indesignTestFile.pdf", false, //object using)
now i have no idea what i should enter at object using
could you explain that to me a little bit further? do i have to make a constant var that has the value 1952403524 and then use idExportFormat.idPDFType as well or idExportFormat(1952403524)?
i haven't progged a while and i feel a little bit dumb right now =D so sorry for this newbie questions.
thanks for your help, i realy appreciate that
kind regards

• Is there a way to use Text Anchors and Hyperlinks to create a single-page interactive PDF?

We are trying to emulate the functionality of a website, by creating a series of clickable buttons at the top that would take you to different locations within the page (it's 80" long). This seems to be only possible within multi-page documents, but not single-page documents.

I have created a tutorial on how to setup domain name masking using cpanel and other popular web hosting control panels.
You need to edit the zone file settings in the Web Host Manager of Cpanel (WHM) a very popular web hosting control panel.
Main > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone > Choose Zone to Edit
Unless you have a reseller hosting account or are a server administrator, you will not be able to access this file directly. Just contact your web hosting support rep and they will gladly change it for you.
see the screenshot of zone file changes

• E-Mailing a single page of a .pdf file.

I am trying to e-mail one page a of several hundred page document to an e-mail address and am coming up with nothing.
I try to print the page with the Adobe printer, to create a new .pdf file with only that page on it, but it keeps erroring out on me.
Anyone have any ideas?

If you have the Adobe PDF printer, you presumably also have Acrobat,
not Reader? If so, use Document > Extract pages.

• MB2320 - Scanning multi-page documents and saving as a single, page-consecutive PDF

I just purchased and set up a Maxify MB2320 to replace my PIXMA MX892, which fell victim to the dreaded "Incorrect Printer Head - U062 Error." My only disappointment thus far is the replacement of "MP Navigator" with "Canon Quick Toolbox" and the unavailability of ADF-AutoDuplex scans. My problem: I've searched the instructions, tried the "Document," "Custom," and "ScanGear" utilities and cannot figure out how to scan multiple-page documents, have the scanned images appear in a single place where they can be put into sequential order, and save the whole mess into a single PDF file that can filed and saved in a folder designated by me. I'd very much appreciate a step-by-step tutorial on how to do that. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your prompt response and suggested solution. It worked! (One of the reasons I got lost is that the CSR I spoke to when I called initially sent me straight to the "ScanGear" tab in the "IJ Scan Utility," rather than "DocumentScan" (not "ScanDocument.") Couple other observations. When I installed the utilities onto my laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium SP-1, the shortcuts were installed to the Hidden Icons Folder in the System Tray, not the Desktop; I can pin the utility to the taskbar or add it to the Start Menu, but I can't create a shortcut for the Desktop by right-clicking. Also, after scanning two double-sided pages manually for the saved PDF, I was able to rearrange the pages into proper order mostly because the pages were graphically distinct enough to tell them apart in the thumbnails. This would be impossible for pages that are all-text, since the thumbnail images are so small. Is there a way to make the utility windows any larger, or otherwise make the thumbnail images readable? Thanks again.

• Open single page e-mailed pdf in another app.

I like to e-mail .pdfs to myself for opening in other apps, such as FileApp where I keep relevant documents for reference, or GoodNotes, where I may do a mark up on them.  This works fine for multi-page pdfs, but where I e-mail a single page pdf, it just shows up in the e-mail, instead of as an attachment that can be opened in another app.  Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Same problem here. TAP and HOLD does not show the option to OPen Wth... Another App.
Could you please confirm you don't have this problem?
Just email yourself a one-page PDF file with text in it, and see if you can open it in another app such as iBooks.

• How to split a parallell-page PDF into single-page PDF

My situation: I have a few hundred pages of files I made quite a few years ago, optimized for "self-publishing" via the printer. I no longer have any source files (my own bad). These files have 2 pages next to each other in an A4 landscape PDF. I would like to change and combine these files into a US Letter portrait PDF.
I have browsed earlier, similar threads, most notably the most referred to thread:
http://forums.adobe.com/message/3331516
which recommends using Adobe PDF printer. However, as this thread points out, and as I for one have found on my own system (10.8.3), Adobe PDF printer is no longer an option on Mac OS X (version 10.6 and on):
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/556366
So the question then is: How do we now split double-page landscape PDFs into single-page portrait PDFs?

Since at least OSX.5 adobe has removed PDF Printer which was begining to fail it was written in Adobe's altered version of javascript and it was a wonder it was working to begin with They replaced it with an Automator action that's called up through the print Driver.
Here are the steps for applications other than Acrobat.
create you doucument. laying it out the way you want it.
Go to Print menu.
click and hold the pdf button - a context menu pops up.
now scan the list of choices and choose Adobe PDF or Adobe Quality PDF (depends on version of OS)
wait for direction fields to come up and make the desired choices (the first screen is basically job options).
when asked ask for name either ecept name give or choose name of your choice.
Browse to desired location for file
then click save.
How the PDF is layed out in acrobat is determinedby acrobat. Adobe add an additional Layer on top of the Print Driver. You can by pass it and use the Print Driver but if there is an orientation switch in your docment the page is turned so everything comes out with same edge of Paper
Oh, look out for a Grand idea Adobe did that even Forest Gump would have left alone.
If you want to do duplex printing to a PDF with more than one page you won't be able to do so whether you have your printer setup for duplex printing. You can go back and forth from printer setting s to Printer setting toggling off and on til you turn blue in the face. You have to go into the document properties and loo for a command called SIMPLEX printing its on by default and needs to be turned off. Even my cat Boots would be smart enough not to put that in.
This settinging does not permanently turn off and you have to do with each document you create or resave.

• Spreads and single pages export to pdf

Hi
I have a document that is laid out as spreads 2 a4's next to each other. ie the back page is shown as the first with the front page as page 2.
I need to export for both single page pdf electronic copy (ie front cover currently page 2 as page 1 of the pdf.)
I also need to export the file as a printable spread. Back page as page 1 of pdf.
This is all doable at the moment except when i export the single page electronic pdf (uncheck spread in the export options) it gives me the last page as the first of the pdf. Is there a way i can reorder these to make what is currently page 1 as the last.
hope this makes sense.
thanks Job

When you say "printable spreads" I take it you don't mean imposed into the correct order for binding, but just reader's spreads printed onto a single sheet for proofing or something similar.
Some additional details about how you use these spreads would be useful.
