Mail alert configuration at CCMS

HI All
       I want to configure the backup job completed log to be mailed an alert thru CCMS . Kindly give me the configuration steps in CCMS .

Step by Step information only lead to lazzyness and wont help you to learn or to grow as a professional...

    Q6: I moved the Alert Server to a different host. Why don't I receive any alerts anymore?
    A6: In the transaction SM59 check the R/3 connection CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts.If it doesn't point to the new Alert Server, delete it. It will be created automatically with the correct host when the next alert is created (provided the information in the Exchange Profile has been updated).
    Q7: How can I transport my Alert Categories and my Alert Rules to a different system?
    A7: The Basis Alert Framework provides a menu Transport in the transaction ALRTCATDEF which allows you to create a transport request for the Alert Categories. However this works only if you have created the Alert Categories in the customizing client (c.f. the documentation of the Basis Alert Framework).     A10: This is due to an error in the Business Object Repository when the value of a container variable exceeds 255 characters. Please implement the correction described in note #947738.
    Q11: Why do I sometimes receive two alerts when an error happens in a receiver adapter?
    A11: This happens because two independant components of the Adapter Framework react simultaneously on the error. The problem will fixed with SP17.

  • Yahoo mail alert configuration on Nokia 6700 Class...

    I have been using 6700 classic for over a month and found the set very user friendly and handy. How ever I have two rather three issues. Can some one guide/elaborate?
    1. Is it possible to use loud speaker mode while listening to radio or one can hear radio on head set only?
    2. Group contact seems restricted upto 50 contacts only and max no. of contacts is 20 for bulk SMS. Is there a way out to include any no. of contacts in a group and SMS at one go to entire group as in Nokia 6630?
    3. I had set up yahoo mail alert using wizard. But due to recent re-setting of GPRS by BSNL I seem to have disturbed the default phone settings for configuring to receive yahoo mails in phone mail box. Can some one indicate all settings to configure my phone again?

  • E-Mail Alerts Configuration in PI ... BSP error

    Hi All
    Am configuring alert framework. Process till getting them in Alert Inbox is done. Now I wanna direct the alerts to my e-mail ID.
    Steps that i am doing :
    1. E-Mail ID added in SU01.
    2. SCOT configuration is done.
    3. Now under Alert Inbox(RWB) when i try to use the Personalization tab it throws a BSP error stating :
    BSP exception: Cannot start application sap/alertpersonalize_rules. Use transaction SICF to create application node. gsknoten an.

    Now I don't have enough time to contact the team(Honestly I don't even know if there's such a team  :P ). Hence thought of doing it myself. Am not bothered about accesses. I have any access required at my disposal. But I need the exact steps to be followed in SICF.

    Kindly suggest me how to get this Personalization tab (in RWB) activated.

  • Mails are not comming when error in Moni after alert configuration

    Hi PI Team,
    I want a Scenario Where if i get any Error for my Business Service i need an Mail to be triggered.
    Can any one suggest will it be better to use BPM for this. If so what are the steps for that?

  • E-Mail alerts for queues in SMQ2

    Hi,
    In a asynchronous IDOC->ABAP Proxy scenario, some of the  messages are getting stucked in the transaction SMQ2 in PI system.This happens only when we send 100 IDOCs to PI at the same time and only 5-10 messages are getting stucked with status as "Running". The remaining messages are processed and send to the target system.
    I would like to know a solution to trigger an E-mail alert to a specific Mail id if any messages gets stuck in the queue for more than 5 minutes.
    Do we need to configure CCMS to achieve this? If so, please let me know the steps.

  • XI Alert Categories in CCMS alert monitor

    We defined an alert category through ALRTCATDEF and we generate alerts using  SALRT_CREATE_LOCAL in the Graphical and Java mapping. We would like these alerts to be visible in CCMS alert monitor in addition to XI alert inbox. We have done config specified in the SAP documentation to get the RWB alerts in CCMS alert monitor, but only the alert categories for which alert rules are defined in RWB are visible, at the moment. IS this because we don’t have an alert rule for the alert categories called by  SALRT_CREATE_LOCAL,we are not able to see them in CCMS? Is there a way to get around this problem and get these alerts also in the CCMS ?

  • SAP XI Alert Configuration

    Dear Gurus,
    I have configured ALTRCATDER and given the name of the PI user as recepient in Fixed Receipents.
    RWB-> Alert Configuration I have Created rule also.
    Still I am not able to get alerts in my Alert inbox.
    I  just want to send internal alet to my alet inbox....
    I have some Questions in my mind.
    1: Is any SCOT Setting required.
    2: On Running SOST ,I am getting error information as
        Send method- Via internet
        Sender - XI uid
        Reciever - XI uid
    I am not sure how to test my configuratio. If I run report RSALERTTEST it gives me eroor as I have mentioned some external emai id in user profile fo PI user. No route defined to XI user id to external mail id...
    Please suggest....

  • Alert Categor in Alert Configuration

    Hi All:
    I created one Alert category(ALERT_TEST) from t-code ALRTCATDEF--CCMS Alerts, I am seeing this Alert category in RWB-Alert Configuration --Select Alert Category.
    I am seeing the Alert Category in Alert configuration, but when I am selecting it, its not appearing in Alert Category Text Filed(in Alert COnfiguration..below Description Text Field)
    I did ALert COnfiguration many times but I never faced such Problem.
    Can anyone tell me what will be the reason behind it??

  • VIP Mail alert sounds delayed on iOS8

    I have general Mail alerts enabled to display on the lock screen with no sound, but I have a sound assigned to VIP mail alerts.  This worked fine on iOS 7.  At work, I often have my phone sitting on my desk and have observed some odd behavior on iOS 8.  What I see on the lock screen when I get an email from a VIP is an alert with no sound.  The next email that comes in, regardless of who it is from, will usually get the VIP sound even though it should be silent.  I'll also hear the VIP Mail alert sound randomly but infrequently for no apparent reason, usually within a few minutes of a phone reboot.
    Here is how I have general Mail alerts configured:
    Show in Notification Center: off
    Notification Sound: None
    Badge App Icon: On
    Show on Lock Screen: On
    Alert Style When Unlocked: Banners
    Show Previews: On
    Here is how I have VIP Mail alerts configured:
    Show in Notification Center: off (this was actually on, I just turned it off, not sure if this will matter)
    Notification Sound: Aurora
    Everything else is the same as above.
    I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.0.2.  I believe I also saw this on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8 and 8.0.2 before I got my new phone.

    My VIP alert notifications and alert sounds on my iPhone now happen about 15-20 minutes after emails arrive on my Mac desktop for most of my email accounts.  VIP emails coming into my email accounts that allow push notifications show alerts immediately though.  This used to work fine - maybe the problem started happening after iOS 8 was installed.   Problem only seems to happen when phone screen is locked.

    I've configured the CCMS alert monitor in my entire landscape & I'm successfully getting alert mails from CCMS alert monitor (T-codes involved are RZ20 & RZ21).
    I want to activate the same functionality for my standby database. At least I want to configure the CCMS alert monitor for File System Utilization in my Standby database.
    Can any one guide me about the configuration setting for file system utilization in Standby Database through CCMS monitor.

    Highlevel steps:
    - Install the sapccm4x agent on the standby host
    - Register the agent to the CEN
    - In the agent home directory create a file like oscolfilter.ini In this file enter the filesystems you would like to monitor
    - Add the oscolfilter.ini file into the sapccmsr.ini file This is also located in the agent home directory
    - Create a MTE for filesystem monitoring in your CEN. Add the relevant monitor attribute there.
    - Assign autoreaction via RZ21

    I am looking to configure Local Alert Configuration with XI Server,
    It already had CCMS Alert Configurations in place, But the solution Manager
    is forwarding alerts related to all the Servers (ECC,CRM,BW,XI). It is becoming
    difficult to track the alerts of XI.
    So my question is is it possible to have 2 alert configurations with XI l ocal & Certral (CCMS)?.
    What are the effects if we have both.
    I think  it is possible to maintain xi specific alerts to specific mail ID's . But basis is finiding difficult in doing this.
    Let me know suggestions if you have any in this case.

    Yes you can have your own PI specific alerts.
    You do this via ALRTCATDEF (as stated earlier)
    You can edit the message header so you know if it's PI generated or if you log in as PISUPER to configure this then the sender will be PISUPER
    Alternatively, why dont you ask BASIS to turn off monitoring for XI and allow you do a more fine-tuned version of this monitoring.
    Or even better, dont create any local alerts but have BASIS finetune the central alerts so that the affected system is included in the subject header, also have them create roles for these systems and ensure messages are only sent to the impacted role. Blindly sending messages for all system to all system owners is really lazy config.

    You need to maintain the email address in SU01 for the particular user Id. Also you need to configure transaction SCOT for this.
