Mail Application text screwed up after drive recovery

Question

My hard drive directory structure became hosed and was causing kernel panics upon boot up. It wouldn't even start up from a CD or DVD. I mounted it as a firewire target disk on a second computer and tech tool deluxe on the apple care DVD didn't manage to do anything either. Finally Disk Warrior fixed everything back to where it was in a couple hours, which was very nice.
The only problem is that all the text in the application is weird. Weird like: If my Inbox used to be called "Inbox" it is now called "INBOXSPECIAL_MAILBOXNAME" Same with the other folders like Drafts and Junk. Additionally, in the meesage subject headers where it used to say "re:" it now says "REPLYSUBJECTSUFFIX" which is pretty annoying.

Since the diskwarrior repair, everything else scans the disk and says everythings fine. But there seems to be something wrong with mail.
What should I do?

Try this first:
Resetting User Account Permissions/ACLS (10.7 +)
1) Boot into your Recovery Partition holding down command + R at the startup chime
2) Select 'Terminal' from your Utilities Menu Bar
3) Type the following bolded command in: resetpassword
4) From the window that appears, select your boot volume and the appropriate user account
5) Select "Reset Home Folder Permissions and ACLS"
6) Click Save, close this pane and quit Utilities
7) Select your boot volume when presented with choose startup disk and reboot your machine
