Mail, appstore and itunes are not connected

Greetings from Sweden! At some point my Mac became very hot all the time. I googled the problem and found one solution to look into Activity monitor and see which process eats up a lot of memory. After Google Chrome, who used the most, I've found another one (sorry, don't remember its name). I switched it off and now I'm in big trouble.
My Mail is disconnected while I still can use the wireless internet. iTunes is hanging all the time.
I would appreciate any feedback with a possible solution. Thank you in advance!

It's that (I found this myself yesterday, after weeks of helplessness in solving the error 11556) whenever iTunes is updated, the Parental Controls in iTunes are, by default, set to 'enabled' mode! One needs to disable/unckeck this on the iTunes menu (under 'Edit' -->  'Preferences' -->  'Parental'). See the relevant discussion/thread here:https://discussions.apple.com/message/22473554#22473554

    hi, since the upgrade of my iphone ed ipad to iOS6 the bought section of my apps and musics in AppStore and iTunes is not avaiable and crashes or load forever....i've upgraded to iOS 6.1 beta 2 recently (i'm a developer), but nothing...had u the same problem? is it possibile the apple forgot to fix this big bug?

    Connect your iPod to any computer with iTunes installed, highlight your device and try syncing the apps only. If it doesn't work might have to restore through iTunes. With the new iTunes and iCloud beta, you can have the iTunes list what apps are missing on your device but if you had previously purchased in the past and then have iTunes install them. You should always get in the habit of backing up your iPhone whenever you do any firmware/OS updating/upgrading or transferring over to new device. I really really really really hope you can get back at least some of your old info. I will tell you this, I have been kicking myself in the butt for not routinely backing up my iPhone when my beautiful special iPhone 4 came up missing and had to revert back to my 3GS. iPhone 5 will be released in a few months so I am holding off on purchasing a new iPhone til then, not that I did so without reservation and a little bit of iPhone 4 withdraw.

    ok my ipod touch was jailbroken and it was a tethered jailbrake b4 it used to connect to my PC and my itunes with no issues but than my friend got me a AC adapter and i didn't use to charge my ipod on my PC anymore only if i needed some songs and stuff to add to it but than i ran out of bettery and i had to connect it so i can do the boot tethered and it never shows up at all and this took me already 2 days trying to get it fixed and still not workinh please someone help me fix this problem and if i have question: If i take it to apple store are they gonna fix it for me ? because its jailbroken and it does not connect to pc to run boot tethered . can they atleast restore it for me in the store becuase i will have no problem if it turns back on as long as i got the ac adapter pls heLP

    Apple will not help you fix your jailbroken iPod. Have you tried to place he iPod in recovery mode and then restore via iTunes.  For recovery mode:
    iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
    Next try DFU mode.

  • IOS 7.1 and " iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission." BUGGING ME NOW

    Checked the usb status and it sees an iphone ( 4s ) attached,
    Repaired disc permissions
    updated and reset iphone
    and itunes
    reinstalled mavericks from scratch
    phone alert saying " TRUST THIS COMPUTER?"
    hit trust
    same alert keeps appearing
    again and again
    itunes keeps wittling on about "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission."
    what the actual F*** is going on and can anybody help ??????

    Did you resolve this yet? It took me 3 hours on the phone with support over 2 sessions, but they found the solution.
    From the Finder menu:
    Go/Go to Folder...
    Enter: var/db/lockdown
    Select everything in folder and delete
    Restart computer
    Launch iTunes and plug in phone. It should work (that's what did it for us).

  • Ipod touch 4 and iTunes are not Friends

    I have a gen 4 iPod touch (64 gig), and for some reason, all of a sudden and without warning it will not back up or properly sync to iTunes.  I can’t determine if the problem is the iPod or the computer.
    I have a Gateway laptop running Windows 7 as the o/s.  I have completed virus checks and malware checks with no issues. 
    When the iPod is not connected and I start iTunes it will not load the iStore (no error message), but everything will function.  Once I connect my iPod it’s like everything goes into slow motion, and the sync times out.  I am running iTunes 10.5.1.  The iPod is on the previous version, but cannot update it because it times out.
    I have tried to uninstall iTunes (and all apple software) and re-install it.  I have even tried to install iTunes 10.3.1 and try to sync it, but I get a prompt that the library is of a newer version and is not compatible.
    I have tried to reset the iPod to its original settings without any true success. 
    For some reason and this may sound crazy, but once I uninstalled iTunes it seemed to me that my whole computer increased in speed.
    I would say that maybe the problem was a firewall issue, but I run AVG freeware (and the standard Windows security) and I do not see any sections with a list of software that has connection limitations.
    Any thoughts?

    Ok, I have determined that it is iTunes and not the device, because I connected an iPad to iTunes with the same reaction.  This in combination with the fact that iTunes will not bring up the iStore with or without a device attached.
    I have turned off the AVG, and the O/S security to see if that might free the connection but it proved ineffectual.
    I have tried uninstalling all Apple products again and reinstalling but this has not worked either.
    Is there anything I have not tried?  I would hate to have to format…

    I don't think it's a problem unique to yourself. I've read of a few different people who have had the same issue in the past month.
    I've posted the same reply before but for sake of ease, I'll repeat that in case someone who knows an answer is reading;
    I've had the exact same problem! I had an Apple TV 2 which worked fine, Got an ATV3 which initially worked but then this same thing happened. Brought it into the store and they swapped it for a new one, which again worked to begin with but now won't pick up wifi.
    I have a windows laptop, a macbook, an iPhone 4s and an iPad which all connect perfectly and without issue to my 120mb broadband.
    Has anybody found a solution? Is it something in the most recent OS update??

    If you decide to Restore you iPhone, then restart your computer, open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click the Restore button of iTunes.

    When i had setup icloud before i had to use a different email and password and now i can not retrieve nor update
    my account, it keeps telling me that my username and password is incorrect.

    Sign in with the correct user name and password for the iCloud account.
    This has nothing to do with them being "in sync".
    iCloud and iTunes accounts, which are simply Apple ID's, cannot be merged.  There is no way to merge Apple ID's.  If you chose to set up the device using one Apple ID for iTunes and another for iCloud, then that's the way it is.
    Alternatively, you could sign into iCloud with the same ID that is used for iTunes.  Whether this creates problems or not depends on how you currently have iCloud set up.

  • Outlook exchange e mail application and web application not connected

    Hello Everybody,
    We have issue with 3 of our clients machine that face the same problems.
    When they tried to launch outlook, the status of outlook application always showing that, "Trying to connect"
    and when we tried them to log on to outlook web application, there is nothing to log on..i had tried to log on with 3 difference browsers, but still not work.. other website as yahoo or gmail are working fine..
    We are using Microsoft Exchange.
    Could you let me know what is the real issues with that?

    Thanks so much for your concerning our problems!
    When I tried them to access their e mail through out OWA, no error and i didn't see any display on the webpage and it was just blank!
    Last thing, I deleted their user profiles and configure their exchange e mail to desktop outlook and everything working fine, error gone!
    If you have any ideas, please let me know and i will bring that to fix future issues regarding this!

    I have uploaded albums onto iTunes and tried to sync with my ipod (ipod nano 4gb 2nd generation)....it is telling me that Ipod has sync but nothing is showing in on my ipod!???

    Hi Ruth!
    This could be caused by a couple of different factors.
    First off, are you sure that you are safely disconnecting your iPod from your computer?
    If you don't have Disk Use enabled when automatically syncing your iPod with iTunes, you don't have much to worry about in that respect.
    (After syncing, the iPod ought to go from the "Do Not Disconnect" screen, to the normal screen. When your iPod displays the Main Menu, it is safe to disconnect it).
    If your iPod continues to display "Do Not Disconnect", this is most likely because disk use is enabled.
    With Disk Use enabled, you will have to manually eject your iPod in iTunes (click on the little arrow next to your iPod's name in the Source List of iTunes).

    If that doesn't seem like it's a possibility, then let's try assigning your iPod a different drive letter (such non-syncing symptoms can be caused by drive letter confusion on your computer).
    Be sure to change it to something further along in the alphabet, like "M", for example.

    Yea I would connect it to iTunes on computer and under summary tab select restore. If that can't be done save a backup on icloud from settings,icloud,storage and backup. Then go to settings, general, reset, all content and data.
    Sometimes when you upgrade you can catch a bug. When I upgraded all my album artwork disappeared and even a sync didn't help. I saved a backup and restored the device(this time not wireless) and installed ios6 again. No problems since.
