Mail automatically saved?

I was searching for files on my computer and came across some old emails that I had deleted a while back. Are mail messages automatically saved on the computer, even if deleted? Some of them were sent emails and some were received.

Sorry, I'm not knowledgeable enough to help you. But I would suggest that the issue could be syncing with .mac. Do the emails appear in your .mac folders anywhere? I know nothing about setting up .mac but it might be worth checking your account(s) in Mail to see whether they are IMAP or POP and, whatever they are, double checking that that is how they are supposed to be set up for syncing mail with .mac. Best I can suggest I am afraid. Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable might jump in. Another thought would be to raise your query in the .mac forum.

Mail automatically saving attachments

Hi there,
Can anyone help with this rather annoying feature? Every time I look at an attachement in Mail, it automatically saves a copy of it on my mac (currently desktop).
Is there any way to stop it doing this, as I don't want to save every attachment I get sent out of Mail?

Ben,
You cannot change this behavior, but the default should be the Mail Downloads folder, and in Mail Preferences/General you can choose to have any that are unedited removed after using Mail. This feature, which came in Tiger, is probably meant to allow you to edit an attachment, and return or send to others without a formal Save. In earlier versions of Mail, you could not save changes to attachments without saving elsewhere on your Mac.
The Desktop is not a good choice for this function.
If you choose the Mail Downloads folder, and further choose to remove any unedited Downloads when you quit Mail, you only need to quit Mail once, twice or more times a day to have all of them removed. I do this, and I am never even aware that I have downloaded anything, because if I wish to Save, I do so deliberately using other folders.
Of course any attachment that Views in Place does not download -- only those requiring the use of another application, such as Word.

Address Book automatically saving contacts

Address Book (Leopard) is automatically saving the e-mail addresses from any message I reply to. In Tiger, these addresses would show up in "Previous Recipients", but in Leopard they actually get cards in my Address Book. I don't want addresses to be automatically saved into Address Book, but so far haven't found how to turn that off. Am I missing something obvious?

The only thing I can think of is that you might have a Mail rule or automator action that is causing this.

In Mail, Contacts, Calendarts>Add Account
Add a MobileMe or Other?
If I choose MobileMe, it asks for my MobileMe account. If I enter that info, it tells me I already have that account set up, which I do.
So I clicked the Create Free Apple ID button on the same screen, below.
This goes to a New Apple ID page
I enter location and DOB
This goes to a New Apple ID page
I enter all of the information as required, then click Done
I get an error:
Cannot Create Apple ID
If you have an @me.com email address, sign in using your MobileMe password
This takes me back to where I started without a solution.

HOW TO Send mail while saving VA02

How can i send mail while saving VA02.
The mail address i have to pick from custom table based on plant.
Just for the trial we used : output type :KRML
Application : V1
Transaction medium :7.
and the program RSNASTSO routine SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF_VX is attached in the nace.
The same output type is attached in va02.If we use this output type with this medium , it is asking us mail partner
address also in the VA02.
but we have to get the mail partner from custom table.
And with this output type , the program attched in the NACE (RSNASTSO) IS NOT GETTING triggered.
But the mail is being sent to the mail partner which i mentioned in the VA02 Communication method.
How can i solve this.
Finally my requirement is i have to send a mail to exter id which is maintained in the custom table while saving VA02.

We had set a output type in NACE. and that output type we have in the VA02 transaction also.
But While saving the transaction it is not going through the program mentioned in the NACE for that output type.
But mail is sent to the SAP Inbox or official id .
how that mail is gone i am not understanding.
How can we do to go through the program mentioned in NACE while saving the VA02.
The mail body coming with text " sales order is blocked" sopme thing like this.
This same mail i have to sent to the mail id maintained in Custom table plant wise.

Using Mail Program with Gmail, Mail automatically bcc:s me on every email

I am using the Mail Program with my Gmail acoount. It works fine except Mail automatically bcc:s me on every email I send. I checked the Mail preferences and the box is unchecked in the composing section "Automatically cc: myself".
This does not happen when I use the Gmail.com web access, only when I send emails through mail.

With Netscape all of the Webcam shots from live feeds were automatically saved in my cache folder and I could simply open my cache send the saved files into AcDsee and convert them into jpgs, It would save as many as I would allow space for. With firefox

I cant retrieve my images from webcams that are cached any more with mozilla. With netscape all of the live webcam images from live cams were automatically saved in my cache folder and all i had to do was open it send the files to acdsee and turn them into jpgs. It would save them untill the Cache ran out of room no matter how many files or sites I had running. Mozilla seems to save what it wants when it wants and often dose not save any that I can retrieve because I believe it is bulking them into Cache 123 or 4 and those i cant open to retrieve the files. Sometimes it saves 100 or so and sometimes 2 or 3 sometimes 10 or more but i don't seem to have any control over what it does or does not save to retrieve no matter how much space i allow for the cache to save.

How to automatically saved a pdf form into a network folder using a submit button

I'm more than a beginner on adobe development reason why I would like to apologize first if my questions are dumbs. :-(
I would like to know if 'Adobe 9 Professional Extended' has the possibility to put some code into a submit button in order for the pdf form to be saved with a unique name and into a Network folder located into an Encryption Server where we handle our PII. Is it? Over the past two weeks I've been digging into the documentation but I'm unable to find something that will help me to accomplish our headquarters requirements.
If there is no possibility, is there any programming language that adobe accepts in order to configure a piece of code that will store the file into a network folder? Perhaps VB or C-SHARP?
Whatever feedback anyone can give, I deeply appreciate it.

I do have more questions based on your recomendation.
From my understanding, JavaScript or FormCalc will be my only options, right? If that's the case, how can a scripting language (client server side) allow me to transfer automatic saved files into a Network folder within my company intranet? I downloaded the Scripting Basic manual and all the scenarios and code are client server side such as, changing background color, add effects to a button and so on.
I did find a command under FormCalc called "PUT" can I use this command to transfer a pdf file into a Virtual Directory folder? All the examples I saw were for XML files.

But on your Mac you can normally view your PhotoStream photos in iPhoto and copy them to albums on your Mac. Don't expect photos to remain in your PhotoStream permanently.
