Mail Cash - How to recover/reload messages

Question

Our mail crashed (several times according the crash log listings) and now we have only the last few days messages on the mail program. We can still get to old messages through the system search (mag glass on top right of desktop). How can we get these messages back into our mail program?

so you have missing email in all three accounts?
for the .mac account i would suggest you quit mail then go to homefolder/library/mail, locate the mac-yourusername folder, then drag it to the desktop and open mail, you should wait a few moments for mail to rebuild your .mac account.
for the pop accounts, i would suggest two solutions:
1) select each mailbox for your three pop accounts, then go to mailbox>rebuild and see if rebuilding will clear up the issue
2) if 1) does not clear up the issue, then go to mail>file>import mailbox..., choose from mac osx, then point to the path/location of the pop accounts in homefolder/library/mail/... and import each mailbox for which there is. mail will then create an import mailbox in which it will import all the emails. you will then be able to move emails imported wherever you would like them stored.
