Mail changes itselve the subject of my inbox mails

I do not know what, but the Mail changes the subject of my inbox some mail and notes.
Is very random, so change the subject of any mail or not receive, and also during the day change the same mail several times... It happens in MobileMe, gmail, etc...
It works like a virus, but maybe is my fault.
The good thing is that nothing is changed in the cloud.
I do not if anybody is going to answer, I am trying to find info since 4 of July 20011 but I have not find anything yet.
Thank you so much

This sounds like it may be an indexing problem.  Are these two account being accessed as IMAP?
Have you ever forced a reindexing, and if so, did you remove the IMAP account folders prior to doing so?

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

    Hi,
In NACE, select your output type and double click on the option for Mail title and Texts in the navigation area on the left side of the screen. Here you can maintain the Subject for your E-mail.
    Cheers!

updated today and cannot open my mails it says: The last time you opened Mail, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?

    Do a backup.
    Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.  Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.
Thanks to leonie for some information contained in this.

  • How do I change the subject of an inbox and outbox in order to organize them better

I would like to change the Subject of received and sent mails in Thunderbird. I used to be able to do this with Eudora and it helped me to organize them better especially when the subject and content didn't match!

They are designed for Thunderbird not Firefox.
Current version of Thunderbird is 31.5.0 and they work with that version.
Are you using a Thunderbird beta version?

  • EREC: Change the subject of rejection e-mail

    Hi everyone,
I'd like to change the rejection e-mail's Subject, but I can't find the customizing, or the relevant part of the code, where the subject is created.
I checked the workflow log (transaction swell) and I think I found the part when the email is created there are two task:
There is to Activity "Create activity" and "Send document"
The first one is using the
ERC_ACTIV - CREATEACTFROMDATA method to create the activity
ERC_ACTIV - PROCESSDOCUMENT  is to send the document
    It is using the cl_hrrcf_act_abstract_corr_rec:
    * Document will be sent by the channel EMAIL.
           CALL METHOD LO_ACT_CORR->PROCESS_DOCUMENT
             EXPORTING
               CHANNEL  = 'E_MAIL'
             IMPORTING
    *    DOCUMENT =
                RETURN   = LT_RETURN
The problem is that I debugged several times, but can't find the place, where the subject of the e-mail is created.
Do you have any idea, where can I change the subject of the rejection e-mail?
    Thanks & Bye
    N.

    Hello,
The standard system uses the description of the smartform as the subject of the e-mail so you could copy the smartform and change the description to suit your requirement. If you wish to put your own logic for getting the subject at runtime I think it is done in class CL_HRRCF_CS_DOC_CAT_SF_SUPER. In there is method set_subject I think. You will then maybe copy this and make your own class with the required methods and use them while sending a smartform. Hope this helps.

  • How do I stop mail from looping the same emails into inbox?

How do I stop mail from looping the same emails into the inbox over and over again? It does the same thing with deleted messages that keep showing up again and again in multiples even after deleting them. I have made sure my server settings in all email accounts are set to delete immediately once I delete them on my MacBook Pro/IPhone. This issue has severely compromised the efficiency of Mail on my MacBook. Thanks for any help you're able to give me.

I have tried that but it does not fix the problem.
The "card" group is not a previous recipient.
Although not available for editing in Contacts, it is a valid group showing up in the "To" field of Messages, Mail, or any app using the AddressBook.
Its associated file is automatically created in:
    ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/AddressBook/Sources/<hexaFolder>/MetaData/<hexa>ABG roup.abcdg
This is why it also shows up in the Spotlight results...
If I manually remove this file, it gets recreated...
If I turn off the syncing through iCloud, the entry gets deleted. If I turn it up, it comes back!

When in Yahoo mail, the OPEN WEB LOCATION box opens for each letter I try to type in in the "To" line and/or the "Subject" line of any new e-mail to someone. I type a letter, the Box opens, and I cannot type anything in the e-mail window anywhere until I close the box. I close the box, type another letter, and the OWL Box open gain. It takes forever to type anything. This started when I updated Firefox to the new 21 version. I Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No help. I uninstalled 21 and re-installed 19 (I was using 19 with no problems until today). No help. The problem will not go away. I note that others have complained of this problem. Is there a fix yet? I have been forced back to IE in the meantime.

hello, you have two extension present in your profile (DownloadTerms 1.0 & WhiteSmoke New 10.16.2.509) that could be considered malware.
please[[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems|reset firefox]] and see if those entries are still present afterwards. also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

  • E-recruiting: Change of the sender in reject  e-mail for candidate

    Hello!!
In e-recruiting 6.0 we needed modify the direction of the sender in reject  e-mail for candidate (activity u201Cnotification rejectu201D).
At the moment, when a notification reject is sent, it appears the personal electronic direction of the recruiter who executes the activity (notification reject). The personal electronic direction (of recruiter) is registered in infotipo 105 subtype 0010.
It is required that the sender direction is a generic direction (for example: work_with_us@example).
¿How I can realise this change?
    Thanks,
    Alicia

    Hi,
in addition to the two solutions already mentioned I'd like to throw in the following two options:
Instead of linking a workflow to every activity creation you could build an easy background job which runs once in a while sending the planned simple correspondences and invitations. The result would be the same as the workflow solution the sender is the user under which the job s planned.
More flexible as not hard build in and development free would be a solution using the open correspondences function. You create a dummy user with the work_with_us@example e-mail using report RCF_CREATE_USER. This user is used to send all open correspondences and invitations manually. Of course this is more processing steps for the recruiters but if you need flexibility this is the price to pay.
    Kind Regards
    Roman

  • My Mac close the mail application and I lose all my inbox mails

I lose all my inbox mails and my others pop accounts configuration, the only I have is the folders I create, do you know if I can get back my info???
    thanks for any help.

What’s the capacity and space available on your startup disk? Take a look at the comments about disk space in the following article, in case they apply to you:
Problems from insufficient RAM and free hard disk space
Even if there is enough space available on the startup disk, for some reason that remains a mystery to me, Mail sometimes “thinks” it must discard the current ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist preferences file and create a new one. As a result, all your non-Mac account settings (but not the messages themselves), which are stored in that file, are lost.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what’s it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, and making sure that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), quit Mail if it’s running, and make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder, e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, just in case something else goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. This is where all your mail is stored.
    You have three options now:
    (1) Restore com.apple.mail.plist from a backup if you have one. Mail shouldn’t be running while you do this.
    (2) Set up your non-Mac accounts in Mail again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done. You’ll also have to re-configure most of your settings in Mail > Preferences. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
    (3) Mail may have renamed the old preferences file to com.apple.mail.plist.saved. If that’s the case, you may try moving the new com.apple.mail.plist out of ~/Library/Preferences/ (e.g. to the Desktop) and rename the old com.apple.mail.plist.saved back to com.apple.mail.plist. Again, be sure Mail isn’t running while doing this. Since Mail decided to discard it, I would expect this file to be corrupt (I don’t understand why would Mail discard it and create a new one otherwise), but apparently that often is not the case and the settings can indeed be restored by just renaming the file.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder.

  • Can the iPhone only pull inbox mail and not all unread mail?

Yahoo correctly filters my mail into inbox and spam. The iPhone pulls ALL unread mail rather than just that from the inbox. Anyway to fix this?

What is unread except for what is in your Inbox mailbox?
Are you accessing a free Yahoo account with the iPhone's Mail client, and did you use the Yahoo account preset when creating your Yahoo account?
If so, the Yahoo account preset on an iPhone creates the account as an IMAP account with the iPhone's Mail client. With an IMAP account, the email client used to access the account keeps all server stored mailboxes for the account synchronized with the server. All messages received by the account, and available in the account's Inbox mailbox on the server, will be available in the account's Inbox mailbox with the iPhone's Mail client - which keeps the mailbox synchronized with the server. If spam is received at the server and is available in the account's Inbox mailbox at the server, the same messages will be available in the account's Inbox mailbox with the iPhone's Mail client. This is how an IMAP account works.
With a POP account, any messages that remain in the account's Inbox mailbox at the server will be downloaded when accessing the account with a new email client, and will be shown as unread when downloaded by a new email client used to access the account. This is also normal for a POP account when accessing the account with a new email client.
The iPhone's Mail client does not included a spam filter. Even if it did, new messages received at the server and available in the account's Inbox mailbox at the server will be downloaded - spam and all - which is the same for any email client.

  • Will deleting one outlook mail account delete the contacts in my hotmaiil mail account on my iphone6?

I have a new iphone6 with one hotmail, one gmail, and one other mail.  I added another outlook account that I now want to delete (it never synced and has nothing in it).  I get a warning that if I delete it that it will delete all my hotmail contacts.  Will it actually delete the contacts associated with the hotmail account I want to keep?

    Hi jmknight,
When you disable contact syncing or delete a mail account from the phone, the data that is removed from the phone is ONLY that data that was synced from that account.  So if you previously had [email protected] added to the phone and had contacts synced from that account, those contacts will not be removed from the phone when you delete [email protected] from the phone.  Additionally, it will not ever delete the contacts from the mail server itself (they will still be accessible at hotmail.com through webmail), rather it just un-syncs the contacts from the phone.
    I hope this helps!

  • Can you sync contacts from two different yahoo mail accounts onto the ipad2 (have 2 inboxes and 2 calendars!!)

Am running two yahoo mail accounts on my ipad2.  Has set up two inboxed and two calendars automatically and without any problem.  Nothing originally populated in the contacts book.  Have now set this in ipad set up but only given option of syncing 1 accounts contacts.  Can you help?

You each need an iCloud account and to sync your iCal calendars with iCloud. Then you can each share a calendar or calendars privately, so only available to the other, who would be able to edit it, or not, depending on your settings. Please see this page:
