Mail Client Job Scheduled

Hi,
I have configured Mail sender adapter to read emails from exchange server
imap://host:port/InBox
In Communication channel monitoring I dont see any error message but  I see status message Mail Client Job Scheduled  and there is nothing in Moni
Can any one please help me with this issue..

Hi..
the error showing occurs if the ports are not correctly opened with the mail server.
check with your basis or IS team for opening the ports/access to the mail server.
Once the connection is established after opening the ports, activate the channel once again and it should work!

But,the mail I am getting from this job run is same all the time (means it's showing same project closure again and again though I am running job for different projects).     Yes. That is the point I am missing. Just one 'date' is checked and project is taken into account for the custom program and after its successful run the mail is sent to users.
    And when the same program I am assigning in SM36,it is actually running the program accurately for project/s but sending the same mail which it send for very first project earlier.
    Can you please guide me on the way to create these variants? 
    You will need to Save different variants for different projects and then assign the variants with your job.
    Will it be required to create variant again and again and assign different projects individually? As, we are not sure that which project is gonna be created in future. So, need guideline how these variants can help me to sort out the e-mail issue.

    We have 2 development test clients. Some customization settings are differenent in these two clients. Does this affect, if I run the job in one client, it will take the customization data in that client?

  • Scheduling a Mail Sending Job with APEX

    Hi
    I would like to know if it is possible to schedule an e-mail sending job with APEX(for purposes like birthday reminders etc). Currently, I am able to send e-mail from APEX by creating a process which is triggered by a button. I am using the apex_mail.send procedure to send e-mail. This is working fine, but I would ideally want the email sending process to be scheduled to run independent of a manual trigger, i.e. the system date should be the trigger, and it should repeat after a specified interval. (The method should be such that emails are sent out even when the APEX application is not running,i.e. the process should take the data directly from the database.)

    I'm new to this apex tool...I doesnt know how to configure email.....Has i have seen in ur message that you could able to send email from apex but u asked about scheduling in email, a kind of deep concept to some one....I'm not thing of the scheduling right now...Can you please guide me in step wise manner of how to configure email...Since i doesnt know this basic thing of configuring email with the APEX...

  • Trigger mail for cancelled background jobs scheduled using SM37

    Dear Experts,
    My requirement is to trigger email whenever a job gets cancelled in background.
    For this I have already tried creating a workflow using BO BPJOB for event ABORTED.
    But for some reason the event is never getting triggered.
    I tested executing the workflow from tcode SWDD, it was running successfully, which means that there is no issue with my workflow.
    Now I want to resolve the above issue   OR
    I want to raise the event manually from the program through some BADI or Exit.
    But I didn't find any BADI or Exit for tcode SM37. Can anybody let me know if any.

  • Default mail client setting?

    Since my desktop software was upgraded, everytime I open it...I get the message that "Either there is no defaul mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."
    Problem is...I opened up MS Outlook and it **is** set as the default mail client.....so what gives?

  • Drop/Create sequence using Oracle Job Scheduler

    IDE for Oracle SQL Development: TOAD 9.0
    Question: I am trying to do the following:
    1. Check if a certain sequence exists in the user_sequences table
    2. Drop the sequence if it exists
    3. Re-create the same sequence afterward
    All in a job that is scheduled to run daily at 12:00 AM.
    What I would like to know is if this is even possible in the first place with Oracle jobs. I tried the following:
    1. Create the actual "BEGIN...END" anonymous block in the job.
    2. Create a procedure that uses a dynamic SQL string using the same "BEGIN...END" block that drops and recreates the sequence using the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE commands
    But I have failed on all accounts. It always produces some sort of authorization error which leads me to believe that DDL statements cannot be executed using jobs, only DML statements.
    BTW, by oracle jobs, I mean the SYS.DBMS_JOBS.SUBMIT object, not the job scheduler.
    Please do not ask me why I need to drop and recreate the sequence. It's just a business requirement that my clients gave me. I just want to know if it can be done using jobs. If not, I would like to know if there are any work-arounds possible.

    Do they know that doing DDL 'on the fly' will invalidate the dependent objects?
    Best shot you can give at it is reset the sequence. And you could do it in a job, yes, as long as it's interval is during some maintenance window (no active users).

    Regarding the authorization errors: your DBA should be able to provide you the nessecary privileges.
    But in the end, this is something I'd rather not would like to see implemented on a production system...

  • How can I mail the Job Log in the form of an excel sheet?

    Daily I have to monitor a Job and I have to retrieve the Job Log in an excel sheet, Format the excel sheet, and then mail the excel sheet and the Job Status(Finished/Cancelled) to Client/Person Incharge.
    I want to automate this entire process. Please guide me, how can I write a program that mails the Job Log, in the form of an excel sheet, to the Client?

    I am scheduling the RMMRP000 and want to send the mail to group of SAP user once job is finished.
    I have created the Distribution list with all respective SAP user and while scheduling the job i am assigned spool recipient but mails are not send to all user after once job finished. If i am assigned only one user not group its sending mail once job finished.
    pls let me know how i can do it for group of SAP user.

    Based on the error message” Could not allocate a new page for database because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth
    on for existing files in the filegroup”, we can know that the issue is caused by the there is no sufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY' for the database.
    To fix this issue, we can add additional files to the filegroup by add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup on Files page, or setting Autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup to increase the necessary space.
    As to the issue that the job executed successfully for the next run when executed, I think it can be caused by someone or something had made something to increase the space.

  • How to setup mail client in Data Integrator 11.7 to make use of mail_to()

    How to setup mail client in Data Integrator 11.7 to make use of mail_to() function.
    I am using mail_to() function in one of my job to know the status of source file. If source file is not ready, our DI job should fail and send mail notification with reason for failure.
    But mail_to() function is not sending any mail. I guess I need to set up email client.
    Any one please help to resolve this issue.

    From the DI documentation that comes with the installation:
    To use this function, a mail client must be installed and running on the Job
    Server computer that calls the function. The login account for the mail client
    must have the same user name and password as the Data Integrator service.
    The type of client varies by the operating system:
    u2022 If the Job Server is on a computer running the Windows operating
    system, then the mail client must comply with MAPI (message application
    programming interface). In addition, the mail client must be configured as
    the default mail client. For example, Microsoft Outlook is a MAPI-based
    mail client.
    If the Job Server is on a computer running the UNIX operating system,
    then the mail client must be mailx-compliant.
    So:
    Mail client installed and configured and set as default
    Mail client uses the same credentials as the job server service
    Or use another function: smtp_to();
    If still not working or you are not allowed to use an installed mailclient on your box, then try Blat: http://www.blat.net/

    Hi,
    thank you. Problem was solved by performing the following steps
    1.     deleting the following file: DRIVE:\sybase\SID\OCS-15_0\ini\ocs.cfg
    2.     Stop / Start Job Scheduler
             exec sybmgmtdb..sp_sjobcontrol '','stop_js'
            go
             exec sybmgmtdb..sp_sjobcontrol '','start_js'
            go
    3.     Refresh DBACockpit

    Hi Bobby,
    Try this steps...
    1.  Log on to the appropriate SAP instance and client as either the user ID owning the job or an administrator ID.
    2.  Go to transaction SM37.
    3.  On the Simple Job Selection screen, fill in the Job name field or use any of the screens filtering options to produce a list from which you can see the job you want to view.  In order for all occurances of a job to be viewed, all statuses of the job should be checked “on”.  Click on the Execute button.

    We manage multiple CUCM clusters using 8.6/9.1 for clients and occasionally we will find the need to reset the main SIP trunks for PSTN access, which we have to do after hours due to these clusters being in production.  We have heard tell that it is possible to schedule a trunk reset using the job scheduler but we are unable to find how this is done.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Part of our confusion is that when you save on the trunk configuration, we see the pop up below that mentions the Job Scheduler.
