Mail creates background image to some incoming emails

In our business we use a signature that is a jpeg attachment. I received an email from a co-worker and his email is all unreadable because the Mail app added as a background image the signature from another co-worker.
The visually unreadable email shows a repeated image of the other co-worker's signature image, they work in separate locations, and the source email is not showing this, we are experiencing this type of issue only with our Mac's Mail client.
In our iPhones and Windows PC as well as the online webclient we don't have this issue.
It seems that the problem is generated by the Mac's Mail app, like for some reason the emails from our company are identified to use this repeated image as a background.
How can we avoid this? Any solution? Ideas? thanks

Is MAIL on your computer set to load HTML automatically or do you have to use the 'Load Images' button for each message.
If corporate mail admins thought about the load that comes with allowing jpeg sigs, coupled with the fact that it is impossible to extract any contact related info from them, they'd make sure they weren't allowed.

Images stripped from incoming email. Content says NULL

I'm a new Mac user and new to the Mac Mail product. On some of my incoming email messages, images are stripped out and the content merely says (null). Is there something I can do to get these messages I can receive some images, just not all. Thanks in advance

What happens is the message header comes through first and gives you an alert. It sounds like your not getting a good connection as that "no content" message should go away after a second.
I see that too if I try to check the email right away but it goes away after a second.

Apple mail strips text when displaying an incoming email

I receive emails associated with a club I belong to from an email reflector. Club members send emails to the reflector and the reflector resends the email to each club member including me of course
This works fine so long as the email to (and from) the reflector contains either only text or only an attachment (as in a photograph). However if the distributed email contains both text and a photo Apple Mail is unwilling to display the text ... only the photograph appears. Which as you might well imagine is rather annoying.
So how do I know that the email is displayed with the accompanying text stripped away? Well if I look at the raw source (View --> Message --> Raw Source) I see the following:

I changed the text to protect the identify of the sender. In Apple Mail all I see is the picture (IMG_0918.JPG) and all the text that goes with it is missing.
From what I can tell from comments on the reflector, some other email clients exhibit the same problem (they also strip the text) while others do not. So maybe the email is not being formatting properly by the reflector. That could be. But files on the web have mal-formed HTML all the time, yet browsers deal with the mal-formed HTML without stripping the text away as seems to be the case here.
It seems to be that Apple Mail sould be able to display the text which in contained in the raw source.
Any solution (other that looking at these email in raw source to read thei missing textual contentt)? If an Apple employee is reading this maybe you could pass this along to whoever is prosponsible for keeping track of Apple Mail bugs.

I design and code a lot of HTML emails, and plain text remains an important feature for many clients.
This seems to be a recent change to Mac Mail. Previously, there was an option under View --> Message to show the plain text alternative.

Tips for Creating Background Image

I'd like to be able to use a background image on my website like this example: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/parallax/#demo-full
I've found a few images, but there either to light or colorful and the white text just doesn't stand out over the image.
Any tips from Photoshop experts on how I can transform images so they're faded/darker (like the image in the link) so my white text stands out clearly?

Wouldn't it make more sense to put your information on the main site page where everybody can see it?
Auto loading pop-up windows will be blocked by browsers with pop-up blocking (approx. 98%). If the site visitor initiates the pop-up by clicking a link, the pop-up won't be blocked.
That said, the manner in which pop-ups open depends on your site visitor's browser settings. For some it may open in a new tab. For others in a new window. That's why it's usually best to keep important information on the main site page where everybody will see it.
Pop-up windows in Dreamweaver:
Select a link. Go to the Behaviors Panel. Click the + sign and choose Open Browser Window. This will send up a dialogue for URL, window size, scroll bars, etc... Below is an old tutorial, but it's still relevant.

Firefox wont load background image on some sites but internet explore will load the background

i downloaded firefox awhile ago worked perfectly fine then all a sudden it wont load facebook background images the homepage of facebook loads background image but when i log in it wont load background image but when i try internet explorer it loads the background images fine i checked every setting redownloaded everyhing nothing fix's it tho

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains (e,g, sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net).
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.images pref should be 1.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Why am I not receiving some incoming emails on my ipad ios7

Ever since installing ios7, I have not been receiving some emails on my ipad. I have tried toggling email off and on in settings, and I have tried a hard reset, but neither have helped. Never had a moment's problem with email before. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have had a similar issue. I keep my account settings locked as in "don't allow changes". Yet on both my ipad and iPhone running iOS7 the configurations have changed on me with regard to the type of encryptions to use and if to use SSL.
I don't know when this issue was introduced. I found it as of this morning. How those settings could hae changed when they are supposed to be "locked" is beyond me.
To fix it, I had to go into General-Restrictions--> Accounts and Allow Changes
Then go through Mail-->My Account--> and renable the proper protocals to allow incoming mail.
BTW, I use IMAP and not POP. This didn't affect all my e-mail accounts, just my primary one.

Some incoming email run way beyond my screen as though the sender does ont have a wrap around. Is it my computer or the sender?

What can I do to wrap the massage lines to they appear on one screen. It only occurs with some, not all sendors.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service and ask if there is a "wrap" setting that can be turned on.

HT1338 my mail application keeps downloading 1000s of incoming emails

My apple mail client seems to be always in a downloading incoming mail state, even though there are very few (if any) new mail. Sometimes it starts indicating it is downloading 3000 or so emails. This is everyday.
I took it to the apple shop and he wiped everythign off and started again.
But still this issue continues

Will I lose my emails I have on there? I have numerous client email files and can't afford to lose any of them. I do have everything backed up but I'm fearful of losing important client info. What if something happened during the back up and it doesn't have my files?

Mail no longer notifying me of incoming emails

I don't know if you'll want to keep it set that way. I do -- but that implies your Mac will be doing a lot of going out and asking "Is there new mail?"

I have two iphones sharing the same e-mail and if one deletes an incoming email, it is deleted from the other iphone. How can I stop that?

and it is taken off the server.

You must be using a POP3 account like verizon.net
using IMAP like gmail will help some of your problem, not all...
even on IMAP accounts once one person checks the email it will not show as a "new" message anymore... and if deleted it will still be gone from both phones...
There are settings you can change in the advanced section of the IMAP account settings that designate the phone NOT to delete messages at all as well... thought this is also an option on POP3 account settings too.

Incoming email issue

In Mail the "To:" line of all incoming emails to me inappropriately shows a friend whose name begins aa. Tapping on the name icon yields a drop-down that includes my name and others. This list seems to be from a failed attempt to set up an email distribution for a club in my web based att.net/yahoo account on my Mac. Couldn't make it work then. On my Mac the emails don't show the other names.

Dyslexia font not working in all incoming emails

Dear Mozilla Support, Monday 5-5th-2014
I have Dyslexia and recently started using fonts for the disorder on my PC and e-reader. This increased my reading speed dramatically with better retention. Kind of a big deal for me as I use the PC & web lot.
Others and myself figured out how to change fonts in Firefox but Thunderbird is different. After changing Tbird's display formatting some incoming email is in the new Dyslexia font (so far all adds) but only a few corespondent emails, most are in the sender's original font.
Can you give instructions on how to change all my incoming email to the Dyslexia font?

Try this:
* 'Tools ' > 'Options' > 'Display' > 'Formatting' tab
or
* '3bar menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Display' > 'Formatting' tab
* under 'Fonts & Colours', select the default font and size
* click on 'Advanced' button
Under 'Font Control'
* do not select, uncheck 'Allow messages to use other fonts'
* click on OK

Alt attribute on background image in an include

Research seems to say I cannot. Client wants it. Is my only
