Mail distribution list as container element

Hi all
Could a mail distribution list be used as a container element? I cannot figure out how...

You shouldn't 'run out of points'. Have a look at the [Contributor Recognition Program FAQ|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/crphelp] under 'how do I award points' for an explanation of how it works.
Remember that points are not just a way of saying thanks, but also serve as an indication of which contributions were the most useful and which (if any) solved your problem.This helps people who may have the same problem in future and find your question.
It's also perfectly acceptable to change points if a better answer comes along - I have [done so myself|Where-used doesn't return all results for class interfaces;, but to avoid this I usually just assign them all when I close my question.
Cheers,
Mike

  • Did apple solve the distribution list issue on lion

    In Snow-Leo there was a very annoying problem on mail distribution-lists, if the people on the list had multiple email adresses.

    Does anybody know, whether this is solved with lion?

  • Dynamic Mail Messenger - mail to distribution list

    Hi Mentors,
    The requirement is to generate an automatic mail when an employee updates his marital status or children status in IT0002.
    The mail has to go to the master data administrator and one of the persons in the Accounts team to initiate insurance coverage.
    M0001 is what will be used. The standard M0001 feature already has RECV1 (master data administrator) inculded. I need to add DISTR ( the distribution list containing the accounts personnel mail id).
    How can I do this> Can you please guide ?
    Thanks

    hi VJ,
    hope you are doing good.
    Try using TCODE : SO04 -- > Distribution Lists --> Shared Distribution and then utilitze Attributes and Content tabs .
    hope it helps you.

  • Multiple (mail) destinations for one report using distribution list

    I would like to email a report to multiple destinations using a distribution list.
    Environment:
    Oracle reports: 10.1.2.3
    OS: Windows 7
    Database:Oracle 11g(11.2.0.2)
    This is the content of the distribution file:
    <destinations>
      <foreach>
        <mail id="a1" from="[email protected]" to="&amp;&lt;mail_to&gt;" subject="Invoice">
          <body srcType="text" format="ascii">Invoice attached
          </body>
          <attach srcType="report" name="invoice.pdf" format="pdf" instance="this">
             <include src="report"/>
          </attach>
        </mail>
        <mail id="a2" from="[email protected]" to="[email protected]" subject="Invoice sent to &amp;&lt;mail_to&gt; ">
          <body srcType="text" format="ascii">Attached invoice was sent to the customer
          </body>
          <attach srcType="report" name="invoice.pdf" format="pdf" instance="this">
             <include src="report"/>
          </attach>
        </mail>
      </foreach>
    </destinations>
    When I run this using the following URL:
    http://testserver.our_servers.local:7778/reports/rwservlet?server=rep_dev&report=VKR0030.rdf&userid=myuser/test123@ORCL&distribute=yes&destination=VKR0030.xml&onfailure=rollback&onsuccess=commit
    I get the following error: REP-34304: Distribution failed to complete, please review the distribution lists
    When I remove one mail element, it works fine.
    One mail tag with multiple email addresses in the "to" parameter isn't possible because I have to use 2 different mail templates(subject and body differ).
    According to the documentation(https://docs.oracle.com/html/B14048_02/pbr_dist.htm#i1005830), it should be possible to use multiple mail elements.
    Required/Optional
    Optional. You can have as many mail elements as you require.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Found the solution.
    When putting each mail element in a foreach, it works.

  • Email distribution list in mail adaptor

    Hi,
      I am using mail adaptor / mail map to send email notificaiton, it works fine for single email id or multiple but not working for email distribution list which starts with "#". Is there any configuration required?
    Thanks,
    Menaga

    Hi Menaga,
    Distrubutor mail id is like simillar to normal mail id, but internally it contains the number of mail ids.
    Ask your network team to create the distributed mail id (in this mail id how many mail ids you want you can put that mail ids).
    and configure that distributed mail id like you configure in the normal mail id.
    Regards
    Ramesh.

  • In the upgrade to Yosemite, the distribution list feature in mail appears to have been eliminated.  Any suggestions?

    Prior to upgrading to Yosemite, mail allowed you to select all from a contact group and paste the e-mail address of the group to an e-mail send field.  This "distribution list" feature does not seem to work in this new system.  Any suggestions?

    You can see a detailed comparison between MobileMe and iCloud, plus general information and some links to Apple Help pages, here:

  • Send mail to distribution list using UTL_MAIL.SEND

    Oracle 10.2.0.4.0
    Does UTL_MAIL.SEND support sending mail to a distribution list?. The doc says, the recipient mail-id should be separated by a comma. The distribution list has mail-id separated by a comma. I executed a test case sending a mail to a distribution list, I did not receive any error or exception. I did not receive the test mail as well!!.
    Has anyone used the UTL_MAIL.SEND to send mails to a distribution list?.
    Thanks

    It sends message to name provided.
    It is up to MTA to deliver any message it gets.
    Are you 100% certain that message got to MTA & was successfully processed by it?

  • How to send mail as a distribution list

    I have created a number of distribution lists under the groups tab just to the right of mailboxes in the recipients section of the exchange admin centre in microsoft exchange 2013.
    i have set permission on these mailboxes for send as to be permitted but when trying to send mail from outlook 2013, outlook web app or from ios i am unable to get the distribution lists email address to appear in the from list.
    could someone please explain how i can resolve this for each of these 3 platforms?

    Hi,
    Great advice from Veerapandian.
    Based on my knowledge, Distribution List is based on Outlook, Distribution Group is based on Exchange server. You can grand send as permission to DG.
    Send as permission is a permission based on AD, please make sure the DG can be resolved from GAL.
    Please run following command to whether set “Hide this group from address lists” attribution, if so please remove this setting.
    Get-DistributionGroup | FL alias,*HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled*
    More details about Configure Distribution Group Properties, please refer to:

  • How do I send e-mail to a distribution list using LabWindows/CVI?

    I need to be able to send e-mail to a user-defined distribution list using LabWindows/CVI? Has anyone done this? Any ideas where I could look?

    I commented on something similar to this awhile back.  My issue was that I had the base version and didn't have the Internet classes.  So this external app worked like a charm
    It has a lot of command-line inputer options to use as well.
