Mail does not recognize password for incoming mail

I use mail to retrive messages from two pop accounts a mac account and a work account. But now Mail shows a message saying that the server for my log in name does not recognizes the password. But if I use the webmail of that account it does recognize the password. I am able to sentmail from that account as well as to receive and send from the .mac account. What is the problem?

Your email provider is not copmcast, that is your ISP.
You apparently have a comcast account that you access using their web mail. Not really relevant here as we are talking about accounts in mail clients, not browsers.
The settings you have posted are to access your comcast mail account in Thunderbird, something Thunderbird is designed to do. Manage multiple mail accounts.
You indicate that the domain is toteyourself.com this domain is registered with godaddy and I assume uses standard godaddy domain mail settings.

I changed my apple id email address and now my iphone 5s does not recognize it for icloud. It keeps asking for the old email address apple id.

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

The saved password feature worked well, but the site I had saved the password for required that I change the password. I have found no way to update the password in Firefox. After I deleted the saved password, Firefox did not ask if I wanted the new password saved. When this happened before, I removed and re-installed Firefox, and then it worked. I hope there is another way to update a password.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. If I want to sign in to this message board, I can do so. I can also sign in on my iPad to download updates, purchase new apps and songs, etc. And I can sync my iPad to iTunes on my iMac.
But when I open iTunes on my iMac, it asks for my password and I can't sign in. What is causing this problem with iTunes on my iMac repeatedly asking for my password when I open iTunes?

The solution (for me at least) is to keep trying the same password in iTunes on my iMac that I know is correct. For me, the fourth try of typing in the exact same password works in iTunes on my iMac. I have repeated this several times, and each time it works.
What is messing people up is that when iTunes does not recognize the correct password, people are attempting other passwords. Those other passwords are all incorrect. The problem, as you stated, is that the password was entered correctly the first time but because of iTunes having issues it does not recognize it.
People, just keep entering the password you know is correct. It will eventually recognize it, or at least this works for me. If this still does not work, reset your password (but then you may still have to enter it repeatedly in iTunes).
Apple needs to fix this.

ITunes does not recognize password after removal of corrupt backup file

I removed a corrupt backup file of my iPhone 4 from iTunes and now it does not recognize my password anymore. The password is correct, as I wrote it down when I set it up and have used it before. Any thoughts? This must be some kind of flaw in iTunes or iOS for iPhone.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried stopping and restarting Apple Mobile Services, Bonjour and iPod services but it had no effect. The problem still remains - everything works for all 3 iPhones immediately after reinstalling iTunes but none of them can connect with any of the USB cables after a reboot. This problem is still present as of upgrading to 10.6.3.25.
BTW, I do have other choices. I can become disenchanted with the product, use it less and less, then eventually migrate over to some competitor's product.

Thunderbird does not "recognize" and email password. It provides the one you stored in it to the email server when asked for one. It would be the email server rejecting it.
If you are sure you have the correct password then it might be the format of your username or some other server setting that is incorrect.
Get a list of server settings from your provider and make sure they are correct in Thunderbird.
Pay attention to your username format. Some providers want just the username and others want the entire thing including the @provider.com.

Windows does not recognize driver for pci-4461

Hello,I am currently running windows xp with labview 7.0 on my computer. Recently trying purchased and trying to install PCI-4461 Audio Analyzer PC card. I downloaded the latest driver 9.0.2 off the NI website. After the install I verified the driver exist by using the Measurement & Automation tool. However, window does not recognize any driver for the hardware. When I point it to the directory where the driver is "suppose" to exist, windows gives me an error message saying that the driver does not exist or is corrupted. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Has anyone ran into this problem and can give me some advise? I know that the version on DAQmx 9.0.2 is not compatible with the version of labView I am running. However it should not affect windows from locating and installing hardware. Thank you,Ruth

Did you install the PCI-4461 card in your computer before or after you installed the DAQmx 9.0.2 drivers? It would be best to install the drivers first and then the card. Windows XP will pop up the New Hardware Wizard, saying it detected new hardware. Click Next, and then to Search for Drivers Automatically. Do not try to navigate and select the appropriate driver folder. As long as the drivers are installed correctly Windows will be able to find the correct driver automatically.
You can also remove the PCI-4461 card and try it in a different PCI slot. This will cause the new hardware wizzard to appear on the next restart.

Canon quick menu software does not recognize scanner for MG5520

I have Canon Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One printer (MG5520). I have installed Canon complete software. But the quick menu does not recognize my scanner. In Preferences only Printer is listed, but for Scanner nothing is available. Could you please suggest how to get scanner as well for my device?
My OS is Windows 7.

Reinstalling the drivers for the printer from the Canon USA website should provide the scanning option on the Quick Menu. Please click here to go to the Drivers and Software page for the PIXMA MG5520. Once on the initial download page for your model, please do the following:
1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop-down menu is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system.
2. Next, please click on the red arrow next to the "RECOMMENDED DOWNLOADS" section and click the FULL DRIVER AND SOFTWARE PACKAGE file. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click on the checkbox below the DOWNLOAD button, then click the red DOWNLOAD button to begin the download. The time for the download process may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.
Once the file has been downloaded, please double-click on it to reinstall the drivers and software on your computer, then restart your computer. If you still have difficulty with the Quick Menu showing items related to scanning, please call or email us using one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.

Does not remember password for Virgin Usage when it does for Webmail

In Firefox 2.0.0.20 (the latest version that will work in WinMe), the username and password for Virgin WEBMAIL is prompted, but the identical information for an identical login form for Virgin Broadband USAGE is NOT prompted; and the settings for REMEMBERING the login details are ineffective FOR THIS SITE. I have tracked differences between these sites to differences in 'Page Info' in
Firefox's Tools menu, but I cannot change the Page Info for USAGE to be the same as for WEBMAIL. I have failed to trigger login-details-prompting by 'artificially' adding them to the Stored Passwords list. Can someone help me make Firefox prompt the login details for USAGE as it does for WEBMAIL ?

The second one is for webmail, and the fields are prefilled - which is how I want the first one to behave.

VC 7.0 does not recognize Metadata for custom RFC

In SAP R/3 I have created a RFC that has no IMPORT or EXPORT parameters, only TABLES defined as "DATA_OUT". The RFC code finds and generates the values to fill "DATA_OUT".
Tested the RFC in our R/3 System, works fine. Then went to Visual Composer. Data Services does list the new RFC. I click and drag into my iView. The data service appears in my iView. For a split second I see what may be the "retrieving Metadata" popup, but it disappears too quickly, cannot tell what it was. At no time does a "Define Data Service" popup appear that would allow me to select Input or Output choices.
Now the Data Service icon appears in the iView but lists an Input port. It does not show an Output port at all. I expected only an Output port.
SAP Portal Admin can go into System Administration, Portal System Landscape and create an iView using the same SAP RFC. It recognizes the Output metadata. He can run a test of the data service and this RFC provides correct output as expected.
I do not understand why VC is behaving differently than the Portal. Any ideas ?

May be worth to check one thing: you might have this RFC in a previous version without Output. For some how VC composer did not get your last version.
