Mail Exchange Error

Hi,
I have two Exchange accounts. One is setup in Entourage and the other uses Mail.
I added the Exchange account I use in Entourage to the 3g iphone. Plugged it in to my mac and had no problem. Plugged the phone in last night and the account in Mail was over written with the data from the Entourage account. The domain, usernames and passwords are all different, and I was not promoted at any point that this was going to happen.
What can I do to stop this happening?

10 days ago we updated our microsoft exchange server 2003 to exchange 2007 sp2. All went fine. Almost all 300 cellphones synchronised over the internet without any problem except for two phones. One Nokia E61 and one Nokia E51. From blank i can only synchronise once. When i start synchronising for a second time i get the message "Error in exchange server" (translated)
I upgraded to the latest firmware and the latest mail for exchange version without solving the problem. Changing the account on the phone also did not solve the problem. So the conclusion is that the problem is not in the account.
In the adminlog of the nokia suite, which i installed to troubleshoot the problem, there is a Mail For Exchange Error -15006.
Anyone have an idea?

Have you tried deleting the account and re-adding it on the phone?

Error response through Apple mail exchange

After I completed the iCloud transition, I am getting the following response in the Apple mail exchange "The connection to the server "p99-imap.mail.me.com" on port 993 timed out. Then it will ask me to submit the password and also a check box for "do you want keychain to remember". I typed the password in a thousand times and it still comes up. Apparently after talking to MobileMe it's an internal error and we have to wait on a fix? Anyone hear anything like this?

I have a similar problem. Neither imac or ipad will work on home wireless internet, however they work fine at my work. Been through 3 Mac techs to no avail. Error msg is p99-imap.mail.me.com” on port 993 timed out.

Mail for exchange error

Few users have got a problem with m4e (E70), phones stopped synchronizing week or more ago.
Problem is weird, everything works fine until on one day, new mails wont sync anymore. Tried removing and re-creating the profile, re-installing the m4e, resetting phone to factory defaults, and yes phone starts synchronizing, until we get to that weird day: it stops, and newer mails after that spesific time are not synchronized. Calendar syncronizing seems to work fine even after that time/date.
We have many users using the mail for exchange, and everything works fine for most of them. There are only few users who have this problem and all of them have a different date, when this starts to happen.
For those users m4e logs some errors:
- Mail for exchange error -15005 (this error usually seems to happen before synchronizing stops)
- Location of the message store changed. Doing full resync.
- Failed to decode server response.
- Mail for exchange error -15000
- HTTP Client Stack Error: Disconnect - Kerrdisconnected
etc.
Is there any place I could find descriptions for these mysterious error codes. I have been trying to "google", but still can't find a solution for this problem.

My E70 has just started to behave in the same way - one day it was working, then it stopped and hasn't worked since. The following is an extract from the log:

Mail for Exchange Error 36, E51, m4E, SBS2003

I've had no luck locating what needs to be enabled in terms of SBS2003, service ports and have searched everywhere for Mail For Exchange Error 36, but no good leads as yet.
If anyone can help, I'd be grateful.

I'm testing Mail For Exchange with a E51 since a half year with different firmwares and Mail For Exchange versions. Now with the latest ...
MfE 2.9.158 and

but it's allways the same . Mail For Exchange have problems to connect to the Server (Exchange 2003 SP2) when I use "allways on" (heartbeat).

With Windows Mobile devices we have no problems with always on, the heartbeat and so on - works great .
We realy try to use nokia deviceses but under this conditions we must say "lose it don't use it"!
I call our service provider (no know how), I call the nokia support (no know how) ...
Is anybody out there who could help me or must we always buy windows mobile devices?

i am facing the exact same problem!
i'm using Exchange 2007 SP2 and Nokia E51 with latest firmware (400.34.011) and latest MFE 2.09.158
Windows Mobile devices don't have this error.
Allready tried a Full Resync, the Nokia E51 syncs manually without a problem.
But after +/- 15min, it doesn't sync anymore (settings are set to sync allways)

E61i Mail for Exchange error - any clues?

Hi,
My E61i has recently stopped syncing, via MfE and now displays the message, "Your account does not have permission to sync with current settings. Contact your administrator."
I have tried various things including reinstalling MfE and creating a new profile (twice). I am trying to sync back to a Zimbra server ZCS operated by my email supplier. I can sync my PC quite happily. But the E61i won't play either using 3G (vodafone) or over WiFi

ok, problem was solved. What was done:
attmpted to sync with WM device and got error 0x86000108. This means "there's a corrupted item in your mailbox". In my case it was one of the emails in subfolders in Inbox.

E75 Mail for Exchange error 15047

I am experiencing strange error while trying to syncronise with Exchange 2003/2007 server.
The phone is syncronising only first time and than it stops with a error: System error. Try again later.
In the log file I can also find following: Mail for Exchange error 15047.
Even if I remove and recreate the profile the error remains.
After updating the FW it syncronise ones and than stops again.
Does anybody has any suggestion about this? Any information about error 15047.

I think I've solved it by my own ... after struggling with it for days.
I just changed system language for the phone (to english) and it started working.
The phone restarted after the change so it can be also the explanation.
Anyhow it is working and I can finish migration to Exchange 2007 after moving the rest of the mail user to the "new" mail server- those that are using active sync

Could the problem be in:

- something else like certificates?
The phones use company's own APN from teleoperator. No SSL in use as the APN itself is securely controlled. The Exchange is 2003. What could cause this?
I find it very unsatisfactory that there exists no list of MFE-error codes. What could be better for system admins than a errorcode-list with deeper information of error. I have asked several times from support, but they never answer. This makes no sense for me.

How to get rid of Mail stuck in Apple Mail Exchange Inbox?

I have my Exchange 2007 Account set up in Apple Mail. Recently, there is one email (duplicated about 10 times) that I can't delete. Every time I try to delete, I get an ambigious Exchange error message. I've tried deleting and re-provisioning the account, but that doesn't work. I don't have this issue when accessing my Exchange account from a PC or other Apple Devices, only from my MacbookPro Apple Mail. How can I clear this and delete these stuck emails? Thank you.

My customer got himself a brand new macbook pro and transfered all the data he had over from a previous version of osx. I believe he is now 10.8 and was 10.7 but am not sure about that. Ever since then he has had problems connecting to both imail and icalander. The icalender must constantly have the ssl setting toggled off as it seems to randomly re-enable itself. That is not the main issue however, he constantly gets disconnected from his mail account. During these down times he can access webmail. When I recreate the profile it fixes the problem for around a week and then the problem returns. I have tried completely wiping all the accounts (he has several linked) and recreating them, but that has no affect. I have tried combing through all settings to no avail and have reduced the number of messages in inbox since below capture was taken. I am constantly seeing errors such as the title for this post. Any attempt to synchronize to the server again will spawn a few more of these errors.

The problem is knowing what other damage has been done. For example, do Pages, Numbers and Keynote work presently. Is your Mail system working? etc.
I would put these items in a folder of their own, in the remote possibility they are needed. Then make a fresh install of iWork from the source disk. If Mail is not working, it may first be necessary to go further and refresh the OS, by booting into the Recovery partition.

Mx record and Mail Exchanger

i need your help hope someone can point me to the right direction
one of client has their website hosted by a 3rd party company , however they needed exchange 2013 on their environment.
at the 3rd party CP has deleted the mx record and A record of the email, and created a A record and poit it to the client External IP.
Exchange OWA is configured with SSL Certificate https://cloud.domain.com
external when i log to the https://cloud.domain.com i get the exchange log in page and i can log with the domain and password info.
when i send email from the cloud.domain.com i get a [email protected] back

i have the same problem with my 3gs and tried to add my email acc+pass in the outgoing server but it got rejected.
just bin on the phone(45min) with my carrier support about this issue they are pretty much scratching there head, the settings i should use gets verified with no problems when i add the outgoung server, but still cant send mails.
