Mail forward/answer with firefox 35.0

Hello,
since today it is not possible to answer or forward a mail with firefox 35.0. No recipient and no content of the received mail is available (screenshot attached).
IE11 is working fine.
Is this a known issue/ how can I solve this?
Thank you in advance!

  • When forwarding email with Firefox (default browser)the pictures in the email (not attachments) will not open , only shows boxes with a red x on top at the receiver, but when sending with IE, the pictures open, this happens only recently since a week ago.

I forward a message with pictures in it with Firefox, the receiver can not see any pictures, only boxes with a red x, but can read the message.
But when I forward the same message with pictures with IE,
the receiver can see the pictures and read the message too.

When going to a website the picture was small - tried changing the Zoom size , tried Zoom Reset - the text did change size but the layout distorts - found under View - Zoom - Zoom Text Only was checked --- Removed this check mark and the website returned to normal size and Zoom worked normally again. I am 99.9999% sure I did NOT check this myself and there is no one else on the computer to cause it. Maybe this will help.

  • Lost mail, forwarded doc with attachment.  No record and not received

Using a message and attachment from an email in my files, created new message with updated info to send to CEO. Hit 'send' and heard normal rush sound. Later checked my sent file and no record. Called CEO exec asst not received. Tried again with a shorter message same result. Sent another message with an attachment to another exec, no problems. iPad problem or system?

    Not recipient.
I have both a Me and a Yahoo account.
When I forward a mail with an attachment using Yahoo account, it shows the sending bar, makes the sound that a mail was sent and even put the arrow icon on the left side of the original mail. But no mail is sent (recipient doesn't receive it and I don't get my blind copy).
This also happens when I send a mail from an app (notes, noterize, numbers, pages, etc.).
If in both cases I use my Me account, it works fine.
Using Yahoo account, forward without attachments, and reply works fine.
    Don't know what to do.

  • Cannot read mails in hotmail with firefox 15.0.1 on mac osx 10.6.8

I'm using firefox 15.0.1 on mac osx 10.6.8. I can log in hotmail, but cannot open or read any mails.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] article.

  • I can't open delete or send e-mails from hotmail with firefox 11

my problem starts 3 days before i performe the update to FF11 so i can't open edit send or delete any e-mail from hotmail and still continues after the update to version 11 of FF. That issue happens only with FF on IE they work perfect. Any idea how to fix that problem on FF??

Before creating a new empty profile, you can follow the [[Basic Troubleshooting]] steps and maybe start by running in Firefox [[Safe Mode]]. This is the Firefox "debug" mode which uses the default theme and toolbars/controls, disables hardware acceleration and disables all extensions. See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] for detailed instructions.

  • Not able to edit Yahoo Mail address book. Okay with Apple Safari's Yahoo Mail but not with Firefox's,

Editing a contact in Yahoo Mail it always just "hangs" (doing nothing) when I am using Firefox. Editing the same account using Apple's Safari browser went through without any problem. It seems that Firefox interface with Yahoo caused this.

Just found the answer (it's a reported bug) and a likely solution!
Instead of dragging the group over to the 'To' box in a new email, the suggestion was to just start typing the name of the group. So far it seems to be working!!!

  • I have a iMac destop 10.6.2 and use the AOL Mail web site with your Firefox Browser. It has worked great for years. I update the firefox to 6.1 and now I cannot send images using the Firefox browser. With Safari browser it works fine.

I use AOL mail - http://www.aol.com/ with my Firefox 6.1 browser. Before updating aol mail worked great with firefox for years. Now when I try to send ( upload) messages with a file or images I always get the reading " there was a technical problem and I should try again". Messages with NO files or images go through just fine. I have cleared the Firefox history, the cache and cookies and the problem remained the same. The question is does this problem have something to do with the latest update ? AOL are still only familar with the 3.6 Firefox versions. Thanks

Well I guess I was too optimistic. Since last posting I have had three hang events, one during reboot. When the login dialog box came up I clicked on it and it hung.
However I do have a new data point. I have enabled the remote login (sshd). I have discovered that when the system hangs like I described above, I can still log in via SSH from my Windows system. The shell appears normal, but when I tried a "killall Safari" command the OS crashed hard. After a hard reset, the system hung during the login process. Again I could login remotely, and that time I executed a "sudo reboot" via the remote session. That cleared the display to all-blue but did not successfully reboot.
Can anyone suggest what to try via the remote login to help diagnose what is happening? I am familiar with typical Linux architecture but the differences in Mac OS X are leaving me a bit disoriented.

  • Links in mails forwarded by an inbox rule get broken/removed

    Hi,
after I upgraded from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 I got a weired problem with auto forwared e-mails as this mails end up with broken (empty).
Only links with custom protocol headers are broken/removed, HTML links (http://, https://) are not removed.
Only internal mails forwarded by an inbound rule (created with outlook) have this problem, mails forwarded directly with Outlook or mails auto forwarded (inbox rule) to an external receipient are ok.
Original links in HTML Mail Source (partly) look like this
    <a href="MIS:\\VGD12_1_KS\2014\0623\VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm?openmode=0">VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm<
    and end up as
    <a href="">VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm<
Any suggestion to solve or further analyse this problem is welcome.
    Regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin,
From your description, I recommend you send the following message to an internal recipient directly and check if it will be corrupted.

I look forward to your response.

  • After I updated to Firefox 5.0, I am unable to access my TalkTalk Webmail Inbox. Talktalk say that there are 'issues' with Firefox 5. Any suggestions???

I can login to the Talktalk Tiscali webmail site. However I cannot access the mail folders such as Inbox etc. My contact with Talktalk is not very satisfactory and they state that there is an issue with Firefox 5 and that I should use another Browser. When I try with Google Chrome, I can indeed access the mail folders as before so there is an ISSUE with Firefox 5.

Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 ''if'' you set the browser to ''lie'' to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.
You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: [http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=185113#post2452787 Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums].
Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.
    Does it work?

  • Cannot get access to my Tiscali webmail account with Firefox 5 - no problem with Firefox 4

Trying to log into my Tiscali webmail account I am told I have "undefined new emails" rather than the 33 new emails I know are there (via another laptop). Because the emails are "undefined" I can't get any further. Tiscali mail worked fine with Firefox 3 and 4 so what's gone wrong now?
    Cheers
    Jim

The problem is caused by Tiscali failing to update their software to work with Firefox 4.0.x
You can overcome the problem by doing the following.<br><br>
#In the location bar at the top, type: '''about:config '''and hit Enter.<br><br>
#In the filter at the top, copy/paste the following: '''general.useragent.override''' This will display a blank page.<br><br>
#Right click anywhere in the blank area and choose "'''New'''" and then "'''String'''". In the dialog box which appears, copy/paste '''general.useragent.override '''again and click OK. The dialog box will remain on screen, but you'll see that name appear above where it previously said "''Enter Preference Name''".<br><br>
    #Next, copy/paste the following: '''Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1'''<br><br>
#Click OK and then go to File | Exit. Restart Firefox again and try and login to Tiscali.
I've uploaded a screenshot for you to illustrate the steps you need to take.
''The above steps assume you have Firefox 4.0.1 installed. To update from the version you have now, click '''Help '''| '''Check For Updates'''''.

  • Why am I continually being asked my security question on my banking application when I use either Windows XP or Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6.13 but not on my Windows XP system with Firefox 3.6.3?

I have three computers, two run Windows XP. One of the XP systems has Firefox 3.6.3 and the other has 3.6.13 installed. The banking application login acts normally with Firefox 3.6.3 but each banking login requires the security question answered with Firefox 3.6.13. This happens on both the Windows XP system using 3.6.13 and the Windows 7 system using 3.6.13. Testing Internet Explorer on all three computers does not show the same problem with the security question.
I am unable to trace this starting with any particular Firefox update due to initially thinking the problem was with the banking website.
    The login webpage is https://you.usersonlnet.com/asp/USERS/Common/Login/NetLogin.asp

I believe I've solved this issue by carrying out the following action:-
First cancel all “send and receive” operations in OutLook. Next remove all emails from your "Outbox" (by either deleting them or moving them to the “Draft” folder). Next shutdown OutLook and then click on the “Start” button on the lower left-hand side of the Window’s taskbar, then click on “Run” now type in “regsvr32.exe inetcomm.dll” without the quotation marks, so it looks like this:
    regsvr32.exe inetcomm.dll
Note the space between .exe and inetcomm.dll and hit “Enter” on the keyboard.
The computer will execute the command. If all goes well in a few moments a dialog box will appear and state “dll registered successful
I have not had it hand since ... cross fingers ;)

  • New Yahoo mail reply/forward works with Explorer but not Firefox

Recently switched my Yahoo mail account to New Yahoo Mail. New Yahoo worked fine with Firefox until Firefox update. Now can see my mail but can't reply or forward. As suggested by Yahoo, upgraded both Flash Player & Java Script & also disabled Firefox plugins but no luck. After Flash/Java upgrades, New Yahoo worked with Explorer.

  • Cannot compose or reply using yahoo mail with firefox

I have done everything Yahoo says to do which is FF's solution to my problem, but it does not solve the problem
Yahoo mail works fine with IE & CHROME but with FF 33 & 34 it will not allow me to compose or reply to an email!
And the checkboxes with the icons inside have been there for MANY versions.
Sad that I will have to switch to Chrome or IE

I am suddenly having this problem with not being able to
    reply/forward to (certain Gmail conversations).
Now using, Mac OS 10.5.8 and experienced the presence of this issue with Firefox 3.6.10. AND 3.6.13 but not with Beta 4.
I have used Safari and the error is not reproducible. This issue is exclusively present to Gmail in FF.
I can confirm that FF config is presently dom.storage.enabled.
I have started FF in safemode, disabled, updated and enabled all plugins and add-ons, restarted FF and desktop many times, the issue is still present in FF 3.6.10/3.6.13.
Only some conversations cause this error. When I click on particular conversations reply/forward tab, the page freezes and the only way to temporarily resolve this, is to click the refresh icon as F5 will not work.
It does not freeze the whole
FF browser, just the window with Gmail.
I need a fix as FF is my primary browser.
    Thanks in advance! :-)

  • I recently opened an email with some sort of virus and now I cannot forward, reply, send emails or view you tubes only with firefox. Can you help?

I recently viewed an email and received some sort of virus. Only in the email address where I view in infected email and only when using Firefox do I have a problem. When using the email address I can no longer send emails, reply to emails or forward emails. I can no longer view You Tubes when using FirefoxI. I can send emails, reply, and forward emails and view You Tubes when using internet explorer. I do not have this problem when using another computer. I only have the problem described when using Firefox with the computer which was infected. I prefer Firefox so can you please guide me in a direction to address the problem.
    Phil

thx for your response. are saying websites such as hotmail and yahoo mail detect that they are being accessed via firefox and turn off the JavaScript that makes hot links? really? additionally, i have friends with firefox in which hyperlinks stay active when they are copied and pasted.
was the "Make Link" add-on you posted supposed to fix the problem? i downloaded it, but i don't know where the "context menu" is that is supposed to help me. how to i view this context window now that i have downloaded the add-on?

  • For no apparent reason, my email will not autofill addresses. I have no problem on IE, Chrome or Opera. This problem just started with firefox within the last 24 hours. My mail server is AT&T/Yahoo, and I use webmail - not a mail program.

With all other browsers, when I compose an email, once I start to put the recipient's name in the To box, it will autofill the name if it is in my Contacts. This has been the case with firefox until the last 24 hours. Now, firefox does not automatically recognize any of my contacts. This problem is not happening on IE, Chrome, or Opera. I access my email through my AT&T/Yahoo account on the web, not through a mail program.

please try to uninstall the adobe flash plugin from the windows control panel. afterwards manually delete any leftover files in ''C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash'' and download & install the plugin again (uncheck the option to install the bundled security software): www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
