Mail forwarding with so_object_send

Hi,
I have the problem that when I resend/forward an existing mail with attachment with fm "so_object_send" the old receiver gets the mail a second time, although he is not assigned in the table "receivers".
How can I avoid, this behavior???
Thanks for any ideas.

  • Send a mail use FM 'so_object_send' with a Script form layout

    Hi,
I try to send a mail use FM 'so_object_send', is it possible to use a sap script form for the layout?
    Please give more details....

    Hi,
Did you debug and check this function module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' ?
As you said its giving you a sy-subrc = 2, did you check at what stage it is giving you an error ?
Also, Commit work = 'X' has nothing to do with this as you are getting an error of Sy-subrc = 2.
Also, while debugging are you getting the email address fetched from database table ? If no, then the sender's email has not been maintained. You will have to maintain the sender's email in the user details in SU02 under Address tab.
I would recommend you to go for BCS to send emails wherein you specify the sender email address directly in the program rather than adding email address in every user's logon details.
    Regards,
    Danish.

  • Issues with Personal Domain & mail forwarding.

    Hi all,
I have (after several weeks of fiddling, tinkering, messing and stressing) finally got my personal domain pointed at my iWeb site. It took long enough, but now everything is as it should be.
Except for one small annoying thing.
I have mail forwarding set up at my domain registrar. This works fine, expect when sending mail using .mac mail. In other words, when someone sends mail to an e-mail address which uses my domain name - it arrives in my inbox. But it someone sends it using the mac.com servers, then it gets returned as undeliverable.
    Anybody got any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Paul C.

To clarify, if I've registered the domain "mydomain.com", my registrar forwards any e-mails that are addressed: [email protected] to the mailbox of my ISP.
This works when e-mails are sent to this address via an ISP's smtp server and via most webmail. But when sent via mac.com servers, it comes back with a failure stating: "reason: 554 5.7.1 Recipient access denied.

iPad- on all Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email.  When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing.  All the folders are emptied. All my mail is either read, trash, or deleted. Also, when I tap on the mail app on iPad home page, gmail is no problem but for yahoo I get error: no password for yahoo. Go to Mail Account Settings and enter password.  I'm stuck. Suggestions?  Thank you.

    Ask and you shell receive.....lol
Go to your Gmail account in the browser.
Hit the folder icon that brings up the folder selection.
Scroll down to the bottom and select desktop version.
The broswer will refresh and bring up your gmail account as though you were looking on it on the computer.
The go to the upper right corner and select settings.
Then go to forwarding and pop/imap
    Go look at pop download
There you'll find 3 numbered lines
    Go to 1. Status
And select enable pop for all mail
    Then save the settings
Once you have done that you can go back to BlackBerry device settings and sync your mail or wait for it to sync it's self.
Let me know how it works out.
I just did it and it sync within minutes.

  • Address mapping / mail forwarding (equivalent to virtusertable in sendmail)

Is there an equivalent setting somewhere with Snow Leopard Server, to do address mapping, as you would under sendmail on Linux? (with /etc/mail/virtusertable)
i.e. create address maps, for mail forwarding. if mail comes to this email address on the server, forward it to this address (even outside the server on another domain).

look into here or elsewhere in the postfix docs:
    http://www.postfix.org/rewrite.html

  • ICloud : automatic mail forward doesn't work

    Hi,
I've setup an automatic mail forwarding through icloud.com mail application, in preferences.
    At first, it worked.
A few days later it doesn't.
I've tryed to disable, enable, re-type the destination email address (gmail), nothing works : mails won't be forwarded, but they get deleted (I checked the option, this one works).
I've contacted Apple Support Express Lane, who reset my preferences on the server (it changed nothing to the preferences I see) : there is no result on this one either.
When I forward an email manually to the same gmail address : it works.
Any of you having the same issue ?

Update. It appears that auto forwarding works except for emails sent from a gmail account associated with the "forward to" address. If I send from my comcast account it works, but if I send from my gmail account, using the gmail or comcast address, it doesn't. On the plus side, mail sent from other gmail accounts apeears to work.  So other than for testing purposes, this may not be a big deal.

  • Links in mails forwarded by an inbox rule get broken/removed

    Hi,
after I upgraded from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 I got a weired problem with auto forwared e-mails as this mails end up with broken (empty).
Only links with custom protocol headers are broken/removed, HTML links (http://, https://) are not removed.
Only internal mails forwarded by an inbound rule (created with outlook) have this problem, mails forwarded directly with Outlook or mails auto forwarded (inbox rule) to an external receipient are ok.
Original links in HTML Mail Source (partly) look like this
    <a href="MIS:\\VGD12_1_KS\2014\0623\VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm?openmode=0">VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm<
    and end up as
    <a href="">VGD12_1_Kreditsanierung_TM604_D20140623.xlsm<
Any suggestion to solve or further analyse this problem is welcome.

  • How to set up domain mail forwarding

    Greeting gurus.
I am a BT Business Broadband custome and BT also host my domain.
I am terminating my Boradband service next week but the domain is not for renewal until 2012.
I have trying to find how to set  up mail forwarding for the domain.
I would like all mail addressed to [email protected] -> [email protected]
Replies can then be sent from the appropriate domain.
The reason is that mydomain.com is effectively being mothballed, but I wish to ensure that any mail does not just get lost.
I am on the support line but wanted to know if anyone can help me quicker.
    thanks.
ps: this is my first post so be gentle with me!

The business forums would be a better place for this.
    http://business.forums.bt.com/
I've not hosted a domain with BT, but all the other domain registration/hosting companies I've used have a browser based control panel where these things are configured.
You say the domain is being mothballed. You'll have to continue with the registration though, and BT claim to offer email with all domain registrations, so why not just carry on as you are ?

  • SMTP mail forwarding

    Hi ,
In one of my customers IMS system we have a web mail server with http.smtphost settings which forwards the http/smtp traffic to one of
virus wall server for filtering. After reading the forum thred below I am also thinking of avoiding the http.smtphost method and using some other way of
http/smtp mail forwarding. Bcos this syetm carry huge http based traffic in that ISP.
web mail behaviour for unknown recipient
I can enable imta on the same web mail host and remove http.smtphost setting so that web mail server can
use its defualt for http/smtp delivery. But my problem is how can I forward "all" the channels traffic to the virus wall ( not only tcp_local)?
    msg server version --> 7u3
    Thanks and best regards,
    ...

Adding the daemon option to the tcp_local channel, as Ray suggested, will route all mail enqueued to the tcp_local channel to the specified host. However, if you want to route all mail thru that host, rather than just that which would normally go thru the tcp_local channel (ie, mail submitted by webmail users and destined for other users on the same system, it will be more complicated. If that other mail all goes thru the tcp_intranet channel, you could add the daemon option to the tcp_intranet channel as well and that would be the end of it. But if this is a single-host deployment where mshttpd is running on the same system as the message store, then such local delivery would probably go directly to the ims-ms channel.
See the aliasdetourhost option in Routing After Address Validation But Before Expansion in the Admin Guide:
    http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Configuring+Channel+Definitions#ConfiguringChannelDefinitions-RoutingAfterAddressValidationButBeforeExpansion
    It is also mentioned in

  • Why doesn't mail work with Att Yahoo servers?

Ever since Bellsouth went to using Yahoo to handle their email it hasn't worked regularly. Now that my system is so old they are incapable of helping. They do not have any tech support for Apple products nor do they seem to care. The conversation all ways ends up that they say something is wrong with the mail program or the computer. Since i had it checked out I know that is BS.
I know there are a number of people using older Mac Mail programs with one of the At&T companies that someone must have found a solution, or not? There are pages of Mac owners complaining on the ATT site but no solutions.
Looking for someone that has succeeded in dealing with ATT and what is it?
It may be that the solution is using a different email program than Mac Mail or forwarding from a different email supplier. Any suggestions?

Thanks to all whom replyed to my query. I have spent more time with ATT and I hired a local computer guy to help. Using you alls info and my high priced friend the email works most of the day. I have found a couple things... some say the servers are IMAP and some say they are POP. What I have had to do is have both set ups available to me to use to get and send mail. Right now the POP is working best.
ATT will tell you either, depending on the fool you talk to. The last guy said only POP will work. The guy befoe said they were IMAP. They also like to send people to their 3rd party tech people. Unfortunately they don't know anything about macs and they won't tell you that until after you pay them. What the final say from ATT is that they only guarantee that you can get you mail via web-mail and will do little to nothing to help you othet than what is correographed on their computer screen. If that doesn't help thay basicly say tuff luck. My suggestion to all is find someone else other than ATT OR IT'S SUBS.
Currently 2 of my three bellsouth.net emails address work a couple days at a time. One only works for 15 minutes. To get it to work you can open the Connection Doctor and run it usually once and the email will begin working again. You can access it (OS 10.8.4) by clicking on the little "triangle with exclaimation point" that comes up next to you email box name. I leave open all day to make it easier to access. It also makes the G5 work at the same time. Nor because they are connected but because the problem is with Yahoo-ATT.
         Current POP settings are:
inbound.att.net     port 110 with SSL and password authentication
outbound.att.net   port 465 with SSL and password authentication on two of the emails
On one of the emails I have a GoDaddy web account that uses:
pop.secureserver.net  default port selection with SSL and password authentication
for the out going mail server which works for the bellsouth email. Seems like it shouldn't but it does.
I also keep the IMAP settings as noted by "goodmanrc" as sometimes it works.
                       Incoming Mail Server
                          Host Name       pop.att.yahoo.com
                          Use SSL          ON
                          Authentication  Password
                          Port                995
                       Outgoing Mail Server
                          Host Name      smtp.att.yahoo.com
                          Use SSL         OFF
                          Authentication  Password
                          Port               25
The settings as noted by Andrew99 use to work before I got Uverse. Now they no longer work. At least not this week.
    Thanks again to all.

  • OS X Mail forward Major bug

After upgrading to OS X Yosemite i noticed this strange bug
I normally have a quotation template mail which i send to all my clients and everytime i get a new request,i forward the same mail just by editing the content and send it to the new address .However after upgrading to 10.10 i realised that the new mail also goes to to the old recipient and it shows up as conversation inspite of me not marking it to the older client. This problem comes and goes.
For ex. [email protected] needed a quote
I sent an email with text, picture and quotation attached in pdf to [email protected]
then [email protected] had an enquiry .So i forwarded the same mail by editing the quotation text of the .pdf file and changing the text in the mail forward and attaching the new pdf quotation file. This saves me time to retype the whole covering letter and attaching the same pictures.Just the new edited .pdf has to be attached
However After sending all these mails show up as a conversation under sent mails ,where in the mail sent to [email protected] goes to [email protected] inspite of me not marking the mail to [email protected]

I'll have to do some testing to determine if I see the same thing. Are you certain the emails went to both and are not just grouped together as a "conversation" in Mail?
You might want to consider making a Stationery Template for your quotes. Here is a tutorial: http://www.chriswrites.com/create-custom-html-email-templates-in-the-os-x-mail-a pp/
The path to the Stationery for Step 3 is this in Yosemite:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Application Support/Mail/Stationery/Apple/Contents/Resources/Custom/Contents/Resources/
    As mentioned here: https://willow4u.wordpress.com/2015/01/04/custom-html-email-stationary-os-x-yose mite/
That way, you can create your boilerplate in the Stationery and just add the PDF (and any additional comments for that particular customer).

  • Nokia Mail forwarding to Hotmail

    Hello everybody!
I am provided with an account from Nokia, an OVI account. I am willing to forward the e-mail that I receive in this account to my Hotmail. But I accidentally did a mistake. When I put my hotmail account name in OVI in order to forward, there was an e-mail sent to my Hotmail (a verification e-mail).
I accidentally clicked to block the OVI account in that e-mail. Now I cannot do anything, OVI refuses to setup the forwarding account. In addition, when I sign-in in my Hotmail and go to the corresponding section to add an account to receive messages, the process cannot be completed. How can I resolve this problem?
    Thank you in advance!!

    Hi,
How do you configure your auto-forwarding for your mailbox? We also need to check whether other users can auto-forward message to Hotmail or Gmail properly.
Generally, we configure mail forwarding by using ForwardingAddress parameter in Set-Mailbox cmdlet. If so, we also need to create a mail contact or mail user for your hotmail/gmail address in Exchange server. For more information about mail
    forwarding, please refer to:

  • Mail Forward question

    Hi
Thanks to the zoneedit option in the iwebfaq.org page, I have mydomain.com now up and running
The final step though has to to with mailforwarding. I want to have various email addresses available such as [email protected] I have tried the first one with my own, and in zoneedit I have added one Mail Forward rule so that mails to [email protected] get forwarded to my personal .mac mail
However, when I try to send mails to this address, I get an error message back, saying the following error Relay access denied
    554 5.0.0 Service unavailable
    <<< 554 5.5.1 Error: no valid recipients
It seems the email address [email protected] doestn exist? which is kind of obvious since I havent 'created' this address
    How do I do this?
    thanks
