Mail group not working correctly

I have built a group in my contacts that contain 32 emails, and when I mail to that group only 21 users end up in the list. Has anyone else had this problem?

Since installing Yosemite Mail will not work correctly.

The number of unread e-mails is not showing correctly on the inbox icon, and doesn't show on the dock icon. Although i have set it to "do not store deleted e-mails on the server" every time it connects to the server it displays the e-mails i have just deleted. It is that bad that i am now using Outlook as my Mail software. Are you able to go back to your previous Operating System, in my case Mavericks, it was far far better than Yosemite!!!

Mail notifications not working correctly on iPhone 5

On my new iPhone 5 I have mail notifications set up as on in the notification center, alert style is banners, badge app icon is on and show preview is on, view in lock screen is off. It is set up the same way as when I had an iPhone 4. However, when I get a new email and the phone's screen is not on, the next time I turn it on I will not get the banner alert, all I see is the badge icon. This is kind of annoying as I would like to see the banner to know who the email is from before going into the mail app.
The notifications for mail on my iPad running iOS 6 just like my iPhone 5 are set up the same way and work correctly.
Why would they not be working correctly on my iPhone 5?

I have tried what you are saying and all the above, I don't think you understand what we are saying is happening to us because you probably never used or use it. We understand that you can see the notification by pulling down the notification tab from the top of the screen but in the past for example on my ipad and iphone 4 it would show you a preview banner of your emails you have received for the day had you not unlocked your phone for any given amount of time and given you did receive any emails the next time you unlocked your phone it would bring up top of the screen a preview of each email you had in your inbox automatically one by one in the banners without having to go to the notification pull down. It is a bug because I guarntee if you turned it on you wouldn't see what were talkin about either and you wouldn't if you've never were setup for that intention either.

Office 2013 Sent To Mail Recipient Not Working Correctly.

Sort by To / From in Mail is not working correctly

As an example: I move the mails from the Sent - Gmail folder to a folder I created On My Mac
In this folder the sorting was by TO but the system did not execute this
Instead it sorted by From and the To was not shown at all !
This is just one example . In general. it sometimes works, but mostly not
It is f ex correct in the Sent Gmail folder or Inbox, but you but those are exceptions.

Applescript to create mail is not working correct in Lion

When I run this applescript in Lion to send a mail with Apple Mail

It send the mail just fine
Go to Mail and you see it in send items
Now try to close Mail with cmd q and you notice that the mail popup ready to send a second time.
If you hit the send button it will be mailed again and when you use cmd q now it will close Mail.
As far as I know this will not happen in Snow
If it is possible I like to know I I am correct that it is working OK in Snow and that Lion is the problem

I think setting visible always to true will be the solution, but I can't test in Snow anymore.

Smart Group not working Correctly

I use Plaxo to sync my Outlook (exchange) to my Address Book. My Outlook hits my blackberry, so I am going to Omit members of the group "Old".
I can add members to the group Old with no problem. It currently has 99 of my 800 contacts. I created a Smart Group that says to Not include cards that belong to Old. When I click on this list, it shows only 95 contacts, which should be much more. I deleted the addressbook-v22.abcddb file and restarted Address Book and it showed several more groups.
My Non Old Smart group is not very smart today.

C, sorry…I read your posts out of order. I see that you have links to your smart groups after all. My apologies.
It's as you say, the course pages load up, but I don't see anything in the smart groups. Just thinking out loud here…maybe the search criteria don't genuinely match anything on your site? Perhaps there are actual matches, but you've hidden content with a new credential?…I accessed both pages using the "Unauthenticated" and "All" credentials. My last/craziest guess is that it has something to do with localization…français versus anglais?

Mail update not working correctly

Hi-
In the last week, my macs have stopped updating (on mobileme) correctly. I can see new mail on all macs but only the iphone correctly updates any delete I make.
If I view the mail on one mac and move some and delete some, when I open the second mac all of the original "new mails" are still in the inbox.
Any ideas appreciated (it all started with the ipad 4.2 update

MX7 Grouping not working correctly

I am trying a phone usage report that is grouped by phone
number. At the end of each phone number, I want to do a summary by
the phone number. However, the first phone number always appears on
the last phone number’s summary.

I guess this is a bug with report builder. Try this:
create a calculated field and assign your group name to the
field. Then display that field where you are displaying the group
name.
In your case, create one calculated field as 'temp' and
assign phone number field to it. and then display 'calc.temp' where
you are displaying the group name.

Mail just not working correctly

Right, i'm using a mac book OS X Leopard 10.5.6 version.
Everything was going find, then i tried to send an email with some pic's attached. it was taking too long to sent so i cancelled it. It now has these stored in the drafts.
I have tried to delete these but they wont shift.
Every time i open mail it tries to sent them even thought i click cancel.
Also the messages in my inbox will not delete.
I have tried logging into my mobileme account and it deletes them on there, however on my macbook they are still there.
This has totally messed my mail up as now i try and create a new message to send and it just takes forever, stating that only half of the mail it sent.
I also can not receive any new mail.
Total mess really....
any ideas

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.

Mail Drafts not working correctly

The Drafts box in Mail is showing 3 items in two different email draft boxes. All the emails were sent properly. I didn’t put the files in the Drafts box.
They will stay there indefinitely, until I delete them.
One box shows it has 2 drafts in it, but when I click on the box, there is only one file shown (long sent).
I am getting to where I don’t trust Mail. You would think Apple could get a mail client working right, but it has been years and they still don’t know how to make a decent mail client.

I dont know what to do. When I opened my mail from my Macbook pro, it only had my notes in my inbox. As if I had no new mail or any history mail at all. It just had my notes (the ones i make in my iphone which are automatically sent by iCloud to my laptop). I already updated my laptop today to see if that was causing the problem, but once it had updated there was no change at all. I opened safari, and went to yahoo to check on my mail. There I saw all my new and old mail. Can anyone help me please?! I'm new to this.

Is this all being done in iPhoto? If so then backup your iPhoto library and depress the option and command keys and rebuild the library

I seem to have to restart my 4s constantly to get my mail accounts to sync. Any thoughts?

10.9.2 Mail not working correctly

I'm the only person in the office to upgrade to 10.9.2 (thankfully!). Since then, Mail has not worked correctly. It is an IMAP account.
When I click on an existing message in my inbox, instead of displaying instantly it takes 3-4 seconds. The screen scrolls light grey, dark grey, light grey, dark grey then the message. I can live with this but it's very annoying.
But worse, I now cannot perform any mail searches to refer back to existing messages I have in any of my mailboxes. Search functions 'to, 'from' 'entire message', 'any' do not work. Even if the message or sender is in the inbox, it can’t find it. This is serious as I'm constantly using this function.

My wife is having the exact same problem all of a sudden with gmail on her MacBook Air. Also running 10.9.2. Everything is running perfectly on the iPhone, but on the Mac, no new email is downloading and the inbox is not syncing.

Groups not working in apple mail

Hi,
Since the update to 19.9.1 mail groups began working again, but now they've stopped. It used to be I could enter the first few letters in the address field and either a person's or group's name would show up to be selected. Not groups don't show up anymore.
Any idea why?

I have the same Problem... Did u try to delete the "Envelope Index"? ( got to Library/Mail/V2/... delete all files Envelope ... Close Mail before! and then restart Mail.)
I tried that but nothing happen... How tu use Mail without search feature!!
