Mail Hangs on Sending Messages, Occasionally Crashes, and Slowing Down

Hi All,
Mail has been responding slowly lately and I get the occassional odd crash at random times and for no apparent reason.
Today, however, I get the spinning beach ball of death when I try to respond to received mail. So I guess its time for a fix.
I repair permissions weekly (today in fact) and have reasonably small mail boxes.
I seem to recall reading about someone else with this problem, but can't find the thread any more.
All suggestions appreciated and thanks.

My iPod Touch 4th Generation keeps crashing and slowing down

I have an iPod touch 4g 8Gb. I've got it i think 2 years ago. Maybe even 3 I'm not sure. it is running IOS 6.1.6 . I never had problems with IOS 6 like other people said. It was perfectly fine. Until IOS7 came out.(I know it is not capable with iPod Touch 4) I restored it made sure background app refresh wasn't on and everything you can think of but it didn't seem to help. I have no clue about what the problem is. it has space in it. There are like 3 games Facebook and Skype only. I don't know how I could speed it up. I would highly appreciate it if anyone helped me with this problem. Thank you

I actually restored and set it up like a brand new iPod 3 months ago and never used it afterward. I feel like Apple made the iPods extremely slower after the IOS7 came out, because it wasn't that slow and crashing before IOS 7 was released. Anyway I assume that there are no solutions for my problem. Thanks.

XP and P6N SLi Platinum, crashes and slows down

Installed the above board into my XP machine last Monday. New processor and new ram and brand new top range power unit. It worked a treat, installed some new drivers and the system was lovely. However, being too clever for my own good, thought it would run even better on a fresh re install of windows XP.
Ah ah, oh to turn back the clock. Ist fresh install was lovely other then whenever it used windows installer 3.1 it would often take five minutes to get to 100% to start that and then it would simply disappear. Only appearing when you tried to shut down. Hopeless. Did a second fresh install, downloaded all the updates, service pack 2, just like it was before I started. Same problem with installer, and if you had more then one application open, the mouse would move like it was drunk and as you opened folders there would be strange noises from the speakers and then suddenly a blue screen. Have tried checking all the device drivers, have tried everything I can think of. Now I used it for five days before the fresh install and no problem. Have touched the BIOS, and nothing added to the machine.
This is the last chance before I go back to my drive copy of how it was before I got smart, but if any one can think of anything to try I'm game. Many thanks in advance.

Try to use a Windows XP install CD that allready includes SP2. If you do not have one, you can use XP ISO BUILDER or NLite to create a new install CD based on your existing one. Use Google to find one of the tools I mentioned. Guides can be found all over the internet.
Use an up-to-date install CD and try again with that one.

Firefox 27.0.1 crashes and slow dow, useless for me.I want to change IE, how can I migrating my bookmarks to IE?

I used Firefox for more than 10 years (actual version 27.0.1). Since2-3 days Firefox crashes and slows down. I have already blocked all the additions, without any results. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, the situation remained the same. I can’t really use Firefox support, because I had to wait more than 5 minutes to open the page. I made 2 virus research (MS Security Essential, and MS anti malware) I did not have virus.
I returned to the base state of Firefox, It fonctioned, but after the restart of Windows, it started again slow down.
I tried IE it function well without any problem, but it’s slightly strange for me, but I have to work, so I must use another one if Firefox is dying on my computer.
Unfortunately I have more than hundred important bookmarks in Firefox which are necessary for my daily work, so I can’t simply uninstall Firefox and use IE.
My question: If Firefox is not reparable how can I migrating all my bookmarks to IE?

I saved all my bookmarks to a library (I have created a library) and I used the importation function of IE, but it was partially successful, more than 70 % of the bookmark has disappeared. I suppose it was a mistake of the conversion made by IE. So I uninstalled and reinstalled again Firefox, thereafter I reinstated the bookmarks.
I suppose, that I found a reason for the crashes and the freezing, probably it was a consequence of the adobe flash player 12. It seems Firefox has a conflict with adobe flash player.
So as conclusion I have trapped between Firefox and IE, Firefox does not work well on my computer, IE work, but without my bookmark and without my usual comfort and customization of my Firefox…
Just a note: during this letter writing, Firefox has slowed down 2 times.

But it doesn't go off. I keep seeing the small white 'turning wheel' untill the battery is gone. After that, it works again (and so does the e-mail). This happens about every week. What can I do?

Anyway, as I mentioned, I don't use any sync-able email, just a very plain-jane POP email provider. iSync reports no devices and has nothing in its log, which matches my never having installed anything in need of syncing.
The thing is, if Mail says its sending something when nothing was ever sent, that's a largish bug whether it is actually sending something or isn't, and there isn't really enough info here to know which of those are the case. Maybe Mail just displays "Sending" because an attempt to do something reasonable is timing out, maybe it does an innocuous and normal POP thing using very confusing nomenclature, or maybe it's really trying to send something which has a wrong flag or something. There isn't really enough info to know what is going on, so I was hoping someone could identify the symptoms.

I have AT&T Yahoo DSL and my imac mail can't send messages. It says the smpt server has timed out trying to send the message on port 25.

Open Connection Doctor in the Window menu
Double click on whatever is showing as red.
Check the following settings.
pop.att.yahoo.com
smtp.att.yahoo.com
Click Advanced to enter the SSL and port info.
Both incoming and outgoing mail use authentication
Use (SSL) and SMTP port 465.
Use (SSL) and change the POP3 port 995.
Confirm the above settings before clicking OK.
Then check connection doctor again.
There is an incoming mail server and an outgoing mail server for each account.
So for each account there should be 2 servers.
Count how many servers there are set up in connection doctor.

However, as I had tried what you suggested (and a lot more as I am 'reasonably' competent), and had been so doing since yesterday afternoon, I do believe that what you suggested was correct - that it was my third rate ISP that was at fault.

Sending messages thru email and SMS without using XMS APIs

Hi,
I already have some working code that sends messages thru email and SMS. But currently it uses XMS APIs therefore I have a dependency on files like wdk.jar. I want to try and eliminate using the XMS APIs and only use soap to send these messages. I was wondering if there is some documentation available on how I can do this. Also if there a lot of code that needs to be written to do that.
I primarily want a very simple application that sends only string messages and reduce my dependencies.
I would really appreciate all the advice.

Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

this happenens in case of DB2 on some machine where the issue about high load on DB2 is caused by standard programming in SAP XI that executes a statement, where it uses the condition 'where 1<0' prio to the original SQL statement configured in the channel configuration,

Status: TO_BE_DELIVERED
Which means that the message was successfully delivered from Integration Server point of view and it states that the messages is initially handed over to the Messaging System.
TO_BE_DELIVERED occurs while the message is put into the Messaging System receive queue.
Solution:
This is done via the Messaging System receive servlet:

Only if this was executed successfully the Messaging System returns HTTP 200 to the Integration Server and the Status TO_BE_DELIVERED moves to DELIVERING

The website may need more memory than you have available if you are running iOS 5.1.1 on the original iPad. Try some basic troubleshooting steps. Maybe quitting all apps might be the best thing to try.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit ALL apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle.
