Mail - how do I know the e-mail I sent has been received?

Is there a setting in Mail that sent an automatic reply back to me when the recipient opens the e-mail that I sent them??

I don't know of any email program that will do that, unless it is a client of Lotus Notes or some other proprietary email system. However, part of the process of sending an email is acknowledgment so you know the message got sent and is sitting on the recipient's server. After that, there is no way to know if your recipient ever logs in and gets the message.

Not possible. In order to read an email in the preview pane requires opening the message. You can mark a message that you've read as unread after reading it.

Force-quit Photos as recommended by Arsenal1607.
Make backup of your iPhoto Library and run the iPhoto Library First Aid tools to repair the permissions on your library and rebuild the iPhoto Library.
To launch the First Aid Tools hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First aid tools. You'd to hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
Try both the options "Repair Permissions" and "Rebuild library". Then try again to migrate the iPhoto Library to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.
Make sure, you have plenty of free storage. Don't try the migration, if you are running out of storage.

Short answer, you don't.
There's a pseudo-standard for read receipts that purports to tell you, but it's easily circumvented, either by the recipient using a mail client that doesn't support the 'standard' (hint: most don't), or by the recipient turning off read reciepts. In short, not getting a read reciept does not mean the message wasn't read, and therefore the whole concept is junk.
There are some other options that might get you further along... for example, if the message includes images or other HTML content then you could check the web server logs and track back who requested the image content. This does, of course, require that the user has their mail client set to display images and 'rich content' - if they don't download the image you can't know.
If the recipient is in your domain (or in a domain you control) then you could query the mail server logs - you'll see the message saved to the user's mailbox and can be pretty sure it's downloaded to their mail client the next time they POP or IMAP in. However this only implies it was delivered, not read, and is only valid for mail domains you control (you don't have this level of visibility into other mail servers).
At the end of the day, the only foolproof answer is: ask.

There is no specific customizing to allow SRM confirmation: just give correct role to users in order access to confirmation transactions (authorization object BBP_PD_CNF ). Check with roles EMPLOYEE* or PURCHASER*.

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

Attachment Downloading in Mail - How do you know the status of the download

I'm trying to send a keynote presentation from my iMac to my MacBook and it doesn't seem to be working. The attachment shows up in my email, I click on it, and it doesn't really do anything. Is there a way to check the status of the download, or clear all the downloads for mail? I think it's just the size of the file, because pages files work, and even very small keynote files, but not a 3 slide keynote presentation.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

In short a Local Area Network is your network at home. Both your computers are somehow conncted to the internet. Most people don't want to afford seperate internet lines for each computer they own, so they build a LAN.
Many internet providers will give you a modem with more than one network port so you can plug in more than one computers. If there's only one port, most people connect a router to get more ports. If you have wireless at home, you also have a LAN.
Now to the better options: On both copmuters: Go to system preferences > Sharing. Enable File Sharing. To learn more about it, just click on the question mark button at the lower right.
After you did this, open a Finder window. In the sidebar there will be a new item: Shared. If you open the triangle you'll see the computer name of your other computer. This can take a few seconds to show up.
Now you just place the files you want to share in your Public folder so the other Mac can access it.

So im creating a game in which I collect objects that represent money.After I die in the game i get into the Shop Class in which i can buy different items depending on the money i have. So lets say that after dying i have enough money to get item1 and item2. So i Click on button1 (representing item1) andbutton2 (representing item2) (when clicked their alpha gets to 0.5) and start the game again.Ok so now i have 1 life more and i get more money.But suddenly out of nowhere i feel something strange deep in me, something that i have never felt before -> HUNGER,
I shut down the PC and run as fast as possible to the nearest shop.

After I had satisfied my primal needs I feel the strong urge to play that awesome game of mine again. But when i start the game I start to see some strange things: It seems that I havent got one life moreand neither do i get more money and just to be sure that Im not hallucinating (or that i didnt rememer the lifes i had last time) I die on purpose so the Shop menu shows. So now what I see is making me sad -> button1 and button2 are active and have an alpha of 1( and that means that the game thinks that they were never bought/clicked, that i have never played this game before in my life) So i go crazy (cause all that play before was for nothing and i have to start all over again).
After i calm down, I decide to change my life. 1st BIG change is adding some code into the game. To be more specific: a method that will save the items that i bougth, so when i close the game and start again the things i see will bring joy to my life - >: I still have the items that i bougth last time.
So long story short:
how do i make that when i click a button (it changes its alpha to 0.5)and close the FLA , whenever i open the same FLA, the button that i clicked before will be shown as clicked now(it alpha will be 0.5)

When I first purchased my iPad, my granddaughter downloaded MANY games of Hungry Shark Evolution and charged a huge amount to my account! Fortunately, Apple credited these back to me. Now I've been told I need to transfer all my purchases from my iPad to iTunes on my desktop computer, but I don't know if those credited apps should be included. And HOW do I tell if the apps actually WERE credited?? Also, iCloud has never been an option for me. I've had the iPad over a year now, and iCloud is STILL not an option...it is very light and I can't click on it...what am I doing wrong?

Just to be 100% clear …
Look in /Applications for "Install OS X Mavericks"
Use the Finders Go menu > Applications. To open it.
You may have an Applications folder in your Home directory too, it shouldn't be in there but it is possible.
Also try Spotlight to see if it can find that filename.
Can you also tell us what system you have?
Apple menu > About this Mac > more info button… What is the Model (under the Overview tab).
10.9 doesn't install on all systems, so it could explain why you can't get it, however it usually displays a dialog stating that fact.
