Mail is giving me a hard time specially with my working email address (Exchange Account). Most of the time it doesn't connect, when it finally does it works fine. My MobleMe acoount works OK. Any ideas?

globe picture on startup could mean that G5 tries to start from the network drive (probably G3's), and can't find proper system files.

Photoshop CS3's photomerge giving me a hard time

Hello,
I am trying to merge 4 photos together. All of them are shot with the same
camera settings and they all overlap 25%.
I go through Bridge normally by selecting Tools->Photoshop->Photomerge. After working for a while it throws a 'Script Alert' box on the screen saying "Some images could not be automatically aligned". This has never happened to me before and the photos I'm working on aren't any different from the ones I've merged before. I have also tried merging them two at a time but it didn't work either. Just now I tried it again with older pictures which I have merged before. Photoshop aligned the photos all wrong in the first one and on the other older photos it threw the same 'no-can-do' message as it did with the newer pictures.
What could be the problem?

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.

AU lab giving me a hard time

Hi Guys,
Every time I open AU lab on my macbook pro(late 2011), I get a loud and annoying static noise. Any ideas? It only happens when I'm running the Audio Engine. If the application is open but the engine is paused there's no interference. It only started doing this recently, I've been using it for about a year now as a system equalizer because I found the one in iTunes rather "empty" and I also wanted to use it for netflix and listening to spotify etc.

ITunes won't open, now Quicktime is giving me a hard time!

Hi,
i've been having some problems with my iTunes lately; when I try to open it, it immediately shuts down and then I'm asked wether or not I want to send a bugreport.
After getting no reply to the report, I started looking around on this discussion forum to solve my problem (no music = no fun!). I tried reinstalling Quicktime as this seemed to be a good solution.
After deleting all of my Quicktime files, now I can't even reinstall it and when I try to do so, Safari just stops and I get a crash-report!
Any help?

just checking: are you installing on a Mac or a PC? all the following instructions are PC-specific (you're over in one of the windows parts of Discussions).
hmmm. sounds like you're running the install "on-line" which raises the probability of running into odd problems.
let's try the standalone QT 7.0.3 install again, but we'll take a few additional precautions. for those precautions see:

Having a hard time deleting two junk mail messages! I press edit , I check the message, I try to delete and a screen message appears telling me the message cannot be removed! Not sure what to do here! Please advise?

Did you try swiping across the message in the preview window rather than use the Edit button? If you still can't delete the messages, quite mail and reboot the iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that still doesn't work, log into your email in a web browser and delete the junk mail there.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Having a hard time signing into websites with Safari

Hi, I'm having a hard time signing in my username and password for e-mail addresses I use and for message boards as well. I use Safari all the time accept for my school website that requires IE. Anyways, I use Comcast and I have been trying to sign into my e-mail address name and everyime I click "sign in mail" Safari says "Safari Can't Open Page". So then, I went to my AIM mail to sign in there and then it said the same thing. Then I went to this Apple Forum to ask if anyone knows what the problem is, and then when I went to sign into here, the same thing. So right now I am using Camino, but can anyone help me with this problem or is anyone having the same problem as me? Thanks.

I too have been having a problem of logging into certain websites with a username and password. Instead of logging in successfully with Safari, a blank page or an error would occur.
This happened for: citibank, comcast, sprint, and miscellaneous other sites.
This problem apparently had something to do with my cookies since erasing my cookies seemed to solve the problem. Here's how to do it:
Safari -> Preferences...-> Security -> Show Cookies -> Remove All.

I'm having a real hard time retrieving my emails from my old device

I've switched to a 5s from a 4s I'm having a hard time reciveing my old and new emails and had to manually download all apps ,my contacts went through just fine I'm not reciveing any email? Can anybody help?

Do you have the email accounts created on the new device. You will not get old email from the old devices on the new device, unless they are IMAP or Exchange accounts. Email downloaded to a device are on the local device and are not part of the backup or sync. If you are having issues getting new mail, that is a completely different issue.
Not sure exactly what you did in the activation of this new device, but it sounds like you may have set it up as new and are trying to sync data back from iTunes? Is that correct?

Mail is giving me trouble after upgrading to yosemite. I am unable to enter settings and change email settings. Can someone please help.

I have had the same issue (and I've seen many posters on here mention this, as well). I have an external FireWire drive that, since upgrading to 10.4.9 is not recognized by my G4 PowerBook. It worked fine before the update. Some have said the issue may have occurred if the drive was connected to the computer at the time of the upgrade but mine was not. I'm patiently waiting Apple to fix this and many other apparent flaws with the latest so-called "upgrade."
P.S. I have never had any issues with previous OSX updates and have been a Mac user for 3+ years.

I am working on application, when i have written a process to send mail, i have a project where i have to send mail at a time for all the email id's
given list there are upto 5000 email id's where text body also include certain set of data from a report. thinking at a time 3000 its difficult i divided
it region wise, but still each region have 2000 odd email id's. during testing when i run the process just 950 mails i could send then i got a error
saying "ORA-20001: You have exceeded the maximum number of email messages per workspace. Please contact your administrator." so please
can any one help me to know How many mails i can send at a time per day using APEX mail system?

You are getting the error may be the following reason,
Check the following,
Login as ADMIN and Goto -->Manage Instance-->Instance Settings--> Mail-->Maximum Emails per workspace
Actually this number denotes the Number of mails can be sent per 24 hour for the workspace,It may exceeded.
It may be the reason.
