Mail Loading but can't be opened

I have an Iphone4 and this past week while I have been receiving e-mails on my phone they display the first words of the e-mail. However when I open up the e-mails nothing is displayed. I am being forced to restart my Iphone4 twice a day so that I can continue reading my e-mails. Any idea what is going on?

I am having exactly the same issue. I have an iPhone4 and at first only messages from one particular sender on one account would not show the message body. Then last week all e-mails in all accounts including .Mac, Gmail, and mail on a Mac OSX server, stopped displaying the message body. When browsing e-mail messages, I could display the first four lines of the message without a problem. But when I went to look at the message, the message body would be blank. All of these messages would display fine on my Mac's Mail app.
Thanks to you, restarting the iPhone appears to have solved it but I fear it's only temporary. If anyone can shed light on this issue we would both appreciate it.

Looks like all I needed to do was ask the question and I would answer it.
It is definitely the outlook 2013 calendar item that had the new status. Even though I changed the item to a valid status, I needed to completely remove the item and add it back in with a valid legacy status from the start.

Smartforms emailed as PDF but can't be opened

Hello all,
Several of our SAP users will do a 'Print Preview' of a document to their screen. We are using Smartforms for this. Then they will click on the 'Send e-mail' button and send the document to their email address. It comes to their email as a PDF attachment. Some users, but not all, cannot open the PDF attachment. They get the following error:
'Can't create file: 'filename'.pdf. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions on the folder.'
This does not happen to everyone. Also, when they can't open the PDF file, they can forward it to someone else who can open the file and that person will open it, save it with a different name and then email it back to the person who originally couldn't open it. Now they can open the PDF file.
Any ideas on where to start looking for the source of the problem, SAP, Adobe, PC settings, etc?

Receiving mail fine, but can't send mail

For some reason, my outgoing mail servers are all showing offline. I can receive mail fine. I have my own domain names, and they are all housed on the same host. My boss has one of the same domains and he can send and receive mail fine. I can receive mail, but can't send mail out unless I use my gmail server to send. All my other domains are showing offline on the outgoing. How do I get them back online, and is this a Macmail problem (my boss uses Entourage), or is it a problem with my Qwest DSL? I don't know where to start.
I did call the place where our domains are hosted and all is OK there.

Problem - Cannot send eMail - pop up box says smtp server needs password - if password used this is not recognised.
Solution - Go to Mail>preferences choose Accounts, select one of the accounts.
Look at 'outgoing mail' server, shows ' smtp.(name of server.com) (offline)' then click on it and choose 'edit smtp server list' - the box will show description - '(name of server)', server name - 'smtpmail.(server name.com)' and in use by account - '(account name)'
press the '-' button and the above details will disappear.
Press '+' button and type in 'smtpmail.(server name).com' in the server name box - if you are prompted to save changes, click 'OK' - this may only happen when changing the first account ..
All should now be OK and you can now check if eMail can be sent..
Open an 'unsent eMail' in the Outbox by double clicking on it and clicking 'send' it should be sent.

Then in your Home folder. open Library folder, open Caches folder in that, look for the Mail, and drag it to the Desktop.Move Envelope Index to the Desktop in...

I cannot send from one specific BT Mail account but can access folders using IMAP.

Thunderbird 31.3.0 on WIndows 8.1 64 bit.
I have two email accounts configured into Thunderbird.
Both are BT accounts and have identical configurations.
IMAP is used for reading mail, SMTP for sending mail.
On one I can read folders, delete emails from the Bulk Mail folder, fetch and send mail.
On the other I seem to be able to do everything except send mail.
I can read mail, delete SPAM, but for some reason not send emails.
Both accounts are using "mail.btinternet.com" as the IMAP and SMTP server.
I am using Thunderbird as a back up email client to deal with a very few messages which cause major problems with my main email client which is Windows Live Mail 2012. I have double checked and the mail server details are the same between the two and my WLM client can send emails to the same SMTP server on the same port as Thunderbird fails on.
I know the password is correct because I can connect over IMAP and delete SPAM using Tbird.
The only difference that I can see between the two accounts is that one is "@btinternet.com" and the other is "@talk21.com".
The symptoms - I see the progress bar with "Connected to mail.btinternet.com..." and green all the way across.
Some time later I get a separate warning saying "Login to server mail.btinternet.com failed".
Because of the time delay I am assuming that the session has timed out.
I am also assuming that if the credentials were wrong the rejection would have been immediate (although the delay may be to reduce the effectiveness of brute force attempts to guess the password).
So I know that the IMAP credentials are O.K. - I can access the mailbox.
I know that the SMTP credentials are O.K. - I can send mail from WLM using the same settings.
Further confusion - I know that it worked in the past because I have a test message in my Sent mail from when I first set up Tbird.
This is all very weird.
Has anyone else seen something similar?
Also, is there a debug option where I can trace the SMTP protocol when the email is being sent?

Update: - I sent two separate test messages and saved both the failing emails as Draft to retry after restarting Tbird.
I've just noticed that they are both in a Drafts folder on my mail server.
Not, however, the Drafts area for emails composed using the web mail client but under a separate Folders tree.
I can't send the email with the web mail client, although I can forward it.
So further proof that the IMAP side is working.

Can't receive email in Apple Mail & Entourage but can send email

Have MacBook Pro and been using Leopard for several months - within the past 24- 48 hours Apple Mail and Entourage Mail will not receive or retrieve mail. I can send mail but not retrieve. No changes in e-mail accounts. I can retrieve mail using Window XP on same machine.
Any suggestions?

If an option exists on networksolutions to allow you to log in to your email via your web browser then access your mail via webmail then try deleting the offending message that way.

I started a new job today. I added my work e-mail address to my Blackberry Tour; I can receive messages from my new e-mail addresses, but I cannot send a response back. Please help! Thank you.

Try a battery pull first.
If its work email, I would check with your IT department or whoever manages your work email. They may have to do another activation. I'm not sure how they have email setup.

No calls in call log, or voice mail online (but can be accessed via phone).

I had Fios internet and digital voice installed on February 14th 2012. I've set up all the voice mail functions and can access them via the phone. Voicemails left an laso be played back via the phone. However none of this information is being replicated online via the website. Voicemails are always empty, and the call logs show no record of any calls being made.
Is there anything else thatneeds to be set up?

I bought, installed, erased, reinstalled again but I still can not see the photos. They seem to be existing in "open-in" folder. When I tap, it goes back to "Home" screen.

This just started today. I can't open my web based email with godaddy. I can see the item when it loads but it will not open to read, reply or anything else.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the Firefox > Options menu under Applications, search for "mailto". From there select the action drop down and select the action.
If you click on the details of the action it should have https://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?To=%s
This macro should take you to a compose mail if you are logged in.
